Can you think of a dumber name ?
I can imagine the owner(s) wracking their brains out trying to come up with a great new business name.They couldve used classics such as Great Wall, Express, Golden, Dragon, Imperial, Lotus, Jade, Wok, Panda, Dynasty, Happy, etc etc, all tell tale signs of a typical Chinese greasy spoon.
Shit, they couldve named it after their kids or a movie star! I'd feel better walking into a " Jet Li's Buffet " or " Johnny Wangs Eats " than ACME BUFFET. hahaha. Can you say Looney Tunes ?
This used to be East Buffet and that name was kinda dumb too but at least it pointed out the fact that the food is from the East ! I think thats what they were going for but I could be wrong.
They do offer hot pot for dinner so thats their saving grace but c'mon.
Trust me, this buffet is just like any other Chinese buffet, which isnt saying much. ACME BUFFET = GENERIC FOOD.
Come here for quantity, not quality people. -
