I went to Acupuncture Together for my first ever acupuncture session in April of 2011 for the everpresent tension in my shoulders and a rash I get on my arms & legs occasionally. Ever since I've gone intermittently--sometimes 2x a month, sometimes a bit longer in between. I'm hooked. No matter what is bothering me (skin, digestion, stress, allergies, and more) I feel a lot better afterward and rarely have to go back for the same issue.
Ashley also does a great job of giving you other tips outside of acupuncture for your various ails.
If you haven't tried acupuncture before, I highly recommend it (obviously). The needles are so tiny, when she put the first few in, if I wasn't watching her I wouldn't have believed she did it. I only felt them in my hands and feet--it was a faint tingling/itching sensation (but nothing I couldn't nap through).
Being in one big room with potentially 5 others has only bothered me on two occasions (one when there was a loud snorer and one when a lady had a bad cough). Most of the time, though, everyone is quiet and respectful and it's easy to relax. It's definitely worth risking the few loud times to save money. -

I simply can't recommend this place enough. I suffer from a rare liver disease, and over the past years, it's become more of an issue as I am now awaiting a transplant. Along with this progression came many negative symptoms.
I had always been interested in looking into acupuncture as a treatment method, but I simply thought that I could never afford the treatments. Fortunately, a friend recommended Acupuncture Together to me. Owner Ashley O'Brian, who has quite possibly the most soothing demeanor you'll ever come across, works you into a group setting of about six people in one room at 15 minute intervals. This way, she can administer more treatments at one time and lower the cost for everyone. Ashley remarked to me that she originally worked in a spa setting when she realized that she herself could not afford the treatments she was offering. She realized something had to change and started the business in a small office on Burnet Rd.
Immediately after the first visit, I noticed a dramatic change in both my energy level and swelling associated with the disease. I'm now 1 1/2 years into weekly treatments, and I can tell you it has made a huge difference in my quality of life. Quite possible, it's the best thing I've ever done to take my health into my own hands! -

I ride Motorcycles and in 2006 I crashed hard and broke the left side of my body. Femur , hip and elbow. When ever a pinched nerve or knot happens as a result. I go right to acupuncture together and its fixed every time. $20 dollars beats the hell out of a doctor or chiropractor and I haven't had to go back for the same issue. THIS WORKS and the staff is kind and mellow. I send all my bruised and broken fellow bikers here and there grateful for it.

I love this place I had had private acupuncture in the past in t a private setting but was kinda scared going here and being in a room with total strangers. I love this place Ashley is amazing. I had some pain in my knee hand and lets just say lots of areas and ever since I started coming here its gradually getting better. I am getting treated for allergies I would seriously get up with a sever breathing problems and although I still have congestion I must say it was nothing like it was 2 months ago where I felt like dying in the morning. Its getting better there is soft meditation music in the background that helps you relax. Although you are in a room with strangers everyone that goes here seems to be very considerate of others and are very friendly.

I had a great experience with Acupuncture Together. It is very affordable, clean, peaceful and I felt that they truly cared about my well being. As soon as I can get back for more treatments (it is not very close to me) I will be back. If you are looking for an afforable intorduction to acupuncture or a way to get treatments regularly consider trying Acupuncture Together.

I was a little scared to go honestly but this place is amazing. They were awesome, very helpful, very knowledgeable. It was very relaxing and just an all around great experience. I'm not big on taking medication for my migraines and this is a great alternative that I can totally afford.
Please do your self a favor and go. -

I LOVE this place! I attend every week!. Ashley (owner) is super knowledgeable and great with clients. She's extremely creative, too. Her art work in the building is really cool! Ashleigh makes you feel at ease about the whole process of acupuncture, needles, etc. She's a GREAT listener. The place is cozy, comfortable and warm. The price is very affordable and it's easy to pay using any method of payment (credit, cash or check). I love their scheduling, too! It is very easy - you can schedule via internet or do it in the office. You even get a email confirmation reminding you of your appointment. And they have a punch card offer so after so many sessions, you get a free one. How cool is that? Getting an appointment any time of the day that works for your schedule is very easy to do! I'd highly recommend Acupuncture Together to anyone!

