THE BEST ITALIAN BREAD ON THE PLANET!!! After having a Hero on this bread, it became clear, the bread makes a sandwich.
If you never tried this Italian seeded bread, run as fast as you can and get some. I'm eating a hero right now as I type. -

Tremendous selection of high quality baked goods and delicious bread. They have one type in particular that has pork inside and is made with lard. Pork bread?? Genius!

THE BEST OF THE BEST.
I bought half a ring of some sort of very delicious bread with bits of ham in it. I also bought one loaf of chocolate bread and half a loaf of whole wheat bread. 20hrs later, only half the loaf of chocolate bread remain.
The bread is just amazing. Very soft on the inside and tasty.
The owners are very passionate at what they do. Perhaps this panache is kneaded into the the exceptional quality and flavor of their products.
If I didn't live in Manhattan, I would come here everyday.
I wish there were some sort of big bakery store in Manhattan that brought together all the delicious bread and pastries from the borough - kind of like the farmer's market, a baker's market instead. -

BEST DARN BREAD EVER!
There are (2) locations, I usually go to the one on Hughes Ave not Arthur Ave, but I would guess they're the same.
I cannot stop raving about this place to everyone at work, at home... just plain everyone... here's a list of great stuff to get there.:
* Pizza Dough, there's regular and wheat, wheat sells out real quick, choose your poison
* Round hard bread... MMmm the best ever, I have them slice it and its perfectly crisp on the outside, soft & tasty inside.
* Giselles - dunno the correct spelling, but they come in plain or with black pepper, go for the hot pepper, they are dry as hell (to me), but my co-worker loves them -

Great bakery smell when you walk in, amazing bread as well. They sell bread sticks too.

Great bread. Arthur Avenue is a great little place to visit. If you're making the trip, you might as well get some exceptional bread as well.

Incredible that only one review exists for this place. They make, without question, the best bread in the world. In our family we joke that they must spike the bread with drugs or something because it really is amazing. Addeo's bread alone is what makes me drive over to Arthur Avenue from Throggs Neck, every Saturday morning.
