Okay. So. Skip these folks. Immediately pass them by. Do not pass go, do not ask them to clean your carpets.
I've never used them myself, but one late evening around 10:00pm, an Actually Clean van showed up outside of my apartment building to clean the carpets of a neighbor. Their truck let out these horrifically loud grinding sound for about 45 minutes. What cleaning company comes in and clean something at 10:00pm? Seriously? I understand that during the summer months in Iowa City, it can be a time crunch to get all the carpets cleaned in a timely fashion. Also, I admit, I wasn't asleep yet. But I was working on it.
HOWEVER. Myself and many of my other neighbors all agreed these these were jackasses. The company representatives were yelling instructions over the grinding of the truck at one another the entire time. It wasn't okay. It really wasn't okay.
SO, please, please please do not use Actually Clean. They Actually Suck.
