Review from Amaliya L.
Chicago, IL
This little puppet and book store is truly amazing. They feature the complete line of Folkmanis Puppets. Every single product that they carry is carefully chosen. From finger puppets, to large scale, books, hats etc...it truly captures your imagination. I loved how incredibly child friendly this store was. They allow your child to explore, touch, and play. I found the most adorable book that my son could not put down and wanted read to him over and over, "I love you Stinky Face."
The shopowner was one of the many kind and endearing people that we met on Whidbey Island.

History
Established in 1989
Act II Books and Puppets was started as a bookstore in Kennewick WA in 1989. We opened our online store in 1995 and moved our store front to Langley WA in 2006 were we have a shop at 111 Anthes Street on Whidbey Island, just north of Seattle Washington. We feature the complete line of Folkmanis puppets matched with children's books and have hundreds of possible combinations. We also carry children's audiobooks and have a room upstairs in our store with about 100 dressup and costume hats in kids and adult sizes. Visit this unique Whidbey Island store or our online store for a truely wonderful experience for teachers, home schoolers and puppeteers.
Meet the Business Owner: Tess G.
Tess has been in the book business for over 25 years. She started working in bookselling at B Dalton Booksellers in Kennewick WA and rose to be store manager for several years. After opening her store in Kennewick she would feature a few Folkmanis puppets with books in her children's bookstore. As time progressed, she added more and more puppets until the complete line of puppets was carried and had books matched with them in the store and onlline. Her book selections are made to ensure that there is an age appropriate book for the puppets whether it is a board book for the little finger puppets, a hardcover book to be treasured on its own or a softcover book to go with a larger puppet for children's reading and entertainment.
