I've been taking my Acura here since I moved here, and was finally ready to trade it in for a new one. I pre-coordinated my visit through the Internet department and met with him when I first came in. We did the usual things, test drive, back and forth between the manager on the sale and trade-in price, and came to a number close to what I was looking for.

It really was no pressure, and I then started talking to another manager, Jay Han, who just started at this dealership. Jay was very friendly and personable, and there was no pressure whatsoever while I was there. I left with a number that was close to mine but I wasn't ready to pull the trigger.

After taking a drive down to Acura of Seattle, I was totally turned off and decided to continue negotiating with Jay in Lynnwood. I made a good move. After getting a number that was good for me, I made the deal pretty much over the phone. I was happy, and their team obviously was too, to make a sale.

When I came to pick up the car and do the paperwork, I have to admit that I was thoroughly impressed. Everyone was lax, and the F&I portion went extremely well. the Finance guy was really laid back and never even mentioned the phrase "extended warranty." The only thing he tried to sell was (another word for) the extended warranty and a prepaid maintenance plan. When I politely declined both, he didn't try to push them. He didn't even mention overcoat, undercarriage, or any of the well known tricks. That impressed me.

In the end, I got a great deal on a new Acura and was treated with complete fairness and respect. I will definitely be taking my car here for service (it's between work and home anyway) and I'm glad I made the decision I did. Three days after buying my car I got 3 calls and a thank you card, which kind of gives a personal touch.

The one turn off: as *soon* as the cars come off of the carrier the dealer adds what they call a "protection" package. This includes wheel locks (apparently there have been issues of theft in the parking lot), door edge guards, splash guards, and a trunk tray. None of the last three items have anything to do with theft, but the dealer still adds a $700 second sticker to the car. I think it's *extremely* tacky that Acura does this, and I would not associate this kind of behavior with the luxury brand name. It seems like all the dealers in the area do this so there really is no choice, meaning it's not a dealer "option," it's a dealer "not-option."

I'm highly disappointed with my experience today. And I think today is the day that my relationship ends with Acura of Lynnwood. I used to tell everyone how great this place is and even referred my bf to take his car here for service. Fuck, I was even willing to drive effin' 15 miles and 1/2 hr just to get there. And hell if I could, I would probably give them a zero.

I'm not going to lie, from the time that we call to make the appointment, they were really accommodating and nice--as expected. The service desk was really courteous.

We were provided with a loaner car. It was getting late and dark, we didn't inspect the vehicle for damages [BIG MISTAKE!]. So after doing all the paper work, we were on our way.

The following day, we received a call that the vehicle was ready for pick up. When we got there, the car was not yet washed or vacuum. WTF? After I settle the bill, they were unable to locate our car keys. The receptionist was scrambling around searching for the key. So we hung around for a while, service desk advisor Chuck kept us in the loop of the situation.

Finally, Chuck informed us that it was possible that a technician might have accidentally took our keys home and they are unable to locate him.  And they were going to put us in the same loaner car. It was then that the receptionist magically found our keys.  Chuck asked if we wanted to have our car washed and vacuum, that it would take 20 minutes. So we waited...

When it was done, as Chuck was showing us where our car was parked, a gentlemen came out with an a-hole tone, saying that we can't leave then left with the quickness so at this point, we were all confused. I was asked if I settle the bill yet?? Really, WTF??

But apparently, we were accused of causing a crack on the windshield and now they needed insurance information. Information that they ALREADY had when we filled out the paperwork!  Wow. Apparently, my mistake was not checking the vehicle carefully and now we are ding with this crap.  I should have put my guards up, especially when there was a filtered review from another customer who experienced a similar situation.

And so, this is where we are at, Acura of Lynnwood. 7 years of loyal customer service down the drain. No more recommendations, no more good word of mouth, no more good praises for you...

This is a review only for their service center.  They are very friendly, helpful, and really do seem to be trying to provide the BEST service possible.  This is where I'll plan to bring my TL for service even though I bought my car from Southcenter.  From the initial greeting, to being very attentive to what you need, this place seems to have it all.

