Never a disappointment! I love finding new friends who have never been here...once I introduce them, they think I'm so cool. I have been going to ad-libs for a long time so I have cred....hahaha!
Some of the same guys are still in it and they are my favorites.
It is best to have reservations, so plan early. Don't freak if they pick on you...it just means you are interesting to them. I love my AL boys...wish I could go every weekend!

Tonight was, I believe, my sixth visit to Ad-Libs but it was my first time to attend the show at their current location, Mouth, at 2626 Main St. in Deep Ellum. Took my sons (celebrating my 22-year old's birthday) & was delighted to find that the show is as fun, crazy, and full of talent as ever. Thumbs up and extra kudos to their d.j. (can't recall his name) who was back at work after being out on a medical leave for donating a kidney--what a guy! My son received a cornea from a donor seven years ago, and it restored his sight. Thanks Ad-libs for continuing to offer fabulous shows--you guys ROCK! :-)
The funniest improv comedy club in Dallas!
They recently moved from Ross Ave. downtown Dallas. But the new (temporary) club is on Main Street (Deep Ellum). This is a MUST for Dallas peeps! Great ad lib comedy from some of the funniest guys in the Dallas area.
If you're looking for a good time on a Friday or Saturday night - this is the place to go. Great for Date night, out with the boys/girls, family in town, bachlorette party and birthday parties.

History
Established in 1986
Ad-Libs performed it's fist show in the back room of an El Chico Restaurant in Dallas, Texas... the year was 1986.
For the next few years, we bounced around from one crappy venue to another, gaining valuable stage experience and a loyal following.
In 1988, we converted an old warehouse on the east side of downtown Dallas into a cool cabaret style theater. There we entertained more than 650,000 people over the course of 20 years.
Here come the bad guys... Corporate America felt our little corner @ Ross & Routh would better serve Dallas if it was an apartment building, and out we went.
Ad-Libs gives birth to Mouth: Dallas newest entertainment venue... Located just a few blocks east of Dallas on Main Street.
Now in it's 23rd year, Ad-Libs performs weekly public & private shows & various improv classes @ it's sister venue, Mouth.
Most of our talented comedians were brought up through our School of Improv. We offer many different levels of improv and scripted classes.
