I discovered that Show Low Arizona has some foodie action up it's sleeve when I uncovered this face card along Deuce of Clubs.
Given it may be a weak ace in this 3 bet town but given the range of hands up here it was time for all in and lunch.
The table was full of fast food bottom ends and this looked like a good drawing hand.
My first hand dealt me enchilada soup. It was vegetarian and unfortunately lacked the ace I was looking for. The pair of beans (black and pinto) were called and the round went to the house.
I anted up for the next hand and was dealt a french onion turkey sandwich. It was a scare card plain and simple and I could tell it was leading to at least a big full. The multitude of onions and strong soupy flavor coupled with the swiss cheese and grilled bread proved the winning hand and I cleared the table a winner.
If you're in for a game in Show Low I recommend you play a hand or two at Addi J's.
