I really love this place. I use to live up the street and had been eating there since it opened about 2 years ago.
The food is fresh, they make the fresh salad (Armenian Salad) on the spot, when you order. The meat is tasty; I like the chicken breast and you can tell how good the quality is. My favorite are all the different side salads, super tasty. My Armenian friend had dinner with me and she said it was amazing Armenian food - contrary to a previous review.
The prices are extremely reasonable!! I like bringing my own alcohol to places and this place is very accommodating.
The owner is a cutie pie, he works there every day and is very chill.
The waitress is ok, she's a bit rough around the edges but it might be a cultural gap. She's just doing her job, so don't take it personally if she isn't smiling all the time. Let's face it, waitressing scrapes the bottom of the barrel of jobs.
I go back and pick up food regularly even though I moved to the Valley. -

uhhh.....im reading the reviews thinking "am i at the right page?" anyways yeah the waitress was very nice (at least the one that helped me) the food was average nothing out of the ordinary. The problem with this place is you dont get what you see in the picture.
For example if the picture has rice, tomatoes, peppers chicken you would ONLY get the chicken unless you ask for the other things that were included in the picture. When they brought the food and there was no rice, tomatoes or peppers i was like "what the heck is this" are you kidding me? and when we asked for rice they brought us a bowl of rice that wasnt even enough for 4 people. Anyways all i can say is if there is a taco bell across the street from this place ill go eat there. -

Dear Adam's Kabob,
Your food is good, but please serve better bread than that Indian thin and tasting bread. Please serve better bread because your current bread is ruining the taste of your food and the whole experience of dining at Adam's Kabob House.
Thank you.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Food is good, but they serve the meal with cheap INDIAN BREAD! I suppose this is a cost-cutting… Read more »

Mediocre Armenian food hidden in residential neighborhood in the south part of Glendale. This place is pretty new, and they would have gotten 4 stars if they hadn't recently raised all their prices.
I doubt anyone would come here if they did not live in the immediate area., but since I live a few blocks away, it's convenient and pretty decent.
The beef looleh stuff they have here tastes awesome, but makes my stomach feel strange almost every time I eat it...Could be that I'm not used to Persian/Armenian style cooking, but who knows. -

I was able to use a http://restaurants.com certificate here. Got 3 main entrees (beef kabobs, chicken kabobs, lamb chops and a side of hummus) and paid about $20 for takeout, using a $25 certificate. They charged a bit extra but it was still a good deal, and I think without a certificate the food would have cost $50 dining in the restaurant.
About the food: I thought the hummus was fantastic. Really flavorful. The beef kebabs were alright. The rice was good. The sides were forgettable. It was satisfying Mediterranean food.
The atmosphere in house is a bit odd. It's a bit dark and kind of has a lower mid-range kind of feel. The people in the kitchen and the servers are all Middle-Eastern and that gives the place an authentic feel. -

I really enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. First of all, the location made me feel like I was back in time, before strip malls, when people didn't go to a busy commercial area to hang out. This place is in a pretty residential area, not on a major street. When you walk into this clean restaurant with table linens and china, you see what you assume are locals chatting it up. The waitress is very sweet, and the food is good. When we walked out the owner asked us if we enjoyed our meal. Lots of pride of ownership which you don't get if you go to a chain. The weather was so nice and the area so homey, we wanted to go for a walk (I know, in LA?) and continue to find a bakery...

Enjoyed a late lunch here, the two different eggplant salads were fresn and delicious and the beef kabob was awesome as well. Prices were very reasonable, lots of vegetarian dishes, service friendly enough, and the location is a big bonus-in the middle of the city but it feels like Main St! Next time it'll be dinner and we'll bring a bottle of wine!

I have done little partys here for such occasions.
Sometimes have closed down the restaurant just for my family and friends.
The foods awesome! Best veritys of the Armenian culture food that they have... all is FRESH everyday made. You have to, have to try the side dishes along with the sliced potatoes right out of the over round and crispy, yet soft. Amazing!
The owner is very nice and the service is great... Its not a high class restaurant, but its well maintained and very clean!

This food is AMAZING here! My husband and I visited for the first time recently and will be returning soon. We had hummus, ikra, a huge, very fresh Greek salad and the incredible Tava Kabob, a combination of chicken and beef lula kabobs. It was all so deliciously flavorful and wonderfully fresh! The people were so sweet and kind as well. Perhaps one of the best restaurants I've been to which feature middle eastern cuisine!

Adam's is a pure win. Run don't walk to it, get the beet salad! The Lula Kabob's are also pretty great. The place has it's own charm, don't expect annoying overly friendly customer service. Just expect a great affordable meal that you will return for again and again.

I liked the food but the waitress was sooo unfriendly! :( it was my first time there and I looked on the menu above on the wall I ordered number 6 beef and chicken kabob but I got only chicken! when I asked her politely if there was supposed to be beef? she said NO! you didn't say "combination" !!! I cannot explain her attitude here but yeah I guess you all know what I meant, hmmmm and i didn't want to argue with her any further so i let it go....I am sure there is a better kabob place out there in Glendale...right everyone?
