The first thing we saw at the Yelp Seven-Tease event was the Flipbook booth. We were dying for a glass of wine and the line was long so we were contemplating skipping out and just getting our drink on. We were SO glad we waited!
We watched a bunch of others ahead of us and the guys were very helpful in assisting everyone with props and the timing of their 7 second video. By the time we got up there, we were ready to rock and roll! The books took about 5 minutes to print and bind and we were on our way to our glass of wine.
Well worth the wait!! Our books came out awesome! We must have flipped through them a hundred times by the end of the night. Actually, we loved them SO much that my bff took hers on her African safari and I took mine to Aruba and Italy this summer so that we could remember each other. So, your flip books have been around the world!!
Thank you so much for everything flipbook! I'm sure it won't be our last run in so I'll have my next 7 second video planned well in advance! -

BEST PARTY FAVOR EVER!
Having Action Flipbooks at an event guarantees that NO ONE will be bored. Matthew and his crew are so much fun, and are amazing to work with - they're such pros! They are lightning fast with turnaround too. At the event, they will bust out flipbooks in a matter or minutes, and they put together a video montage of everyone's scenes and upload it onto Facebook with a quickness!
They provide fun props to use, and are great about directing your 7-second scene as well. Their green screen is awesome if you want to step it up a notch and include an animated background in your video.
Photobooths are always a nice touch to any event, but photos can be so static. Flipbooks provide hours of entertainment. Be unique and get these guys to your next party or wedding - your guests will LOVE them! -

I can't believe there are so few reviews for Action Flipbooks, considering how many Yelpers have enjoyed their services! Sure, it's kind of a wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am experience--over in 7 seconds. But talk about instant gratification! And they make you want to come back for more. I know I came twice--at the Seven-Tease YEE and again at the '80s Old Skool Prom.
What? Oh, get your mind out of the gutter! These guys make FLIPBOOKS! You know, those little books that you thumb through so fast that the images almost come to life as an action shot. You strike a pose or two, or do whatever you want with your 7 seconds of fame in front of their video camera, and just minutes later you're handed your own personal Action Flipbook!
It may be silly, but it's so much fun! The guys at our events were incredibly friendly and patient. Even when our group of 10 wanted to do a conga line at the Seven-Tease YEE, they accommodated us without fuss and even encouraged our shenanigans. They suggested that we break into two groups but filmed us continuously so we had 5 people in each flipbook. Now we're known as the conga crew--and they let us conga again at the Prom YEE.
If you have an event coming up, I highly recommend hiring Action Flipbooks to fulfill your 7-second fantasies. You'll definitely leave satisfied and happy, with a great memento of your time together.

YEs yes yes ... yes. YES. Hello Action Flipbooks. You Rock. Whoever came up with this idea, you rock. If I could buy you a drink ... okay let's not go there.
I honestly have not had this much fun doing something in a long time. As you already guessed, yes this was at the Yelp SV event and what an event it was! Regardless, my gf and I did not know what to do, the staff helped us with an idea and it turned out great. They have props and signs there for you so you don't need too much creativity to make up something fun and entertaining.
I saw so many awesome flipbooks! Also, this is SUCH a great party favor idea as someone had mentioned. I wish I had some huge occasion to celebrate soon if only as an excuse to get them out here again. I LOVE Action Flipbooks!

Flipbooks are awesome! The first time I experienced Flipbooks was at the Yelp Seven-tease event at La Fondue. It was so much fun - we weren't sure what to do in front of the camera, but they directed us and got some great moves on paper.
The people of Flipbooks are super friendly and put up with the Yelpers' shenanigans during their 7 seconds in front of the camera.
If you have any questions for them, their customer service goes above and beyond, either through email or phone.
When my friends start getting married (yes, you will, trust me!) I'm going to recommend them to use Flipbooks at the wedding reception! -

I can always depend on Julie K to help me with reviews I should be writing... and I definitely should be writing one for Action Flipbooks. These guys are awesome and they are able to put up with a 10-15 person train/ their shinanigans. They did multiple takes with our large group to ensure that everyone was able to get face time.
Flipbooks.. I remember when I was little I used to make a mini flip book with the corners of my worksheet packets.... these guys take live film and within minutes have a cute little flipbook with you dancing, congo lining, kissing or dropping it like its hawt.
Thank you Yelp for introducing me to this awesome group and thank you Action Flipbooks for the awesome favors for numerous YEEs (I got mine at the La Fondue event) -