Cons?  I thought it was kinda tacky that they changed my license-plate cover from Southcenter to Lynnwood.  But whatever.  Also, after your service, you really get bombarded with calls and emails to "followup" on their service.  That gets pretty annoying.

Just bought my first car from Acura of Lynnwood and I can say that the sales process was better than average but still left a bit an odd taste in my mouth.

I drove in to the dealership in an Acura MDX I was test driving from Kirkland Honda, A salesman came out and picked it apart and said he could beat their deal, give me more for my trade, a better conditioned vehicle and an Acura Certified Warranty up to 100k miles.

I was EXTREMELY skeptical but gave them a couple hours to clean up a trade they took in earlier in the day. A 2009 Acura MDX w/ 30k miles.

When I came back, I was shocked, The MDX they presented was amazing and the condition was perfect. So I filled out a credit applications. Drove my loaner back to Kirkland Honda, picked up my car and returned back to Acura of Lynnwood and completed the deal.

To this day, I am happy with the overall process. Would I shop there again? Yes.

When it comes to the Service Department, the jury is still out. They seem to be a tad bit shady. If you do not questions something that concerns you, they are surely not going to tell you. As my experience grows, I will update this review.

For several years, Acura of Lynnwood did all the work on my car - both scheduled and unanticipated. I think you can call me a satisfied customer:

    * Prompt, helpful and thorough. Friendly, no-attitude staff makes a big difference.

    * Work always came back as promised, and within the estimate provided. I've even had work done for free because they'd discovered that there was some manufacturer advisory that I'd not been aware of.

    * On larger jobs, they glady provide you with a loaner, and I underscore the word "gladly".

    * Loaners are nice, newer Acuras that always make you consider trading up.

    * All the free bottled water, soda and coffee you can drink. Sometimes doughnuts.

    * Free wifi which I've always had trouble connecting to, but since they didn't object to me hijacking one of the ethernet cables (they provide machines for your use also), I don't object to the weird wifi.

Overall, I know I paid a premium by going to a dealer. But in the Wild West that is the automotive industry, how does one put a value on peace of mind?

At Acura of Lynnwood, it seems that is policy to work to get you into the car you want at the price you want. I have learned that you shouldn't be afraid to ask and haggle. They have a great selection of new cars and used cars. I learned that there Internet site is helpful for research before stepping on the lot. All of my interactions with the car dealer have been positive- I would not think twice about recommending Acura of Lynnwood.

Dave Warner, a very warm and kind man, sells cars at Acura of Lynnwood and is eager to satisfy his customers. He is the genuine smiling assertive kind. So If you are in the market for a car and want quality, but a deal, stop by and ask for him.

Usually people tend to be hesitant when taking their car in for service and/or going into one to look at a car in fear of a nasty salesman following your every move, but here at this dealership it's very family oriented. The salesmen are very kind and will not badger you to buy a vehicle. There's no pressure, just honesty and great advice.
When it comes to their service, they do the job. They get everything checked out and finished for you. Along with their fantastic work ethic, the service advisors are hilarious!

So if you're out driving down highway 99 or need a dealership recommendation, I definitely recommend Acura of Lynnwood!

I am very reluctant to go to car dealerships to get my car worked on because they are notorious for overcharging and poor service. After having such great experiences in the Acura of Bellevue, I was skeptical to go anywhere else. But I'm SO glad that I came here instead of somewhere else. I don't mind paying more if it's for quality service...and there's just something that makes me feel a little better about getting my car fixed at Acura than in some hole-in-the-wall garage.

So...my fiance informed me that my alignment was off and that there was something wrong with my brakes. I don't know anything about this stuff, but did notice that when my steering wheel was held straight, my car would veer off to the right. And my brakes were making squeeky sounds which didn't seem good. So I decided to get it checked out.

