So friendly. All actives are super helpful. The ones in particular are Brea, Chino, and El Segundo. I had to track down this jacket for my boyfriend because he wanted it since December. Since i never got around to it, they had sold out of course. Luckily, the guy at the El Segundo branch was SO helpful and he tracked down the size i needed, had it shipped to Brea so i can pick it up in time for valentines day. Unfortunately it didn't fit my boyfriend. We called the chino location and they called around and said the Norco location had it in stock in the size needed. We drove down to Norco and the guy at the register was SUPER nice and their whole staff was super friendly. Love it. Lifetime customer for sure ;)

    Products & Selection: 3
    Service: 5
    Convenience: 3.5
    Value: 3.5
Bottom Line: It's hard for brick-and-mortar shops to compete with on line these days on price and selection. That's where service comes in. Ben and another guy that was working tonight know how to treat the customer

Products & Selection: They didn't have what i needed tonight thus the 3. 3 isn't bad . It just isn't the best since i didn't get what i came for.

Service: This is where this location shines. First of all I hate going into mx, bike and board shops. Mostly because teenagers, with their attitudes and all. (yes I'm going to be a crotchety old man! did i say "going to be"?) I hate that "look mister I'm doing you a favor" feel i get from a lot of these places. Also, the I'm going to engage you so you don't steal something can be annoying and transparent. I've been to the outlet shop when it was open in Le. A couple people in there made me feel like i was wasting their time.
So even if i need to buy something I wont if i don't get good service. like i always say, if I'm going to spend $ i like it to go to people i like.

Convenience: This location is fine. It's right off the freeway. The only problem is it's not near anything i patronize on a regular basis.

Value: Active itself has a lot of great clothing deals. Most of their gear is priced the same as everyone else. Usually somewhere really close to list price. At the end of the season they have good deals on snow gear tho.

I've been coming here for years and it is always the same. If you come here to buy a certian blouse or shirt you will basically find it here. Everything is pretty organized and clean. The prices of things are basically the same as other similar stores.

Active Ride Shop always has a great selection of what you see in their catalog.  I don't like buying things online or through mail, without seeing it and trying it in a store first, and Active always has a good selection.  The best part of their store is their large inventory of the Active brand gear which is always either cheap or on sale.