Amazing idea! Amazing company! Amazing people who make these cool flip books possible!
I was able to try it out at the Yelp Seven-Tease event held at La Fondue in Saratoga, CA and I wanted to say that I absolutely LOVE these flipbooks! They are really neat and fun to have! Really brings you back to your childhood when you're doing your little 7-second video and then VOILA.. a nifty flipbook for you to bring home!
I'm definitely going to have this at my wedding! :) Thank you guys again for bringing this wonderful idea into a reality! Now everyone can make their special event extra fun and memorable with these cool flipbooks from Action Flipbooks!! -

This company was at the yelp event: Yelp Seven-Tease at La Fondue in Saratoga, CA. They made all the guests flip books for FREE. You got 7 seconds of action recorded that were turned into a flip book!
Both employees were so nice and patient. I couldn't think of an action to do, and neither could my hubby. So, they had me use a boa as a prop and my fiance reeled me up, we kissed and held up a sign that said "TRUE LOVE," and it came out AWESOME.
I am so satisfied, I would definitely hire them for a professional job! -

oohhh...I just love the flipbook you made for me during the Yelp Halloween Bash last nite. I was the Dancing Machine =) and you captured all my Disco Dance moves coz I am the Disco Diva hehehehe

They provided a phenomenal job taking care of everyone at the Yelp Seven-Tease event held at La Fondue in Saratoga, CA. The flip books they was awesome and my fiance absolutely loves it. With our flip book the guy came up with the idea. They will pitch you ideas if you weren't sure what to do and retake it if you didn't like it. They also had props and signs if you wanted to use them.
They were energetic and kept everyone excited about the flip books with a 2 man crew. You do 7 seconds of whatever you want in front of the camera and after that you flip book will be ready within 5 minutes.
Service is amazing and they also do wedding. The parent company of this flip book company is Matthew Weddings.

Saw these guys at a Yelp Elite event in Saratoga, CA.
My Format: Price, Atmosphere, Selection (of products), Customer service, and Final thoughts.
Price. (5 Stars) As it was a free event, yea..... FREE!!! Awesome :-P
Atmosphere. (5 Stars) They explained what to do and how to do it but left the creativity to you. If you didn't have an idea of what you wanted to do they offered suggestions and props to help.
Selection. (4 Stars) As there was only one product this is kind of mute but one deduction because the flip books aren't quite full color. Kind of a monotone brown and white. Other than that their product is fun and a great way to make a memory last.
Customer Service. (5 Stars) Friendly, informative, and helpful if you don't have an idea in mind.
Final Thoughts - What a great new spin on such an old concept. I use to make them when I was a kid but with the help of a computer, motion capture camera, and a custom built printer it has revitalized a playful memory from my youth turning it into a great ice breaker for parties and events.

I first saw action flipbooks at the yelp elite halloween party and was totally blown away. those little action flipbook these guys make are a definitely must for any memorable event. the 7 second video they capture makes a little booklet full of pictures, what better way to capture a fun moment in a little memorabilia that contain pictures of you and your friends in action!? these flipbooks are the coolest little things ever! and the people from action flipbooks are very friendly as well.

Byebye photo booth, hello Action Flipbooks! I wish all parties have one of these. You know what would make this even cooler? Having all the photos/video archived on the website so we can purchase additional flipbooks online.

I was able to check out Action Flipbooks at the SV Yelp Elite event. What an awesome service and idea! They had a table of props and the camera guy was there to help you with your 'action' ideas and cue your video. I loved the props and signs and it was fun watching everyone come up with their little dances and skits that were turned into the crafty little photo books. Within 5 minutes we had our portable little flip book printed and bound with the SV Yelp cover. It was such a novel take away from the party - I can't wait to share it with friends. And with some big events approaching I hope that I can make use of their service soon!

What a great concept! First time I heard or even seen it was at one of the YELP SV event. At first, no clue what to do since I was expecting just a photo booth not a live action booth. Great part about is the staff gave ideas and props to help you out so you're not standing there lookng all lost, although that could be a good action flipbook. haha

These guys were at the Yelp! East Bay Prom and they really made an impression. Great idea and an awesome customized favor that I got to take home. They were organized and fast. You didn't have to wait long at all for your book to be printed and trimmed and stapled. I will definitely want them for my next big party.

This is an excellent idea and a GREAT party favor for all of your guests. The staff was really fun and they worked with you to create a funny 7 second skit. The book you get is pretty durable too.

What an awesome take on party favors! They take a 7 second clip of you and turn it into a action flipbook. The two guys helping to record and put together the books were very nice. If you don't have any clue on what to do, they definitely help with ideas. I thought this was a fun and unique experience!
