Review from Judy M.
Went here Friday for my hubby and friend's bday. Got here right about 7, and surprisingly we got a lane right away.
This place confuses my brain. It's really clean, even the restrooms. The food and wait staff are above average for a bowling alley.
The balls were plentiful, and I wasn't afraid of putting my feet in the shoes.
Costs a little more, but hey, for the premium, you don't leave with athlete's feet. -

Since I live in the south end and Bellevue/Seattle are far drives, this place is as good as it gets!
Bowling... bar... great food... arcade... wonderful list of fruity girly alcohol drinks... pool/billiards... "hip" fresh atmosphere... and more bowling!
I don't know how family friendly it is though, especially on a Friday night...
Good for first dates, hanging out with friends, after-work with co-workers, the "kick-it" spot, Friday night date with hubby, etc. -
Review from Nick B.
This place is superb as far as I'm concerned. The waitstaff was top-notch (we had a special area reserved for us for a birthday party). Waitresses were always around to refill and take alcoholic beverage requests.
The bowling was fun and the best part of all was that it was pretty clean. I had the mozarella sticks which were excellent! We watched some of a UW game at the bar after bowling and that place was also pretty top notch.
The only factor keeping this from being a 5 star place is the price. We paid $30/person for a bowling package which was about 2 hrs of bowling. Oh well, it was worth it! -

This time my review is for the grub... and they do know how to put some grub together!
I love, love, love that their menu offers turkey burger options with any of their burgers! Not many places that serve up food provide this option, and I respond with pleasant alertedness when it does!
I chose one of their many burger options with turkey. I am happy to report the turkey tasted fresh, made to order which is always another great perk!
I really enjoyed the diversity of other food items on their menu. My party that I was with ordered some of their appetizers, which were very good portions (more like meals that starters)!
I'm eyeing the mac and cheese next =D1 Previous Review: Show all »

Located right next to Southcenter Mall, this is a great venue for bowling! The location is clean (including the shoes!), the service is friendly and the staff is fun and personable. The food service to the bowling lanes is quick, efficent and tasty.
This is by far one of the nicest bowling alleys in town and is very large in size. Recommend this great location! -

I concur with Jon M. on this one. On weekends you want to get there early! Went here last night (Saturday) & it was suuuuuuper BUSY! & we had 12 people so we asked for 2 lanes, they said that by the time they could give us a lane they would be closed.
So we had a couple of drinks at the bar before figuring out our Plan B which was to go check out if TechCity had any lanes open (wait for that review!) I got some Jaegarbombs which they already "bomb" for you. So you just get an already mixed Jaegerbomb & it was warm =/ so downing it was hard.
The facility & the restrooms were suuuuuper clean! So I will definitely come back to give it another try. Oh BTW; you can't reserve lanes so it's pretty much a first come, first served basis.
They also have an arcade that I really didn't get to check out but seemed small from when I went to go to the restrooms. & they have pool tables that you see when you first walk in. It's soooo open, the atmosphere is so welcoming to having a good time [=
I'll be updating my review on this when I head back. -

Not sure why I havn't written a review for this place yet considering that I've been here quite a few times since my teenage years. Let's just say this place draws a pretty interesting crowd that requires police cars to surveillance the premise every Friday and Saturday night. Nonetheless the inside has pretty much everything from bowling lanes, good music, pretty good food, fast service, billiard tables, huge bar area....etc. There is even a game room on the left side corner. Nice place to come and kick it with friends on the weekends. Prices are fairly decent as well! For a place that offers so much it doesn't price at ridiculous rates like lucky strike.

I definitely understand why Daren loves this place.
My firstborn recently invited me along to a Sakura-con staff party held here Halloween weekend. (I likely am spelling Sakura-con incorrectly, which should give you an indication just how "into" anime I am)
Not one to say no to quality time with the man-child OR free bowling and food, I readily said yes to his invite.
The event was in the "private lane" area, which I liked SO much better than the one at that fancy place in Bellevue (Lucky Strike? which makes me think of cigarettes).
Fun lighting, ample lanes, great sound system, pretty decent food (it was all "Italian": pizza, breadsticks, salads, and pasta)
Since our private event was "all ages", there was no alcohol service inside. I do not know if that was due to the event specifics or if that is the norm. If it is, that would be a bummer.
I did make sure to visit the bar once. I could only handle so much anime chatter before I needed to clear my head (and perhaps go google WTF they were talking about on my phone). I was super pleased to see they have daily drink specials for $5 and the feature that night was Long Islands.
Overall, I found the entire place to be well set up, well staffed, clean, fun and big enough for large private events, a league night, and a pool tourney all on the same evening.Listed in: For the kidlets, Get off your GD couch!

