Review from Elizabeth K.
San Diego, CA
Purchased an hour photoshoot off http://BuyWithMe.com. Adam is wonderful! Unlike all the people doing engagements or family photos, I wanted something different with my husband, because we have almost no pictures of us together besides our engagement and wedding photos. One of us was always holding the camera.
Adam was great by email communication, even while he was out of country, and after some discussion, we agreed that the US Grant is the best location. All was arranged.
Meeting him on the day was fabulous. He has a very easygoing, easy to work with personality and a great eye for detail. He said he was ecstatic about doing a different, edgier kind of fashion shoot. We just walked around and did poses in different areas. He's VERY comfortable giving direction so that even though certain poses may not come "naturally," it gives you the best look for the photograph.
He noticed things not in regular places such as a painting dangling over a carpeted staircase, a wood hallway, or a vibrantly coloured entryway to the gym and banquet rooms - things others would have just passed by because it's not a "main attraction" of the hotel. He's also a perfectionist and apparently does not sleep, as he threw up a few fantastic preview pictures on his blog just the very next morning for us to see! -

Having never done headshots with my kiddos before, this was a exciting experience for us. Adam walked up through the shoot, quickly, painessly and, above all, patiently! It's not easy to shoot a child, especially when all said wonderful child wants to do is chase butterflies! (Who can blame him?)
We received beautifully edited shots. Many were quite artistic and definitely good quality. We were able to see them online within a day or so, and also received a picture disk with all of the photos.
Adam was professional, cool, and easy to work with. It isn't always easy to get an appointment exactly when you want it, so be prepared to be flexible to some degree. Communication, however, was great.
I'm not going to hesitate to call Adam Baruh again. Just fantastic! -

We cannot say enough great things about Adam!!! He did our engagement and wedding pictures and we have received so many compliments about the quality of his work! I would not hesitate to recommend Adam and in fact we talk about him and his photography any chance we get. Adam is a true professional in every sense of the word with amazing skills.

We cannot begin to say enough good things about Adam and Shawna. Adam and Shawna photographed our rehearsal dinner and wedding in Seattle, Washington. Trusting someone to capture a once in a lifetime event can be quite a task, but this team rose to the challenge. Below are the characteristics that made them amazing and notable:
1. Professional-From start to finish, Adam and Shawna run their business in a very clear, straightforward and organized fashion. There were no surprises and they exceeded all expectations that were set.
2. Artistic-We were amazed by the artistic edge that our photos provided. The finished product looked like something out of a wedding magazine. In fact, I received multiple comments that our photos could be in a bridal magazine. They both have an eye for different and unusual angles and techniques.
3. Creative-Adam and Shawna's photojournalistic style provided great candid shots, while pulling in unique details beyond the obvious. They were able to take any scenery or background and create a notable photo shoot.
4. Comfortable-This is probably the most important quality in your photographer. It is essential that you feel 100% comfortable with your photographer because they will be with and around you during the most intimate parts of your day. Adam and Shawna were authentic, respectful and professional throughout the entire event. They had the ability to capture our day without being obtrusive or staging the event. As a couple, we felt extremely comfortable having them with us throughout the entire process.
5. Reliable-Adam and Shawna required little to no management. They came and did exactly what we needed and we never had to worry about where they were or what they were doing. On your wedding you have plenty to worry about and we felt 100% confident and comfortable that Adam and Shawna were on top of everything.
I'll put it this way, your friends will be jealous of your wedding photos.

Meet the Business Owner: Adam B.
I love photographing people! I guess it comes from my interest in human behavior, my love for all things gadgety and technical, and simply getting to meet new and interesting people. This is my third year in business and while I focus mainly on wedding photography, I also love photographing children as well as fashion.
