Adair, a small and quaint red barn where we tried five different wines and a spiced wine too.  Adair grows their own grapes and uses local farms for peaches, black currants and apricots - which are used in the wines!  Wines were mostly fruity and one dry red.  Peach dessert wine to die for!  Lovely decorations for holidays.  Staff friendly :)

What a waste of time! Avoid this place. $5 for a couple of drops of 4 of the worst wines you will try. The staff was clueless and not friendly. Bathroom is a port-a-potty, need I say more...stay away even though it's located on the wine trail.

Adair Vineyards marked the first winery on our Shawangunk Wine Trail. It was housed in an authentic old school red barn. Outside were a few picnic tables and lots of green grass scattered with a few chipmunks here and there. The inside of the winery barn was dark, small, and simple. Part wine tasting room and part gift shop, Adair Vineyards is perfect for a small to medium sized group for an intimate wine tasting session. We were able to try about six different wines ranging from dry whites to reds to dessert wines.

I liked the Cayuga White much better than the dry Vidal. Blackberry wine seems to be the specialty of Adair Vineyards and is worth a shot.

Adair Vineyards is open Friday-Sunday, 11-6 PM. It's a small place but during your short visit, you will feel like you've stepped back in time and are in another state (up). It's cute. It's quaint. And it's tasty. The vineyards are also open to the public for frolicking.

A charming winery housed in an old barn, the downstairs is where everything is made and the upstairs is a cute tasting room/gift shop.  Not being a fan of blackberries, I was hesitant to try their BlackBerry Kir, but it was so delicious, I left with two bottles!   Definitely a great start to our day of wine-tasting!

Stopped by Adair Vineyards after a full day of biking around Lake Minnewaska. Love how it was inside an old red barn. $5 for a tasting, a free glass and a free tote bag (without having to buy a bottle of wine). What a great ending to a nice day of riding.

Five dollars for a wine tasting - plus a free glass - in a grandiose barn conversion. No reds, and the whites were all rather similar, but I repeat - five dollars, free glass!
