Dr. Adam is incredible! I can't recommend him highly enough! I wish I could visit him regularly, but I don't live in Northern California. I found him on my insurance provider list, as I was prepping for my trip to San Francisco for my first ever Alcatraz Sharkfest Swim!

I was really excited about the race and had trained for months, incorporating regular treatments from my local acupuncturist in West LA, when three weeks before the swim I got hit with Covid. It was a rough nine days before I was finally negative, and even then the symptoms stubbornly persisted. I felt weaker and my head was foggy--I worried I wouldn't have the energy, strength, and stamina to compete. Still, I didn't want to give up--it meant a lot to me to finish this race. I knew my best bet would be to get one last treatment the day before the race.

Fortunately, Dr. Adam had availability at the ideal time & place for me! His treatment was thorough and effective, incorporating cupping, acupuncture, acupressure, and a little massage. I felt so much better afterwards and felt fantastic for the big swim the next day, which I not only completed successfully, but thoroughly enjoyed!

Thanks to Dr. Adam, I completed my bucket list dream swim! Now I look forward to participating every year--and will definitely be getting a treatment from Dr. Adam to be in prime shape for it!

I was recently recommended to Adam for acute shoulder pain and immobility. The positive results were almost immediate and remarkable. After one visit I was able to sleep again, and after only two sessions, I had regained functional use of the shoulder.

From the beginning Adam jumped to a faulty diagnosis, with very little input from me, that was far fetched at best and costly (treated me over 10 sessions based on the misdiagnosis). Also persuaded me to buy expensive Chinese medicines that did nothing but give me bad stomach cramps. It was only later, with the help of a physician and physical therapist, that I got the proper care. I'm giving 2 stars only because the sessions provided a break from work in a calm environment and Adam has good bedside manners.

I came to see Dr. Adam after hearing great things about him, and the acupuncture in general. I haven't tried it before, but I knew I had nothing to lose (besides my lower back pain). In addition to my postpartum low back pain, I was going through some stressful transitions in my life. As soon as I came into Adam's office, I felt like I am in a safe place with someone I can trust. Not only my low back felt amazing after my first visit, but I also felt very relaxed and stress-free. It must be a combination of Adam's professionalism, his peaceful and reassuring presence, and a clean, beautiful office with lots of green plants. Unfortunately I moved out of the Bay Area, but even the few weeks that I saw Adam made my life much better and pain-free!

I was new to acupuncture / acupressure and have been working with Dr Adam Wiscomb who has been great!!! He relieved my lower back pain. He also has removed my foot pains and sensations - literally bringing my feet back to life so walking is no longer an issue. He is improving my sleep and has already relieved my nervous leg syndrome (a big help!) His knowledge and compassionate approach made it easy to build a great rapport. Since we have been so successful, we continue to work to improve my health in other areas. I highly recommend Dr. Adam!

I have been seeing Adam for many years! He's worked with me on a variety of issues related to stress, tight shoulders & back pain. Most recently I went in with a really tight back which was limiting my mobility. I have been using Adam's services for several years (for allergies and respiratory issues), and have found him to be a very caring, diligent, and competent acupuncturist and herbalist. A few years back, he picked up on a health issue my internist had missed, and which would have become very serious if not treated.

I've been going to Dr. Adam since 2018 and I've never felt so great. He has treated my headaches, sleep problems, and most of all helped me with fertility treatment. I see him every week and it's been wonderful. I have less headaches and I've been able to sleep better. I was afraid to try acupuncture because of needles but he immediately eased my fears. He is very light with his hands and firm if needed with other treatments such as muscle aches and pains. I was able to conceive with his treatment and my son is now 8 mos old! I strongly believe he has contributed to my conception with his treatment. Dr. Adam is the most pleasant and very attentive doctor. He is personable and professional. I've recommended him to my friends and colleagues also. I highly recommend him.

I've been going to see Dr. Adam Wiscomb off-and-on for seven years. Anytime I have an ache or ailment, he is the one I turn to. His technique truly works, and I often find relief after even 1 session! He does cupping and acupressure too. His demeanor is great, and I always feel comfortable and well taken care of. I would recommend anyone looking for an acupuncturist to go see Dr Adam ASAP.
