Sherman came by today to take a look at our windshield... It got a little ding driving this weekend and we thought we had to fix it ASAP. Turns out we didn't, and Sherman rocked.
Here are the highlights:
1) He offered to come to our house to look at it-- and then did so.
2) He arrived EXACTLY on time. To the minute.
3) He told us a lot about windshield damage and how it happens/doesn't happen. He included pictures to show me exactly what requires repair.
4) He said he works directly with insurance companies, making my life easier.
5) Very friendly and accommodating-- and told us we didn't have to fix our windshield, meaning he was out visiting us for no good reason.
It's pretty great that he just comes to your house, place of employment, wherever you wanna meet to get it done. If our ding progresses to more than what it is now, we'll definitely be giving Sherman a call. -

Super impressed with Action Windshield Repair!
I initially called and spoke with Sherman, who was friendly and kind and wanted to work out the best way for them to get to me location-wise (I was between work and home, on opposite ends of town).
Mark ended up coming to my apartment to fix 2 chips in my windshield. Instead, he found 4 chips (2 that I hadn't even seen!) and fixed all four for just $45!
I was very impressed with the customer service and price. Will definitely be calling them again for windshield repair! -

Action Windshield Repair just stopped by this morning to fix a new crack in my Honda Accord's front windshield. It's owned and operated by a guy named Sherman Jacobs who's been in the business of fixing windshields for the past 13 years. He's a friendly guy and was very accommodating with setting up a time to come by and fix the crack on site. His price of $45 seems very competitive with the other places I called (actually the lowest) and his work was great. I had a 13" long crack in the bottom left (driver side) of my window that sprouted over a weekend while I had left my car at the airport. He stopped it from spreading (drilling an end hole) and then sealed the crack with resin. All in all it was a very smooth process and I'll be sure to recommend him personally to any of my friends who needs work done on their glass.
