Nadav helped us change the dinning room lighting and all the old wall plugs (near kitchen sink and bathroom vanity) to GFCI.
And he climbed up to our roof top to check how we can change our bathroom vent system. His work is very professional.
One that day, I went to Home Depot to buy a wall plug cover for our patio and bumped into him there. He greeted me and even helped me choose the perfect cover. I will definitely come back to him if I have additional electrical project. Thanks, Nadav.Listed in: My Neighborhood

For a week I've had partial power at my house. I had 3 people tell me 3 different problems, all costly. I then went to YELP and read some reviews. Now my vote is in! I called Nadav and he was here in 15 minutes and power was totally restored in 10! Not only was he prompt and professional, he's honest! I would highly recommend him.

We have used Adary Electric for various electrical work around the house. The simplest being, "Oops. We think we screwed up this light fixture install and now there's sparks coming out.. may be we need a professional to look at this" problem to retrofitting LED recessed lights into an existing CFL recessed fixtures, replacing exhaust fans in the bathroom (including rewiring the switches and redoing the ducts), installing new switches, etc etc. And every work they have done, we have been very pleased.
Every time their worker visits, they always put a bootie over their shoes to prevent tracking dirt into the house. They also meticulously tarp over everything before starting work to minimize any dust particle or wire cuttings from getting all over the place. Very appreciated when you have a crawling toddler in the house who will pick up anything off the floor and put it into the mouth and get into trouble (especially with copper wire bits!). They are neat, professional and pleasant people too. I watched as they cut a larger square opening into the ceiling, and the cut opening was very clean (no miscuts) and "square" with very straight lines. It wouldn't really matter as the flanges for electrical fixtures would usually completely hide them, but everything they have done, even in places that will not show when the work is completed, is done neatly and with care.
Nadav is very responsive, with a very calming/mellow presence. He seems to be the type who pays attention to detail and is free to give helpful DIY advice if it's relevant. He seems to be very flexible when you have an emergency situation (ahhh!!! sparks!!! help!!) and tries to get to you as quickly as he can. I have met two of his workers in addition to Nadav so far, and they are all equally pleasant, professional and hard working (does not waste time).
I've received competing quotes for various work, and Adary Electric is consistently in the lower-end in terms of the cost (sometimes not the lowest, but pretty close). Now that I have a working relationship with them, for the quality of work they do, I do not mind paying a little bit more for the peace of mind and their workmanship.
I am and will continue to be their repeat customer, and highly recommend them! -

I've had Adary Electric out twice to work on a house I bought in San Mateo that has a lot of electrical problems (knob and tube, ungrounded outlets, weird fuse panel, etc). Nadav and his team have been great both times. When faced with the challenges my house presents Nadav will think carefully through the problem and come up with a variety of solutions. He is also very calm and reassuring, which I value.
I got three bids on the first electrical job and Adary's prices fell between the sketchy electrician I wouldn't trust and the overbearing big electrical company that tried to pressure me to rewire the whole house at once. Definitely worth it for the confidence in the work without the hassle from the big guys. Plus, those other electricians took weeks to send me their estimates while Adary had not only sent theirs, done the work, but cashed my check too! Really, Adary Electric is great all around. -

I called this morning to get someone to come out and do an estimate and they responded immediately. I needed an additional plug put into dry wall in the garage- it already had existing wires. I tried explaining what was needed without knowing an electrician's lingo and they understood what needed to be done - even willing to accept some photos via email or phone to help better explain what exactly was needed. Marcy assured me that it didn't sound like too big of a job - and after a previous electrician and contractor told me it was a big job. I was quite relieved! Steve my electrician worked pretty fast and seemed very focused on the job at hand. He also gave me a ton of great advice on hiding wires. I am so happy the new plugs are concealed in the wall! An hour and a half later I had a wonderful garage solution and a very clean looking job. It was everything I wanted. I will absolutely save them in my phone as an electrician to call. Yet another way Yelp helps link you to great businesses.

