For a modest-sized hardware store, they stock quite a wide array of products. But their best feature is the staff. I'm usually greeted when I enter, and it's always easy to find someone who's not only friendly but also knows a tremendous amount about hardware in general and about the store's inventory in particular. Home Depot and Lowe's have their functions in life, but for basic hardware needs, give me a place like Action Hardware every time.
