I can't rave enough about this place! They sell such beautiful pieces that aren't the same old thing you see everywhere else. That being said, they do have some traditional pieces and will custom design things for you if you want.
My partner and I bought my engagement ring from Adamas last summer. We were been beyond thrilled with the service, quality, and prices. Anto took the time to listen to what I wanted and the budget we wanted to stay within. We were very impressed that he never tried to up-sell us but instead explained how to get the most out of our budget. He treated us as if we were there to spend $100,000 instead of several grand. When we told him that we were concerned about conflict diamonds he explained to us what our options were and how much each option would cost us. I also personally loved the fact that although my partner had talked about what the budget was in front of me, when it came time to pay Anto refused to have me in the store while money was changing hands. Instead he had my partner call him later with a credit card #.
Today we ordered our wedding bands from Anto and were once again blown away by the service. First of all, we really wanted to take advantage of tax free weekend but couldn't get to the store so Anto let us place our order over the phone. This was especially surprising since
my partner had an idea of the ring he wanted but Adamas doesn't sell such a ring. No problem, Anto told him that he would special order it and if it wasn't the right width he would take it back and make it wider/thinner and either charge us the difference or refund it. That's pretty surprising for a special order. And then just to make the deal even sweeter, Anto gave us a 20% discount that they were applying to showroom items today. Even though neither of our rings were showroom items! Amazing. -

This is the best jeweler I have ever been to -- they are creative and they listen. Other jewelers are prescriptive, in my experience. I have had a diamond pendant reset and my engagement ring also reset. One of my grandmother's diamonds is now in a gorgeous stacking ring with my engagement ring. Aboyan and Veronica Sagherian are attentive artisans.

This is a fantastic local jeweler whose taste and expertise transcend the ordinary, and our family's experiences at Adamas could not have been more pleasant. Anto was generous with his time and considerate in all of his communications, and the series of rings that he created (from a set of inherited gemstones) precisely reflected our conversations with him. Also? These rings are seriously gorgeous! The meticulous setting of each stone makes each ring sparkle, and the color of the gold is perfection--a tone carefully calibrated by the designer to complement the work. It's hard to do tasteful, classic jewelry without resorting to cliches, and yet this place seems to have mastered just that. Highly recommend.

Adamas Jewelry is a hidden gem in Newton, Ma. If you haven't had a chance to visit yet, make it a point to do so soon, you will definitely find that unique gift you're looking for whether it's for the holidays or for another special occasion. Anto and Veronica have amazing taste and they give each customer their personal attention. It's always fun just to walk into the store and window shop even if you're not in the market for anything special. But be beware if you decide to browse, you may walk out unexpectedly with a shiny little surprise.

I cannot say enough positive things about Adamas Fine Jewelry! For our anniversary, my husband bought me the most beautiful sapphire and diamond ring I have ever seen! The quality of the stones was unbelievable and the ring is striking. Anto and Veronica made sure the ring was perfect, not on only on my finger, but also for me. The shopping experience at Adamas was fun and exciting. Anto and Veronica's enthusiasm for what they do is infectious. I have never walked away from this wonderful store unhappy. Thank you Adams!

Adamas Fine Jewelry is the BEST jeweler in the area, in my book. I've travelled extensively and I have to say, I've never found a better jewelry store and trustworthy owner. Anto is a gem himself. Always attentive, polite, and a magnificent designer. I love the unique pieces they design and for my 20th anniversary, Anto made the most beautiful emerald and diamond necklace I've ever seen!!! He used my stones that were very meaningful, and created this elegant necklace that I wear everyday! He worked with my husband to create this beautiful treasure. It can be worn on dressy occasions, or worn casually with jeans, as a show-stopping piece. Everyone who sees this necklaces RAVES about it's beauty and unique design. Thank you Anto and Veronica for this treasure that I will wear forever and pass along to my daughter.

It's been a full day later and I'm still shell-shocked by how rudely I was treated and dismissed by Adamas owner Anto Aboyan. I had brought my Tiffany's ring in to be resized several weeks ago and he was very polite, telling me it would be "perfect" and not to worry. However, upon picking it up I had a bit of a problem with his workmanship. (It is a difficult ring to work on, so I anticipated that it could take several iterations and more than several hundred dollars to make right.) But instead of working with me to solve the problems, he immediately became defensive and even irate, telling me the ring was "perfect" and to "just walk away and enjoy it as it is". When I tried to explain why in fact the work to my mind was not satisfactory (namely, that the diamond bezel he inserted didn't match any of the 3 sizes of the other bezels on the ring), he said he didn't want to discuss it further and that he was going to the back of his shop. I can understand us having a difference in opinion on the quality of craftsmanship and design. Standards differ. However, what was not all right was his rude, demanding and belittling attitude. I'm not quite sure what set Mr. Aboyan off but I can think of no excuse to treat a customer abusively. It was as if I was dealing with an angry child. In short, I paid $350 for a half-done jewelry repair and a defensive tongue-lashing. An ugly experience.