Here is yet another testament to the five star rating for Nadav! I called about a rental that reported problems with a circuit breakers that required hard resets. Nadav was extremely helpful and suggested a few basic checks to save the expense of a call, but I told him it was worth the expense to make sure everything was okay. He was very responsive and contacted the renters to coordinate a time to visit the following day.
They discovered a faulty breaker and promptly replaced it as well as checking a few other items the renters had questions about. The fee was very reasonable and the service absolutely excellent!
I highly recommend Nadav and his crew who are now my go-to electricians! -

I like to think I understand electricity reasonably well. It's like water, there's a source and a sink, and it follows pretty consistent rules. But unlike water, it can really, really hurt.
So when everything I knew about electricity couldn't help me make *any* sense of why I lost half -- but only half -- of the electricity in my house after a light bulb went *bang*, I said to myself, "Self, let's not get hurt". Off to Yelp I went, and found these great reviews for Adary Electric.
I called them before business hours and left a voicemail, despite the fact that they included a panic pager number in their voicemail message, because my house wasn't burning down or anything. I just hoped to get into the morning queue.
Nadav called back first thing in the same day, and came out an hour later. Despite the leads I attempted to provide to the subpanel where I thought the problem was, he politely followed his own diagnostic procedure, methodically starting with the mains and working his way in.
Less than an hour later, he had (1) pinpointed the problem that my light bulb's ceiling fixture was itself shorting the circuit, which was (2) not tripping the breaker for that circuit but nonetheless was (3) tripping only *one* of the two breakers that fed the subpanel. He removed the ceiling fixture for us, capped the wires, and reset breakers as necessary. Voila, we were back in service. And he only charged for a nominal amount of labor, despite the fact that he returned half my house's power to life.
During the diagnosis, he also suggested upgrades to the mains to bring it up from 60A to 100A. Two days later, I already have a quote for that upgrade. He was willing to email it, but I botched my side of that, and he was happy to fax it instead.
He even unwrapped fresh booties to placate the "no shoes" rule in our house.
Darn straight I'm giving him 5 stars. -

Everything that has already been said is true. I had an electrical problem in my condo in Daly City and Nadav had one of his men contact my tenant and was there as promised. He quickly discovered the problem and not only resolved it but saw other potential wiring problems and corrected those as well. Nadav called me personally to explain what the problem was and what was done to rectify it.
He charged me for a one hour call, which I thought was extremely reasonable and fair. I will definitely be using Nadav for my future electrical needs. -

Nadav is amazing.
I recently put some heavy machinery in my garage (lathe, CNC mill). Getting industrial electrical in a residence has been not entirely straightforward.
There were two decent electricians in the area, one with a high yelp review the other recommended by a contractor I use. However it was always a PITA to get ahold of them. Either they wouldn't return phone calls, or there would be promises they could be out in a couple of weeks. (And I'm not a difficult customer! I paid cash the second the job was completed: no run around, no argument about price, no bounced checks or CC fees.)
I got fed up and called Nadev after seeing yelp reviews. First time he was out the next morning and lowered his rate b/c there was difficulty getting one machine working (not his fault). The next week when my CNC mill wouldn't power up he came over the next day, fixed it (despite never seeing its internals before) and rewired the 3 phase power so my lathe would not run backwards. He charged $50!!! Unbelieveble. I would use him for anything w/o hesitation. High quality work and no bullshit.
In the past I'd work around or ignore any electrical problems I was having; now I'm actually looking for additional things I can have fixed on the house since he does such good work. -

I have track lighting in my condo and three electricians who have looked at it in the past failed to recognize the problem. Based on Yelp review, I called Nadav and within the hour he was here. He spent about 20 minutes analyzing the problem, took care of it. He was fair, fast and efficient and I would highly recommend him for electrical problems in anyone's home. Thanks Nadav!

I have to add to the five star reviews for Adary. Nadav came out to our house (an Eichler) and was able to sort out the main conduit problem in a half hour. The rest of the time was the rewiring. I was worried that this would be either a $200 job (good) or a $2000 job (bad). It turned out to be less than $200. He was very professional, skilled at what he was doing, and finished the job in 1 1/2 hours. My wife was also very happy to get the lighting back on in the hall and the several rooms.
Besides, Nadav is a great guy and a good conversationalist while he was working.

The quality of the work performed by Nadav and his team was outstanding. Everyone on his team were polite, professional and helpful.
Adary Electric installed recessed lighting in the ceiling of our kitchen and den. They also upgraded many of our outlets and switches. For several of the light switches, they installed dimmers.
They also handled a few un-planned side jobs while they were on-site. For example, they upgraded the wiring to our front porch light, repaired one of our Tiffany floor lamps and installed a new light fixture in our downstairs bathroom.
I plan to use them again.
Although they may not be the cheapest, they are certainly among the best. -

I am updating my review of Adary Electric because they just completed a job for me at my old condo (my tenant had an electrical blowout in the kitchen!) and...NOT ONLY were they helpful, professional, and fast...but they also did it all FREE OF CHARGE!! What service!! :D
Apparently, they were concerned about the fact that I'd felt overcharged in my last two callouts for service. I'm not sure how they knew (maybe a previous Yelp post?!) but I am now more than satisfied with their customer service and wonderful results!! They are definitely my go-to electricians for any future needs!

