This company in my opinion is one giant scam. They use cold-calling and high pressure tactics to try and ram a sale down your throat.
Anytime you get a random call out of the blue with someone trying to sell you something and then asking "will both parties be available", you know you're about to get fed a load of BS.
The program they offer is hardly unique. Water Heater, KVAR(which is useless for residential use), radiant barrier and Aero-Duct Seal are combined to allow for a much higher total price than if sold individually. The savings are grossly over-estimated and you're much better off calling a more reputable solar water heating company if that is what you are looking for otherwise there are a host of qualified companies, qualified through the utilities to do proper and professional energy audits who won't try to gouge you.
In short, if Adair comes into your home, this is what will happen.
"Warmup"-The salesperson will sit with you and talk about baseball, apple pie and if you're from Ohio, hey, they'll be from the Midwest too.
Presentation-They try to generate tons of emotion, talking about just how much you'll save, how wonderful life will be, how you'll be able to stick it to the utility company and hold some POWER in your hands........with a well-done presentation, your excitement level will definitely be amped up.
They talk about how difficult the economic times are, how you won't need to pay any cash out of pocket and will have a phone number for a bank to call to get INSTANT APPROVAL on a loan, promising you that the savings on your electricity will far exceed what you pay out of pocket for the loan.
They'll pressure you and pressure you some more into signing papers that night, recycling every closing line in the Tom Hopkins books, over and over again, if you continue to resist, at some point they may even get nasty and storm out of your house because they know full well that once you get a chance to research the company, research their ROC and BBB info, the many pissed off customers out there, that there's no way that they're getting your business, so they will do anything to get the sale that night.
If you really want to put yourself through 3-4 hours of this one evening, go ahead and make that appointment with the sleazy telemarketer that calls you.
