Wow! ActionBooth provided action shots to Yelpers at the recent Two Brothers Roundhouse event, and boy did they get around. If the rest of the room looked empty, it was because everyone was congregated around the Action Booth, waiting in line for their turn to be immortalized forever in the rock 'n' roll hall of flame. And never has a queuing crowd been so entertained, or have photography subjects looked so hot!
The staff brought props (including a Yelp-emblem guitar!) and captured everyone's rock star leaps and bounds perfectly. How the cameraman managed to get coherent shots out of what otherwise would be a blur of limbs, hair and teeth is really a form of sorcery.
I didn't get my photo taken (sad panda), but will I ever hire them if given the slightest chance. Hell, I'd get married if only it meant having them at the reception. -

Whoa! ActionBooth sure did get alot of action at the Elite event last night. I can see why! It makes the dumbest person look like they're cool! HAHA j/k, that's mean.
Anyways, the whole concept of ActionBooth is so rad! I wouldn't mind hiring them on for personal special events, like my wedding, just to capture the awesome moments that would go on!
They even give you tips on how to jump!! lol Yay for ActionBooth! -

Actionbooth is FREAKIN AWESOME!!!! I had never heard of Actionbooth until the last Yelp Elite event. Thank goodness for Elite status =) But seriously, way too much exercise for me. Thank goodness the bright ass light hid all the beads of sweat off my forehead. I could not get enough of the funny poses we were making. Good times. Good times. -

I don't know why it took me so long to try ActionBooth. I know Joe, we've shared a coffee or two on occasion, and I'm a photo whore. They should be prying me away from the ActionBooth.
I finally received my chance! I was a little scared at first, and it took a few tries to get that psycho "I'm jumping!" expression off of my face, but I got the hang of it.
Joe and the crew are great at encouraging newbies to jump, jump for their love, and are great at coming up with new ways to make amazing photos.
The ActionBooth is a great addition to any event. -

These guys totally rock!
Perfect for any event, they have the ability to make everything fun and exciting. It's no surprise their business is expanding so well.
The best part is, only the host pays for the pictures taken so if you happen to attend an event where these guys are set up, you can go online after the event and download your pictures.. for free! I get psyched about the little things in life.

I would do dirty, dirty things to have ActionBooth at my side each day.
Now, I'm generally not considered to be part of the 'marrying kind' demographic but for action booth I'd do just about anything to be in any of their most desirable photo-ops. Today I attended a fakeish (the love was all real, baby) wedding so I cold take part in the ActionBooth awesomeness. It *almost * made me want to get married... till I realized that forever is just a long azz time and why should I subject myself to one person for all eternity in order to get my picture taken when I could just enlist my engaged friend-Os to have Action Booth at their wedding? Enter my freshly engaged, looking for a good time, picture loving BFFF and +1? Yep, that's 3 Fs.
Anyway, after testing out many a photobooth in the area, we (the bestie and I) finally decided on ActionBooth for her wedding. It's perfect for catching not just the few willing to dip into a photo booth, but capturing everyone on the dance floor in the act, and then some. Coming up with different poses or just continuing to hit the flash to get some really great candids will fill your night with endless memories or help you remember the stuff you were too buzzed to have recollection of at the time, when all the photos are posted on the ActionBooth website.

What do you do when your company puts you in charge of their holiday party? Call Actionbooth! Seriously, a photobooth has nothing on these guys.
First off, kudos to Yelp events. Because of them I was introduced to the wonderful photos of ActionBooth. I emailed for a quote and got a response back right away. I was also assured that they would be able to loosen up a bunch of design professionals. What can I say...I was nervous that noone would like it! Joe, the owner, is very on top of things yet laid back, which for a control freak like me is a nice change of pace.
The day of the party, they showed up on time and really got everyone into the pictures. I liked that they had about 3-4 people here at a time to help with printing the pictures, taking the pictures, helping people jump (yes...there really are tricks to making it look right!), etc. It was a success and so many people commented on how unique all the pictures look! We decided to get the unlimited picture printing and I am glad we did. My fridge was looking a little bare, but is now nicely covered up with shots of me fist pumping and jumping till my hearts content!
Joe puts the pictures online right away so everyone can start viewing them. We wanted to have our photo gallery private and Joe said not a problem...he really is flexible with customizing your package. He even gave us a name of a company that did our custom backdrop.
Overall I couldn't have been more pleased and am hoping we have them back for our next holiday party! It was sooo much fun and you get a cool picture everytime! -

