Adam is the amazing, and at only $35 per session very affordable. I have tried many different acupuncturist in Boulder, but Adam is by far the best. He takes the time to talk to me before my treatments, and really makes sure he is doing everything he can to help. I am normally a pretty guarded person, but he is so compassionate and understanding that I have absolutely no trouble opening up to him. Within minutes of him placing the needles I am 100% relaxed no matter how stressful my day was. After only a few sessions I am feeling much less anxious, happier, and better about myself. The aches and pains are gone and my stomach isn't constantly hurting.

I had always been interested in trying acupuncture but until I found Adam and the "community approach" it was out of my price range.  I feel very fortunate that I was able to be treated by him for the past year and have seen marked improvement in my health and well-being.  Adam is a caring practitioner who puts his all into his practice and his patients and truly loves what he does!

Adam is the rare practitioner that puts his patients first. I have worked with several different healers over the years, and his passion for healing, and hands are as good as it gets. His has very positive energy which is healing in its own right.  I benefited particularily from Chinese massage to my shoulder. It had been bothering me for weeks, and was unresponsive to at least two other local practitioners.  He also helped me with postural issues I was having to help keep me balanced, and is a great chi gong teacher as well.   I highly recommend Adam and have referred him several patients for co-management.

Adam's treatments were a great help to me when I was experiencing a lot of pain and stiffness in my body from hours spent working at the computer. I had never before had acupressure massage, but one treatment and I was sold! He also taught me a few simple exercises which I still do daily, and which help keep me limber and relaxed. I am sorry to see him leave the Bay Area, but wish him and his family every success in Boulder.

Meet the Business Owner: Adam S.

I first became interested in the Chinese healing arts after having practiced the Chinese internal arts including the martial and healing practices of Tai Ji and Qi Gong, respectively. I owe a great debt of gratitude to these ancient traditions for helping me to develop the strong root, focused intent, and sensitive touch that make me successful.

In 2001, I received my massage certification from the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, CA and have continued my studies in hands-on modalities since.  I received my Acupuncture License from the State of California in October 2005 after completing I completed my Masters in Chinese Medicine at the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences in Oakland.

Maintaining a private massage practice since 2001 and acupuncture in 2005, I have worked with all types of chronic and acute pain as well as mental/emotional distress, chronic and degenerative disorders. As a father of two I also have experience with children, infants and pregnancy.
