One of my favorite bowling alleys. My friend and I make it tradition to eat lunch and bowl here and I've never been disappointed. It was rather empty today and we were confused whether it was open or not. This establishment is always clean and very well organized. They also usually have great deals on weekdays.

$2.50/game and $3.50/shoes. Personally, the shoes are pretty expensive but this bowling is alley makes up for it in other ways.

The late night 1am bowling is now $1.50 per game. This is my normal bowling spot since it's close and the lanes are kept pretty well.

You can say that I'm a regular here on Monday Nights.  My friends & I always try to make an effort to meet up here and do a couple of rounds every Monday.  I think that makes me a FAN of this place.

Why you ask??  Cuz, it's only $2.00/game!!!  I know, CHEAP!!  If you need to rent shoes, it's another $3.50 on top of the $2/games.

My friends that go on other days tell me that they also have "Golden Pin" Tuesdays & Thursdays.  Meaning, if you hit a strike when a Golden Pin is present, then you win a FREE GAME.  Not too sure about the specifics on this deal, but that's another sweet deal to check out.

They have a decent array of beers to choose from too.  $4/imported beer (not bad in price).  Definitely a place to hit up if you want to bowl cheap on decent synthetic lanes.

$3 a game to bowl, plenty of lanes, bright, clean, and a nice computer system to keep track of your scores.  I couldn't ask for anything more.

I love this place.  I used to be a regular on Mondays and Thursdays because they had the special "Golden Pin" deal where if you get a golden pin in front and hit a strike you get a free game.

I think they changed the days to Tuesdays and Thursdays.  On these days you usually pay $2.50 / game.  Action Lanes is really nice because they're usually busy, yet they still manage to get everyone out and bowling without having to wait too long.  The service here is on top of things, so you rarely are waiting for someone to come fix something.

Overall, this place is great because there's plenty of parking, good food, with a bar, and lots of lanes to go bowling at a pretty decent price!

This is my favorite place to bowl.  Occasionally, I'd run into people that I know but that's because this is the only place worth bowling in the surrounding area.  The music is up-to-date and the staff is friendly.  Prices are cheap when you know when to go (Sunday mornings $1/game!).

I've been coming here since high school and no other bowling alley I've been to has topped Action Lanes.

I'm not a big fan of bowling, so once my friends convinced me to go bowling with there here, I can say I was ultimately surprised when I stepped inside.  Based on the exterior of the place and considering what city it's located in, I wasn't expecting much.  But the inside was fairly clean and very well-kept.  It didn't look dirty nor grimy at all.

So two thumbs up from me.

If your into having a good time and like to bowl this is the place to come to. Action Lanes is clean and they actually have good food at their snack bar. They even have ice cream from Fossilman's and they have a bar for you beer lovers. On certain days they have kareoke and if you have a birthday they can accomodate you and your party. Now if you want to play the arcade they have a small room for that.  If you need a bowling ball mended or you need to purchase a new one you can swing by the pro shop and they have a variety of balls they recommend and a special for new bowers.

I come here all the time because they are friendly and courteous and I always have a good time bowling with friends.

not much at the bar.  just beer, wine, and smirnoff ice.  smirnoff makes me a bit gaseous.

you can't edit names at your lane...actually there are no controls at your lane at all.  you have to submit the names to the front when your purchase your games, so you better make sure you spell everything correctly!

they don't play music when leagues are goin on.  is that normal?

I come here every Wed, well I try at least every wed. Anyhow the people there are pretty friendly. The lanes are clean and so are the tables. Usually there's someone walking around removing unused balls and cleaning your table if its dirty. There's a lovely discount on Wed nights 2.25 after 9pm. Since its open late til 12/1 am I have plenty of time to play.
The bartender is really nice. Get to know him if you drink alot. The food service has always been on my good side, no complaints there. And the girl at the shoe rental cashier is sometimes friendly.
FYI: Since its the summer Wed nights can be packed cause there's two leagues that plays until 11pm.

I suck at bowling. My gf beat me 145-100. Actually that has been my best score since I could remember. Anywho, I like this place because the lanes are in good condition and like Lee, the food is pretty good. I had a hot dog and she had a personal size pan pizza. Way better than other poisonous bowling food. The music was not that loud and the staff are very accomodating. I highly recommend going to this place. Awesome.

Even on a Wednesday night, it was pretty busy! Seems popular because it opens late until 1am, the lanes are shiny and new looking. My shoes are clean, odorfree, and the laces were intact unlike many places I've been to. My lane did malfunction and the score was messed up. Sometimes someone received an unearned strike or spare, an extra frame, or a loss turn. Depending on the luck of your draw, it might not be such a bad thing. The problem was the staff, though not unfriendly, didn't always seem to know how to remedy the scoring problem or the lane malfunctions.

Regardless, I would definitely come back here again. Clean shoes and the hope that I could probably score a strike I didn't deserve is enough incentive.

This is by far the best bowling alley in the area. I had a blast last weekend bowling buzzed here, haha...Their snack bar is actually good, unlike other bowling places - that's a huge plus!! Parking is great, staff is helpful, music is up-to-date. I think I'm addicted to bowling now. O yea, and they have fosselmen's ice cream too; you know, that famous ice cream place that they have in Alhambra.

I like this place. It is very standard but compares to other places in the area. This is not bad and it is cheap too! Service is okay, well rather more, whatever.

Usually come here on friday nights with my friends just to meet up relax and have a nice bowling game or 2, they have good specials too, most of the time 2$ for a game!  Sometimes its VERY VERY crowded though, not that its bad but not such a bad thing if you like being around people. Monday mornings are mainly old people but its SOO empty, its nice to just be there with A friend or someone your close with just to relax.

this bowling alley isn't all that bad then what others have to say about it, pretty decent cheap. but crowded on days but its not a bad thing if you get bored bowling you can go around and meet new people or just simply go into the game room and play your arcades, not only that but they got a food place in there and a bar. great food :]

The local-nearest alley around my area. Lanes are well-maintained, atmosphere is nice, the shoe rentals and house balls are okay. Fairly newer alley than the others in the area. Prices moderate. I'd go to this alley for bowling than any other place.