Unfortunately I have to share with everyone my awful experience with Adary with the core reason being I was grossly overcharged and gouged (echoing Cher S' sentiment as well). I contacted Nadav who came and did a walkthrough of some minor electrical work throughout my house and asked him for an estimate. He told me that with all these little jobs he couldn't really do an estimate but that his guys could probably knock out the work in 4-5 hours. At $190/hr for 2 guys this was obviously something I was hoping for could be done in 4-5 hours. I have since found out from other friends familiar with electricians and general contracting that the work should and could have been done by 1 guy in the same time frame which is why I'm so upset.
Anyway Nadav's guys came on time and actually did excellent work-- they both took short smoke breaks and lunch which I, of course, assumed I wouldn't be billed for. As the day wore on, it seemed like things were taking a lot longer than I expected to change 2 ceiling light fixtures, change out 10 GFCIs, and replace a lot of the light switches throughout the house. I also asked them to do 2 other minor things including adding an outlet to an upstairs room and wiring a motion sensor light to outside.
Anyway, the guys wrapped up at 4 and cleaned up and left and then Nadav came by and discussed with me the bill, etc. Including parts-- he was charging me $1978!! I almost had a heart attack on the spot...I looked at the breakdown and saw that not only was he charging me for the time his guys worked but he included their smoke and lunch breaks in the total! On top of that he was charging himself out at 2 hours (again at $95/hr) for going to home depot for parts (home depot is less than 10 minutes away, one way). I asked him about his hours, which he agreed to remove, and then about the break time for his guys and he told me that it was a law that the guys got 15 minutes breaks every 4 hours. I have been a consultant myself and knew that but what I didn't understand was what that had to do with me. They're his employees so why is he CHARGING me for something he's obligated to by law to offer? On top of that, he billed me for 7.5 hours which isn't 8 hours to begin with!?!?! Anyway, I was still upset but gave him a deposit on the money due.
I then spoke to other friends, 2 of whom can handle minor electrical work and are good all around with household repair (one of whom is adding an addition to his house pretty much on his own) and they were floored and outraged when I showed them the bill and found out the charges. They definitively told me that I had been ripped off based on the amount of time and the number of people needed there to do the work. In essence they both said confidently that 1 good electrician could have handled all the work described and listed in about the 6 hours they were there. This of course made me even more upset.
Nadav and I finally spoke about my unhappiness about feeling gouged and I will say to his credit he was pleasant to deal with even though this was an unpleasant topic. I expressed to him my frustration with feeling way overcharged and he kept telling me how he's been in business for 20 years and have had repeat customers, etc. I then asked him again why I was being charged for his guy's break time and how he should not have tried to make it confusing regarding responsibility (he somehow made it seem like it was my financial responsibility) and then he started to apologize and backpedal saying that we could remove those charges immediately from the invoice.
I told him he shouldn't do business this way and that while his guys work was top notch, I would never work with him again for gouging me so badly. We finally agreed on a price (that I still feel is way too high for the work done-- I have a copy of the invoice that I can provide anyone who would like to see) of $1400 but still feeling incredibly ripped off and upset about this whole process.
I am clearly am a layman when it comes to electrical work and feel gouged and taken advantage of by this company because of it. I was going to rate them 2 stars only because Nadav is a pleasant person (but pleasant doesn't absolve gouging and overcharging) and his guys did do good work but after thinking about it more, I just can't.
I would strongly deter anyone from working with this company unless you have a very clear estimate and have someone qualified to double check their estimate and manage them for even the simplest electrical job. Nadav you should be ashamed of yourself for conducting business this way. Good riddance! -

Everything that the other reviewers wrote is absolutely correct! Last week, I was desperate. An electrician who'd been recommended by a friend kept forgetting our appointments and I was tired of the aggravation. I looked on Yelp and found Adary Electric. Nadav took my call immediately. The next morning at 8:30 a.m. (prompt!), Victor arrived. He handled EVERYTHING (lots of little electrical issues) and advised me about my options. Nadav stopped by to bring various supplies and to introduce himself. This is excellent service, rare to find these days. I will call Adary Electric for all my future work.

No job is too small. Nadav and Victor tag teamed to get the job done. We switched our internet/cable service to AT&T requiring a grounded outlet for installation. My wife made an appointment with an electrician from the Yellow pages, that offered a free appraisal, who showed up late for the appraisal and did not call. What made things worse was he never showed up for the job he agreed to do and of course did not call. Beware of "Free Appraisal". Nadav and Victor did the job quickly, correctly, less expensive and were pleasant to top it off. Nadav brought tools, unlike the other fellow, ready to work and finished the job that day. Great.

