Did you talk to the owner and get resolution? Many people go here and have no problem, are you sure it is the alternator? Perhaps there are other problems with your car causing the alternator to fail. There are occasions when a part will fail even if it is new or rebuilt, it can happen to any car, even brand new ones. As someone who spent a couple years in the parts business there have been, albeit rarely, occasions where a shop ended up getting a couple defective parts consecutively. That is beyond the shops control. Call Niki the owner and talk to him, next time I talk to him I'll ask him what the story is and I'll post it.
