Shopping for a new car can be so stressful so I hope my review helps.
I was at another Acura dealership and extremely disgruntled with how I was treated. (I felt victim to, women should always have a man with them when shopping for a car). Frustrated, a friend convinced me to call Acura in Peoria(hesitant b/c of my previous experience at the other dealership and the did not feel like driving out there, live in Scottsdale).
This dealership has managed to create a relaxed atmosphere (although the other employees seemed welcoming as well, my personal experience was with Glen (sales) and Ben (manager). I felt that I was able to let my guard down and enjoy shopping for a car rather than feel stressed and tense.
Instead of being an exhausting ordeal shopping for my MDX (which I love!!!!! it was Enjoyable!!! I left there grateful that they were so great to work with.

Much like everyone else, I had a horrid experience.
I brought my truck in to trade. I had specific variables to meet before coming in and (of course) they promised to meet those guidelines prior to taking the 40+ mile roundtrip visit.
Not so.
They tried with all their might to sell us a trashed Civic (trashed as in rust on door jams, the drivers seat needed additional bolting and the fabric on the interior was coming unglued). No go. Than with all their might to sell me a beautiful Accord, but it is a manual and I don't drive manuals. Than a PT Cruiser, nope... same gas mileage as my truck.
There were other cars that were priced lower than those were, but alas, they weren't available to us for whatever reason.
We were very clear about our specifics about the transaction and test drove a car we loved, but guess what--it didn't meet those guidelines. So you know what we did? We walked out.
We walked out very upset that 2.5 hours of our time was wasted. And I kept looking in the "secure document room" where they were laughing and having a good time... while they wasted mine.
I am glad I didn't purchase here because while we were waiting at the light to leave, the salesperson took one of the cars back to one of their sister stores across the street. He turned left when the light was still red. I felt this was both unprofessional and unsafe.
Won't be back... for anything. -

Wow.
And not in a good way.
Where to start.
We were looking for a car, duh. Acura of Peoria advertised a particular price for a model we wanted, and the salesman said over the phone that they could discount it 10%. We drove to the dealer and took a look. Here our troubles began.
First problem, when we got there after our long drive, and after a test drive of the new car, the price had been inflated by a set of unnecessary and previously undisclosed add ons, and the promised discount was of course nowhere to be found.
So eventually they went through the entire charade, dickering over a few dollars, even sending out the sales manager to close us and after we agreed to a price and terms making us sit for hours waiting for the "finance manager" who even tried to sell us at least a half a dozen other additional high priced high margin and in my opinion useless services including tire insurance.
In my opinion, Acura of Peoria engaged in unethical behavior in offering one price and charging another, engaged in deceptive practices by adding in services and features that we didnt want or ask for and most annoyingly in my opinion engaged in silly high pressure sales tactics. We ended up paying more than we expected, and taking many hours more than required.
Honestly, this was the worst experience buying anything in my entire life. I have spent more on dinner than we spent at Acura of Peoria, but I havent ever taken as much time over a meal in my life.
Acura of Peoria's bad behavior and unpleasant practices illustrate succinctly the popular mythology of why many people are said to distrust car salesmen and hate car dealerships. I never believed such things existed or were possible in business.
For us, in our opinion, there is no reason for us to deal with Acura of Peoria, ever again. If you want my advice, please dont deal with this company. -

My husband and I had the opportunity to visit this dealership while car shopping and we were Very impressed. This dealership has the most professional and knowledgable sales staff that we have encountered. We were assisted by Patrick Aritz and Brijen Dave, they were very focused and had a lot of patience in helping us find what we were looking for. In addition they had the cleanest cars I have seen on any lot. The overall dealership is amazing and well organized. Thank you!

Avoid this dealership. It's just a tip if you have self esteem and dont want random people to insult you and ruin the your special moment when you are buying a car. They lie and scam. Beware. They would want to sell you a bad car and condemn you if you ask any questions.

Avoiding this dealership would be wise.
Its been 3 months since I have purchased my car and I have been going round and round with them over various "strange occurrences" since day one.
A claim that my bank wanted my initial payment upfront was not truthful. I found that out after i paid the payment to the dealership, but they never paid it to my loan amount. The bank was helpful to assure me their actions were inappropriate and untruthful.
When i purchased the car we had to pay $500 for a anti-theft feature they claimed was already "put on" the car. I found out 3 months later i was defrauded when they had never put the theft feature on the car...ever.
They only reason i was able to get all this under control and my money returned was through persistence and insistence.
My experience with them has left me believing that every negative stereotype about car dealerships are true! Stay away, stay away. -

As another review stated, avoiding this dealership would be wise. I will keep this short and sweet, as Yelp is not a website for the publishing of novels. If I could rate this dealership with 0 stars, I would. Yelp, please introduce this feature.
I purchased a brand new Acura TL in April of 2010. The sales manager was incredibly rude to me and treated me poorly because "they were giving me too much on my trade," as if that is my fault and was a malicious act on my part. The finance manager blackmailed me into purchasing a worthless warranty and a clear "shield" protector for the front of my car, stating that if I did not add these two upgrades ($3k mind you) to my loan that he would not push my loan through, it likely wouldn't be approved, and that my interest rate would be sky high. Er, yes sir. Ok. I had been there for nearly 6 hours at this point and needed to leave. I agreed and signed the preliminary paperwork, all the while being asked by the very rude finance manager if I was bored and if I wanted to be there. Are you kidding? I am spending over $30k with you and you ask me these things? But I digress. In the end, the interest rate was NOT what I signed for and was actually MUCH higher. The worst part is that they sold me a car which poured white smoke out the exhaust from day one. When I called the service department to tell them about this, they told me that it was "no big deal and that the car is just burning dirty oil." These are among several issues that I just don't have the energy to type about.
Fast forward to September 2010. I took the TL into my trusty Acura of Tempe for a oil change and mention the smoking issue. Guess what... Long story short, the car was burning oil at an alarming rate and needed a brand new engine. Essentially, Acura of Peoria sold me a lemon. I was able to trade in the car at Acura of Tempe to get a brand new Tech Package TL, so I'm happy, but is the selling of a lemon to a customer really good business practice? Probably not. The worst part of this is that when I phoned Acura of Peoria to let them know of the situation, the GSM Brijen Dave told me that Acura of Tempe was their competition and was lying to me about the car's condition. Right. When I informed him that the car had done this all along and that his service department did nothing to remedy the situation, he told me that Acura of Tempe must have done something to my car in an attempt to gain my business. Yes, that is it. Acura of Tempe knew that my first reaction would be to trade in my broken car and purchase one of their Acuras, albeit the fact that my car was still under factory warranty, everything would be paid for, and I was driving a brand new Acura loaner vehicle. Yep, very crafty, Acura of Tempe.... Brijen Dave then said he would speak with his service director and call me back. Needless to say, I have not received a call back.
I'll be sending a copy of this review to Acura Corporate, but in the meantime I suggest you steer *very* clear of Acura of Peoria.
