Went here for a bridal show the place is so beautiful1 The appetizers were delicious and drinks were tasty will try it again on a regular night.

I actually came here for a private wedding reception and the venue is quite charming. Lots of plants and tree's on the exterior and a real spacious open area for dining. Nice memories were made here.

Never again. As a local for 24 years I've heard about the ambiance at the Addison. And true to reputation, it is a beautiful courtyard setting. However when my wife and I arrived for our 7 PM Saturday evening reservation, we were told that the courtyard was already reserved. No matter, we were seated inside at a very nice table. Then the race was on. I've never experienced speed dining before but suffice it to say we had our check handed to us at 8 PM.
After deciding on salads, the server encouraged us to order our entree at the same time since "we're about to get very crowded and there will be delays". My wife had her entree picked out and as I was deciding, he suggested the lobster dish which was a distinct specialty of the house. I'm not a huge fan of lobster, but decided to give the special a chance.
Our salads arrived and were delicious but my wife was asked 3 times if she was finished and she was not. After her last bite, she was asked a fourth time and also could they take the bread away as well. This constant badgering persisted throughout our 60 minute dining experience.
Although the meal was well done, the penultimate moment was when the bill arrived. My lobster special--which was market price--was 50? 60? 70? No....95 dollars. Seriously, Maine lobstermen are giving this stuff away and the Addison has the audacity to charge 95 dollars.
When I complained to the manager about the speed dining and the 95 dollars he gave me his card and said he would give me free drinks and appetizers when I return. No thanks, Mohammed, I won't be returning since you didn't take care of the issue at the time.
Eventually, their 70 year old clientele will move on and the next generation will actually use the internet and find out what a trap this place is. Save your money and go to Atlantic avenue in Delray where you'll get the same ambiance with better service, food....and, more importantly, pricing. -

The Eats: An American/French menu with an eclectic twist and an amazing bar menu. The lambchops are NOT to be missed here and the specials are always winners. Last time I tried the goat cheese risotto and it was a perfect way to get our meal started. The Braised Beef was a favorite at the table, but a tad too Rosemary heavy for me. The calamari is a nice starter also. As for dessert, the only thing I have tried are the profiteroles. They were bad enough to almost give the total a 4 star instead of a 5 and I would take Dunkin Donut Munchkins over these expensive fauxnuts any day.
The Experience: For a nice night out, I would go to this wonderful restaurant. The interior is incredible and the bar is built around very old HUGE banyan trees. Even if you just stop in for a drink and an appetizer, this place is like nothing you have seen before. Sitting outdoors under the lit trees when there is a live band is romantic, breezy , quite, and my dream sanctuary.
A secret gem. A for food and A for service.

I cant see how this place gets any bad reviews......
There is a giant tree in the center of the restaurant and there is almost always live music outside. The food was great and the the average girl at the bar was SUPER HOT and not a typical BOCA cougar -

Great ambiance.
4 of us surprised my sister for her 30th birthday by taking her to this beautiful restaurant. We sat at a round table outside where the surroundings were just lovely. It was a Friday evening, and there was a live band with a singer; which enhanced our dinner. There is plenty of space to dance outside too! The inside dining area looked nice and I would also revisit and have a drink or 2 at the bar. Everyone in our party loved the food and even the salad I had was tasty and is something I would order again.
Definitely a romantic place to take that special someone! -

I found the restaurant lovely, the staff friendly and professional. The food however was unremarkable. It was in all fairness a dinner for 40 or so that I was invited to, but it was just not what I had hoped for.

Had $100 gift cert to this restaraunt from Paulys picks... true the restaraunt is gorgeous... def a place to host a fancy party and/or wedding... the server reeked of cigarettes, def not a fan of that. the little bread basket was good w a couple different spreads, the spinach salad was wonderful...the main course was def not memorable, and the prices are little ridiculous. my meal was $45 veal oscar... skimpy on the crap, asked for medium rare, got medium well done... my sisters $40 for a couple of lamb chops...the dessert was a white chocolate creme brulee. i am not a fan whatsoever of white chocolate but i had to compromise w. my sister , but it was still delicious and i couldnt taste any hint of white chocolate, praise Jesus. def don't plan on comin back here unless i'm invited to a wedding/party here.