I called and made an appointment a few days ahead of time. They told me that there were some coupons online to print out since brake replacements can be pricey. They had quoted $200 something and $300 something for front and back breaks which almost sent me into cardiac arrest. And around $75 for the alignment.

I dropped off the car and they said they would call me back in about an hour and a half to let me know the damage and if I'd have to keep my car there. An hour and a half later to the minute, I got a phone call back saying that I should come back and pick up my car. I was in shock. I think I particularly like this place because a lot of places will try to FIND something wrong with your car, even if they don't see something. But they said everything had already been fixed. So I was still a little nervous to see the damage.

Went to pick it up...turns out there was NOTHING wrong with the brakes and they didn't even charge me for the brake inspection! Only the alignment! Which came to around $82 with tax. AWESOME. Definitely made my day!! Everything seems to run well now...apparently there was just some dust in my brakes. I was very impressed with the service that I received here.

Only annoying part is all of the follow-up calls after. One call  would suffice. But then come the survey calls, more follow ups. I wish there was a way to be taken off the call list. I thought it was a LITTLE tacky how they told me in my follow up call that this was a follow up call and that I should mark it on my survey as having received one. I guess they might have had issues with this in the past?

But all in all, great service! I will be back. I'll just make sure to unplug my phone first. :)

I think this would serve as an ongoing journal of my experience with Acura of Lynnwood, since they are likely going to be my servicing dealer for the next few years.

    So far, so good.

The dealership itself is bright, well designed, and very comfortable.  The sales staff greeted me nicely while I had my car in for a simple service.  No pressure at all, it's a good experience typical of most luxury Japanese brands.  I did not buy the car from them (bought it from a friend), but in the future I would certainly consider them.

Onto service.  It's the first time I need any service for my 2004 TSX since I got it in December last year with barely 44k miles on it.  I hardly drive and finally managed 2,400 miles in 8 months!  Time for an oil change.  Unfortunately for me, some idiot decided to lightly key my passenger door a week or so ago as well, and I began to hear some brake noise coming from the wearing mark.  I was also an idiot and I lost a key, these keys are expensive!

I called, made an appointment, and took it in today.  I was greeted by Paul, a friendly rep (by the way, Paul, if you are reading this, you have a great smile, use it more!).  He explained and rehashed what we talked about on the phone and had the guys work on the car.  He made sure that he understood all of my concerns.  The initial service: oil change (plus inspection), new key and programming, and they were going to buff out the scratch for free (yes, free), and they would wash the car.

He told me it would take no more than 2 hours on the phone, so I waited in the waiting area with my notebook and did work.  Free, reasonable coffee and espressos.  Wifi is provided.  That's generally "set" for a techie like me.

Half an hour later he came by and told me that the rear brakes required replacement, prepared with prices and extra time they would need.  I ok-ed it.  And the steering fluid is dirty and low, but I didn't have time to do it (and I kind of disliked the unanticipated expense all of a sudden).  And since this was the first time I went to this dealership, I wanted to see how well they did the other job first.  It's unlikely that the dirty fluid can cause any catastrophic failure at this point, that can wait a little bit.

While I was waiting, one of their staff members Laura dropped by and chitchat a little when she spotted my Wacom tablet.  I think she's going to get one now (should I become a sales guy or something?).  Very friendly, and personable.

Right at around the two-hour point, Laura came by again and told me my car and the invoice were ready.  The ladies at the cashier were charming and friendly, and we chitchat a little more.  Good experience.

The result:  the scratch was buffed out, for free.  The car looks new with the wash (not that it was dirty).  Brakes were done.  Oil change was done.  The engine sounds better immediately.

    The cost:
    Oil change - $43.95
New key & programming - $117.45 ($69.95 for the key alone, ouch)
Rear brakes overhaul with new pads - $207.25

Including everything the bill was $413.73.

I am including the numbers for your reference.

Overall, I am quite pleased.  It's certainly not "cheap", but then the environment, the service, and the experience were all positive.  I will be looking at the brake work later this weekend to check the workmanship.