I recommend Acupuncture Together very highly--I'm convinced that my migraines would not be so much better without weekly treatments. I'm uncomfortable with needles but found that the pleasant setting and Ashley's calm demeanor made the treatments surprisingly easy to bet used to.

I found Acupuncture Together through the Community Acupuncture Network. Was able to make a first appointment in less than 24 hrs. Ashley was very professional and provided an excellent service. I am glad I found them in North Austin area! You choose what to pay from $15-40 per session based on how much you can pay for the session (no questions asked). This is the way community acupuncture works and it makes the services accessible for all.
They also have a convenient online appointment system. -

My friend told me about Acupuncture Together and it has been a love at first poke sort of deal. At the time of my first visit, I had a lot of emotional stress that was effecting my digestion. Ashley was very empathetic and recommended some herbs to go along with my treatment. My stomach felt normal for the first time in months a few days after my first visit. I've continued treatment for stress, allergies, digestion, back pain and other random things and I have always found my treatments to be pleasant and helpful. I still haven't seen anyone but Ashley, but everyone I've met there is very kind. I can't recommend them enough. I brought my dad for a few treatments when he had debilitating back pain and after the first treatment he felt a major positive change. I often times feel guilty about what I can afford to pay because the service I get is worth so much more.

I can breathe through my nose.
I CAN BREATHE THROUGH MY NOSE!
Between the allergies that will one day run me out of Austin and pregnancy rhinitis, I've spent the last 20 weeks as a mouth breather. I saw Ashley this morning and I haven't had to pop a pill since. I'm breathing clearer than I do on decongestants. This is the first time in weeks that my face hasn't hurt.
The office is so nice and relaxing. She listened to everything I had to say. I didn't feel the needles at all. And it isn't cost prohibitive to the people like myself who are putting everyone else's needs first.
I plan on seeing Ashley throughout the rest of my pregnancy and beyond. -

I went to AT for the first time last week and I can't wait to go back. I felt relieved to find an acupuncture clinic that I can actually afford and will be able to continue on a course of treatment with.
The pay structure is great, you pay what you can from $15-$40 ($25-$50 for first time visitors - $10 paperwork fee, I think). There is no pressure to pay more and there is no pressure to buy anything else, she is there to help you heal - that, in it of itself, is relaxing.
When you walk in you put your payment in an envelope and then in a locked box in the waiting room. The treatments are done in a community setting with very comfortable chairs, dim lights, soothing music, and cool artwork on the walls. Although I was the only person during my session it is such a comfortable environment that I fell like I would be just as soothed with the room full of people. If was great to be able to rest for as long as I needed, have some time to myself, oh yeah and get medical help at the same time!
Highly recommended! -

Unbelievable! I can not tell you how many friends I've told about this place since trying it. If you're thinking about getting acupuncture but are on the fence because of the expense, then you no longer have an excuse. Get yourself to the AT website and book and appointment.

This is a really, really nice clinic, owned by a really, really nice person. You can tell that a lot of thought went into the business, and that the same level of care goes into your treatment.
Ashley is very patient, thoughtful, and attentive. For me, feeling like I am being heard is actually one of the toughest things to find in a medical practitioner. And here, I feel at ease knowing that what I am saying is being taken into account!
The space feels creative, modern, and open. The treatments are very comfortable, with blankets, earplugs, neck rolls, and a pager available to make everything as easy and relaxing as possible.
Her website is really useful, and online scheduling is a very smart and helpful feature. It's very easy to find a convenient time to come in.
She recommends chinese herbs, which she doesn't sell. But I think this is almost reassuring because with an old clinic I used to go to, I wasn't sure if the herbs were a ploy... In addition she recommended a pain relieving patch for my knotty muscles that I can just buy at a regular drugstore! Very helpful :)
I feel very grateful to have access to thorough care, which is both easy on my finances and my schedule!
Whether you are new to acupuncture or if you've tried it before, you should definitely try this clinic out! -

Ashley, the owner of Acupuncture Together is such a blessing! She is committed to helping people with their health and wellness and opened up a practice making acupuncture very affordable anywhere between $15-$50...per session..your choice to pay what is feasible for you. I am excited because finally I am able to complete a treatment program (one month consistently) to experience my healing with Acupuncture and then utilize maintenance schedule to KEEP me healthy! Awesome!