Nadav and his crewman Victor have done two repairs on our San Carlos home. Victor is extremely professional. They are very honest and gave us options for further work. They found out our neighbors had been using our electricity. They are very reasonable in price. Victor is very hard working. His last job here was thought to be simple and it sadly ended up taking about five hours due to the previous owner and their diy duck tape type of work. I would highly recommend them for any work. I called Nadav on New Year's Eve to install new lighting in our kitchen. He came over within a couple hours and gave us great advice. He then came over on Monday and finished the job in just two hours (less than half the time it usually takes). In between we saw him at Home Depot where he gave us detailed advice on what to buy without charge. He did a great job and everything looks perfect. I highly reccomend Adary Electric and Nadav!

I just had Adary Electric complete a second job at my house. I first used them to track down a very hard to find problem that caused a circuit breaker to go at random times. It was a small job and a tough job but they were persistent and solved the problem at a very reasonable price.
When it came time to add some new outlets and to rewire the cable TV, internet and phone, I gave them a call. The estimate was accurate and they completed the job on schedule. In fact when it looked like they might not get it done on time, they brought in an extra person to ensure that all was done properly. I appreciated their clean up of the job site and their great skill at working with old lath and plaster without creating a lot of mess. They managed to install new outlets in the old walls without a single crack.
I am extremely happy to find a reputable company that meets commitments and has great quality. They did what they promised to do and they stayed within the budget.
I recommend Adary to anyone who wants great work at a reasonable price. -

Nadav at Adary is my gold standard of service contractors. He's fast, friendly and does a great job every time I have used him. He is also fair with prices and time, something that most contractors are not. He came for 20 minutes to install a sign and charged me for 20 minutes.. most contractors aren't so honest.
On another occasion Nadav sent one of his employees, Peter I think, to install an energy meter in my electrical closet and he did an excellent job on that too. It was not an easy item to install and he did it in a reasonable amount of time and nicely retrofitted an existing metal enclosure to house the unit. -

I had a small electical problem. I turned on my TV, heard a crackle from another light socket, and then power on about 4 outlets went out. The breaker did not trip. I realize it was something small, but I leave electical problems to the pros.
I called 3 electricians (all got good reviews on yelp) and Adary was the only one who even called me back. Nadav came out exactly on time and he got right to work. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He fixed the job in no time. Excellent work. I was very happy with the job.
From now on, anything electrical, I'm calling Adary. -

I tried calling other electricians at first then, I decided to look at reviews and came across Adary Electric, Inc. I am so grateful. Maybe it was because my job was not a major renovation or new construction but regardless, all other electricians I called either never returned my calls or emails or they simply came for an estimate and then I never heard from them again. Nadav, is the owner and I can honestly say that "Customer Service" is alive and well. He and his team are very professional, timely and neat. Their estimates are very reasonable and their work exceptional. You can't go wrong with them.

Let's face it: these guys are ridiculously good. We had random "issues" with our backyard lighting and water fountain pump. The lighting problems were child's play for Victor and Nadav...I could almost see them flexing their "electrical muscles" and crushing the competition, Olympics-style! The fountain pump...hum-m-m, not as familiar...but willing to give it a try. They were fabulous: bought a new pump and installed it on the same as they performed the lighting fixes. Victor and Nadav are professional, thorough and fast. I would recommend them to anyone.

We called Nadev and he came out later the same day. Very small job. We had a room that lost power and flipping the circuit breaker didn't work. He came right on time and was very nice to work with. He explained to us that the dimmer switch in the room that controlled the outlets was the culprit. He replaced it and all was good again. Will definitely use him again.

Adary Electric sure did an INCREDIBLE job for us and we would highly recommend them. They replaced an old light fixture that was quite an eyesore over our dining room table. After taking it down, I asked that they center the new fixture directly over the table, since it had been off centered for so many years. It wasn't an easy task because I previously called in two other electricians who said it would be difficult and cost an arm and a leg. Nadav came in, gave me a very decent quote, completed the job with a smile and with his expertise had the job done within a couple of hours. We now have a beautiful light fixture perfectly centered over our dining room table and have Adary Electric to thank for it! Cindy H.

My door bell broke recently and I checked on yelp for electricians. I found Adary Electric with good review, called them and Nadav came by soon on the same day. He repaired the bell quickly. Very helpful and friendly! Would recommend them!