I am giving them four stars for now, since this was a small job and when they do something extraordinary in the future, I will write updates.  In fact, I think I will write update every time I come here, to give all Yelpers a sense of consistent performance evaluation.

    So far so good.

I can't say enough postive things about Acura of Lynnwood.  I've only worked with their service department, but everyone there is GREAT.

A few weeks ago, my girlfriend brought her RSX in for some routine service.  When she got it back, she noticed it had been scratched by the car wash their (not automated).  There were fine swirls all over the car.  This is not typical of Acura of Lynnwood, so she called Charles, the Service Manager, and he invited her to bring the car back for Acura of Lynnwood to perform an exterior detail to remove the scratches.  After the detail, the car looked PERFECT.  It was like a brand new car!  Charles went above and beyond to make sure our experience was top-notch.

I recommend this service department as the best in the Seattle area.  (I've been to them all.)  Excellent, excellent, excellent.

I purchased a new vehicle from Acura of Lynnwood 4 years ago and wanted so share my experience. They are friendly, hospitable, approachable, and want your business! I had purchased a brand new RSX and never had a smoother transaction! I wish I was going back to an Acura again, but this time I decided to go with a Toyota, I will always be back in the future if I ever purchase an Acura again tho!

Bought a new 2005 RSX here and went back today to test drive an RDX.  The experience in 2005 and the test drive today were both great.  No high pressure, no BS salesmen.  They want to sell you a car, but they have enough restraint to let you make decisions.  For those who absolutely dread car lots, this one is easily tolerable.

On the other hand, spoke with a service rep over the phone about getting 60k service done on my 2005 as well as a simple suspension issue fixed.  I found an official Acura publication that detailed my issue as well as a very minor method to fix it so I asked how much?  Well the 60k service was going to be $450 even though it only involves simple inspection, tire rotation, oil/filter, and interior cabin filter change.  I say no thanks.  When I asked about the suspension and tried repeatedly to reference the Acura publication with the issue... $1400 to replace entire front suspension, because he wouldn't take the time to look up the service note after major prompting on my part.  I'm going elsewhere.

It's a mixed bag here.  I would buy from them, but I wouldn't count on getting appropriate dealer pricing from service.

My experience with Acura of Lynnwood was certainly a positive experience with Anthony Remedios. I found the car that I wanted on Autotrader and gave the dealership a call. I expected some back and forth in terms of negotiations over the phone, but was offered a price that other dealerships couldn't compete with right off the bat. It was to the point where other sales reps from other dealerships told me to buy from Acura of Lynnwood. The lack of haggling to get a good price was great.

Service was very good. I was buying a used TSX and was treated professionally and made very comfortable throughout the purchasing experience. It certainly felt like the car I was purchasing had no relevance on the quality of service I was going to receive which is not the case for all dealerships (new vs used or flagship vs entry level).

There were some hiccups due to the circumstances of my purchase (which is beyond the scope of this review) that I think could have been handled a bit more smoothly/cleanly, but it all worked out in a timely manner and communication was well maintained.

One thing that I was surprised by was that not all of the memory from the car hand been erased (Navigation addresses, phone number memory, calendar appointments) and thought security could have been better.  I provided this feedback to them and hopefully they won't miss this item in the future.

All in all, this experience has been near the top in my car purchasing history and would recommend this dealership to friends and family.

From the start, the person answering the phone knew my name before I told them, which in and of itself was awesome! I was then able to set up an appointment within a couple of days that fit my schedule. I was warmly greeted on this cold and rainy Seattle morning with some much needed coffee and a well warmed loaner TL. The service rep was in touch with me at several points during the day keeping me up on Sheilas' (my car) status. She even remembered her name when I came back to retrieve her later that day. Its personal touches like this that will keep me (and most certainly others) coming back and talking your dealership up to others. I've already had the privilege of extolling the virtues of Acura of Lynnwood to several of my coworkers and friends usually met much chagrin from them as they do not have their own Acuras to take there.