Action booth fufills my every need. It doesnt take much to fufill me just a camera,some kick booty gals,and a bomb detonator type remotein my hand.
Action booth through a faux wedding reception that I attended the other night.It was insane! I had so much freaking fun I cant stop talking about it and of course looking at our 200 + pics. Candy and I wanted just a little more camera time so opted for corrdinating outfits that worked out percto for finding us in pics. What a great idea, action booth is,Photobooths are so 6 months ago action booth is the NOW! It like having your own paparazzi following you but only taking pics of me having the most fun ever to be had.
I offically decided that action booth must be at my wedding! So action booth Joe we need to have a chit chat about that next time I see ya.Peace out paparazzi -

One....Two....Three.....
JUMP and SMILE...and still try to look cute....and SHOW YOUR FACE....and PUT YOUR STANK ON IT.
Whew, that took alot from me. It was super fun though. The people are friendly and get the party started with taking pictures themselves and encouraging party patrons to take some as well. When I saw they were going to have a booth, I thought an actual booth. I was mistaken because they just set up in any open space and BOOM...INSTA "booth". The trick is to jump and do something crazy at like the count of 2 1/2. I had a blast!
I wish I would have taken more ActionBooth photos. I really wish I did. So if you are thinking of hiring these guys, make sure you take as many as they would let you to. When will we meet again ActionBooth? -

Obviously I am a fan of ActionBooth (if you haven't noticed my user pictures). First of all, how can you not love action booth?? How many times have you tried to take a picture and catch yourself in the air doing something cool?? I know I have tried a million times with my friends and it never seems to work out right.
With action booth, you'll never have that problem. I was introduced to actionbooth at a YELP event and couldn't get enough!! It's so much fun and you get the coolest pictures!
Not only is it fun and totally awesome, the people who work for actionbooth are super cool, friendly, and basically just the bomb.
Action Booth is perfect for any event.. weddings, parties, dinners, family reunions.. honestly, name it.. and it would work.
I highly recommend jumping with these guys at your next event.. the pictures and the experience is totally worth it! -

What a fun concept! I had a blast during my one and only experience with this "booth". The pictures I took away from the event are simply priceless.

Great time, I've gone to a few events where Actionbooth and their Ninjas have been doing their thing. A great crew and a lot of laughs. Everyone has a good time and there is no pressure.
Jumping pictures abound (if you go to their website you'll see what I'm talking about) and easy to post the pictures from Actionbooths website directly onto your facebook page!
I'm looking forward to the next time I get to Actionbooth! Yes it is a verb too! -

The first time, we just didn't get how to do it, but the workers were nice in explaining the best way.
(Before any comments are made, I know the point is to just move, but for some reason it wasn't looking right)...doesn't matter though, because we came back with a vengence.

I've got one word for Action Booth: Baller!
The Real Events Fake Reasons wedding reception at Delux was a lot of fun. The staff definitely knows how to get the party started and were all pretty friendly.
Endless glasses of champagne? OK! Free gift bag? Yes, please. Plus cool pics of me jumping in the air! Throw some free food in there next time and we'll be BFFs forever. .

This was so much fun! I didn't think I would be interested but when I wandered by and saw so many people having fun I had to jump in too. JUMP.. get it? it was great people watching and our photos are a great souvenir of the night.
I think this would be an amazing addition to a corporate event, birthday party, wedding. What a great wedding party shot!

By far one of the most dynamic event photography companies in Chicago. Although you might look at the idea and think that anyone can come up with it, these guys come with an entourage that cannot be duplicated.
They call themselves 'ninjas' and seek out members of the crowd/event, and bring them over and get everyone involved. I only have seen them at one event, but they drew a huge crowd, and soon had everyone involved. Their energy is contagious as all hell, and the pictures are hilarious. Best part, you can download them free after the event. They say that most of the people involved do it for fun, and you can tell they love it.
If you see them at an event, get involved... you will not regret it. -

Pictures are always fun if you're in a photogenic mood, but even when you're not--these photographers will turn that frown upside down (cheesy but true, and this is SO much better than just saying "cheese"). The basic idea is that, you can't take a photo jumping up in the air without smiling. If it's possible, I'd like to see the cranky proof :-( === :-) Projecting the photos immediately after to the entire bar is also a slick bonus.

WOW!!!, they did an AWESOME job. They very well put together everything went smoothly. Staff did incredible job getting people to try it out. Also, the staff was very helpful when trying to help the people capture what they envisioned, while trying to make them look good. Action Booth, definitely the life of that party.

We have used ActionBooth at 2 of our events now and they have been a hit each time! A fun staff of 'ninjas' encourage all the great action shots. I would highly recommend ActionBooth for any type of event function whether it be corporate, wedding, birthday or even funeral! BING LIFE TO YOUR PARTY!
