This place has hands DOWN!!!! the very best gyro I have ever had. Last week while waiting for my dog to get done with surgery (and that's all I could think about) poor guy, anyways, stopped in for some peace and quiet and this place looked like a good stop. Ordered the beef gyro with greek salad and quickly was IN LOVE! I have been back three more times and got my kids, boyfriend and brother quickly hooked on it. If I didn't have the lap band I could have eaten all of it, instead, my boyfriend gets lucky and gets about 90% of mine when he's done with his. Even the salad is amazing. Very fresh veggies and OMG, I'm getting excited thinking about one right now!

I was just in Greece(the real country) this spring for the first time and let me just say Acropolis Pizza &Pasta in Everett is EXACTLY like the real food there! I am thrilled to have a place so close to me with excellent authentic greek food!
I'm not a fan of their pizza, bc I'm a NYC/Naples, Italy pizza type lover but their gyros and greek salads are the BEST !!!!! -

We've been to Acropolis many many times. The food is delicious! Try any of the grinders or the baked lasagna and you won't be sorry :)

Best Pizza I ever had! Seriously! It is in between a Chicago Style and hand tossed pizza. Not too thick/heavy or thin and they didn't skimp on the toppings at all. The perfect crispy pan crust and the cheese was amazing.
When the server brought the pizza to our table, I regretted not having a camera in my purse. The cheese on top had a thin nicely broiled and golden top and since it came sliced, there were creamy cheese melting and gooe-ing out from underneath the toasted cheese on top. It looked like a saganaki flaming (Greek Opa) cheese on top or kinda like creme brulee - you have that nice flamed cheese crust. The toppings were underneath the cheese and they were generous.
I've traveled a lot and this by far is the best I've ever had. Perfect crust, perfect cheese, perfect amount of toppings (not to mention the quality of the meats and veggies) and the perfect amount of red sauce. -

All things considered, this place just does the job. Good but not great food. Fast service. Reasonably priced. Decent location.
Doesn't get 5 stars because it's not over the top fantastic, but it's good. Pretty damn good. I've had the grinders and the baked spaghetti. I DEFINITELY reccomend the latter with meatballs. It sounds simple, but baked spaghetti when it's done right is really tasty. Came right out of the oven roasting hot, (beats the hell out of ice cold, don't mind waiting for it to cool down) and stayed hot the entire time. Place is rarely crowded, easy to get a table, and they have fast takeout service as well. I'll come back for sure. -

Acropolis is the place to go for a quick lunch in South Everett if you're looking for good Italian fare and some old fashioned peace and quiet.
Their half-order of lasagna for lunch rich and tasty and at a price that is more than reasonable for the portion size. The first time I ever ordered it I thought the server got my order wrong and gave me the diner-sized portion. It's actually a lot of food for the price and I prefer it over the other lunch special of a half-order of baked spaghetti. Not that there was anything wrong with the baked spaghetti. I've just always found the quality of the lasagna as a good indicator of the rest of an establishment's fare--and in that regards, Acropolis does it well.
Have you ever gone to a large restaurant chain for lunch and just wished that the place wasn't so loud? That's another reason I go to Acropolis--it's not an Olive Garden or a Macaroni Grill. The pace is relaxed and the service--while prompt--isn't rushed. Sometimes you're at a restaurant and just feel like the server's too busy to really care about your needs. Not so at Acropolis.
It really is a combination of the food, the prices, the service, and the atmosphere that makes me come back to Acropolis over some of the other restaurants in the area. Glad I found them on Facebook too--though make sure you search on "Acropolis Pizza & Pasta" and check the address--there's a lot of places named Acropolis on Facebook. -

Whodathunk?
At a place called the Acropolis, I had a GRINDER! And a good one at that.
For those of you who aren't already humming the tune to "Hoagies n Grinders" by Adam Sandler circa 1992, a grinder is a sandwich.
I specially ordered mine, which was great because I was inspired by their menu to go a little nuts and ask for a sandwich off the menu. As a fan of sandwiches in general I was hoping for some serious variety in their toppings list. Here's what I saw (and ordered.)
-pepperoni
-salami
-turkey
-lettuce
-tomatoes
-black olives
-onions
-cheese
-lettuce
-salt
-jalapenos
-green peppers
-ground pepper
-oil & vinegar
The serving size was HUGE! My sandwich was actually cut in half and it fed two people in total. Yummers.
I hear their pizza/pasta is great - but I definitely recommend giving the sandwiches a shot!Listed in: Best Pizza in Seattle

Came back as intended. Have not yet tried the grinders that others on Yelp has raved about as I enjoy their pasta too much. I wanted to add that their bleu cheese dressing is made in-house. Which is kind of a disappointment as I was hoping to find it in a local store and make it a staple in my refrigerator.

Go for the pasta. WOW!!!
I tried this place last week for some pasta. I had manicotti w/ meat sauce and it was excellent. It was some of the best pasta I've had in a long time. To top it off, the meal was only $13 or so. The frosty glasses for beer were a nice touch too. -

This is one of those places that looks quite small and unassuming from the outside, and is in a pretty generic location surrounded by fast food chains and gas stations. I wasn't expecting much.
The first thing that struck me was how clean the place was. Inside it is neat, tidy, and quite roomy and inviting. We ordered gyros and Greek salad, both of which were tasty and filling.
Service was good, and I would definitely go back to try their pasta. -

This is a common lunch stop for myself and most of those i work with. The grinders are what i would recommend.
Vegetarian grinder plus pastrami, really can't go wrong with that.
The gyros arn't bad either.
Good service, decent price, worth a try. -

ooohhh Beef Gyro!! YYYeeeeuuummm
a friend of mine and I accidentally stumbled upon this place. We ended up coming back for lunch several times in one week. I don't know why they were as slow as they were, the gyro's are amazing.
The waitress and the cook were very friendly and the place has a warm inviting atmosphere.
Whenever I go back now I get a big smile, very prompt service and of course wonderful Gyro.
I haven't had anything else there yet but I strongly recommend the Gyro -

A typical pizza joint: good pie, great grinders, Denny's esque atmosphere, seemingly family owned, mostly clean, warm service.

Try the Canadian bacon grinder....I used to get it about 30 years ago at a location in Kirkland that was somehow owned by the same family and I just tried it here--it tastes exactly the same! Yes, this place is next to a crummy 7-11 in a somewhat crummy strip mall on the corner. Don't be fooled. It ROCKS!!! p.s. if you're not a huge fan of mayo, ask them to go light and you'll love it. I went back today for another one and discovered they're closed on Sundays (fyi).
