Odd location and was eerily empty when I went with my family. They told me they had been there for decades. The food really did hit the spot. I love lamb and it was juicy, abundant, and the sides were fresh.
I'd definitely go again. -

Simply put, some really amazing Greek food. Seriously rivals the greek food in Greektown, Detroit and I didn't think it could get much better than that. Also, they serve desserts from Shatilla bakery in Dearborn, MI which is definitely a plus!
The food takes a little while to come to the table but it is SO worth the wait! -

Don't waste your calories, money or time at this greasy, cheesy restaurant. I haven't been to Greece but I am quite certain they would be mortified to know this is a representation of their country's cuisine. I had 2 bites of a soggy, flavorless gyro and bland steamed vegetables. I had to leave and get a lunch @ another restaurant near by to erase the taste and memory from that place. I have never disliked a restaurant more.

The Athenian chicken platter is great. The hummus is tasty and the service is pretty good. You can call them and find out the nights they have belly dancing.

truly the best greek food in greenville, and throw in some excellent italian, subs, and pizza for diversity. been going for years, and it only gets better. and don't be fooled by the other acropolis restaurants in greenville...there is no comparison.