My family and I have chosen ACME Bowling in Tukwila for a number of our get-togethers. Every time we've organized an event, the reservation staff has been incredibly professional helping us decide the best party package that suits our group.
Additionally, the staff at ACME Bowling has always been kind, courteous and professional. I will continue to choose ACME for future events and would encourage others the same that are looking for fun, family-friendly entertainment! -

This review is mostly based on the context of our visit and shouldn't be viewed as a review of Acme as a whole.
I set up a bowling night for my family for last Friday and the set up process was great. We reserved a package including shoe rental, appetizers, reserved lanes, etc. and I'm glad we did because this place was BUSY! (we had to reserve a package with food since that's the only way you're sure to get a lane).
The food was very delicious and our server was really great. Two issues though:
1. The total price was very very expensive. With taxes and automatic gratuity added in, it came out to about $400 for 10 people and 2 hours of bowling (with the extras I mentioned above). Once in a while is fine but just be aware that you'll be paying top dollar for the experience.
2. The biggest problem I had was with the super raunchy music videos being played. We're not overly conservative and content only with Lassie clips on loop but I was pretty surprised to see Rhianna in bondage gear and ladies dancing around in thongs on the big screen next to the lanes. It was unavoidable and super awkward since my party included everyone from my parents down to my 12 year old cousin.
I'd definitely go back to Acme but I'd go with my friends so we don't have to worry 'Omg, did my middle school cousin just see simulated fellatio with her mom standing right there?!'
Fun atmosphere, good drinks, good food, classy bowling. -
Review from Kayla s.
This place is like brand spanking new. The shoes are nice and not dingy. They have a bar area, an arcade, private bowling lanes with blacklights. And it is pretty cheap. $3 a game during the day and $5 at night plus $8 for shoes I think.
I came here with my co-workers for my boss's last day and we all had a blast especially since NO ONE was in there on a Friday at 2pm.
What I liked though is they had servers walking around and coming to your lane, taking drink and food orders. I was just finishing my beer when the waitress came up and asked if I wanted another. Now that is what I call service!Listed in: So Much More Room For…

Busy. Very busy, especially on the weekends. To the point where you may not get to bowl unless you want to wait 2 hours.
Went here on what was supposed to be an awesome date, filled with bowling and booze. It was just booze. Not complaining about that, though.
Nice bowling alley, though. Much cleaner than a lot of alleys I've been to. The shoes don't even feel that gross to put on! Hooray for newer things! -

Came to meet up some friends to watch a game. Not a bad place for some drinks and some food. Had the Classic Burger dip. Burger was pretty good. Probably should have opted for one of the other burgers. It was on a nice baguette and the au ju was a bit salty for my taste.

It has been awhile since I've gone to Acme, simply because I've had a lot of bad experiences with their wait staff in restaurant along with the place being way over priced. I'm glad I took some breathing time away as it has since improved.
We came here for my cousin's going away party on a Tuesday night. It was great! We all managed to get there around 5 and it was Happy Hour in their bar. So my boyfriend and I ordered about 4-5 dishes off their Happy Hour menu. If you saw us, you'd probably think we haven't ate for days. We ordered their sliders, flatbread, garlic fries... all so good!
Then we went bowling. For going on a weekday, we didn't have to wait for lanes nor did we have to pay very much. -
Review from Daren D.
Almost 6 years and going strong. I've done the Early Morning Weekend Special since they first opened and it's always pretty good. Select random pinsetters occasionally have the rare hiccup, the new Pro Shop is darn nice, food is consistently decent (sometimes more). Rob at the front desk and Ryan at the bar always remember me, which is cool. Same goes to some old league buddies from few years back and other weekend regulars.
I'd be nice to see certain equipment upgrades in the future and address the lengthy flush cycles in the restroom (alert: money-saving OCD showing, ha!).
If you've been around bowling, like me, if you don't want retro, like Hi-line or Skyway, nor Lucky Strike or Big Al's (down south), this is a happy medium.
In other news, driving here can save you 2 trips to 2 awesome venues: ACME Bowl (of course) AND iFly Indoor Skydiving (opening soon) next door!Listed in: Bowling Alleys, D's Random Favorites

If it wasn't so far from where we live, I'd come here a lot more often.
Acme is so open and fun. Not as snooty or intimidating as Lucky Strike in Bellevue is. Whether it be billiards or bowling, it's a fun place to hang out.
Happy Hour in the bar is a great deal, and the food's not bad.
Seven10 Lounge is perfect for a private party.
I've had a birthday party in The Alley, and Acme's very accomodating. The waitstaff is usually on the sidelines ready and waiting for orders. -

celebrated my son's 19th birthday at Acme and was not disappointed. His friends had fun bowling a couple games and enjoyed the food (pizzas, nachos, wings, sliders... all yummy). We had a personal server who was on top of everything.
We had considered Lucky Strike but didn't want to deal with the dress code or driving to Bellevue. -

One of the more inviting, amiable, and larger bowling alleys in WA.
Good amount of lanes available too. Longer wait times during the weekends...but pool tables, aracde section, bar/restaurant (decent bar food), and TV's to help cope with that.
Bowling by the hour (good for larger groups) or per game. Weekly leagues and tournaments are also available.
My only negative....too many mall-rats!

I went here for The Thrilla in Tukwilla and came out a big fan. I got there right before 9 am,when they open. There was already a long line at the counter of those waiting to sign up for lanes.
The place has a nice layout. I walked in the main entrance and a restaurant was on the right. Game room on the left. Beyond the restaurant is a bar with a lot of flat screens. and one 10-12 ft. screen in the middle. Behind the game room was a Private lane area which can be rented for parties. Walking past that, you walk right into the main lane area. Bowlers Paradise.
I found the group. Went to the counter and ordered shoes($4?) and some games($2 each) this was the morning price. The tables at the lane was small. Barely big enough at all. They brought a chair for Nathan. He sat at the end of a very small table. we ordered food. Our waitress was great. Taking good care of us. we ordered breakfast. The food came in a regular time and was decent.
We ate and bowled at the same time. I was surprisingly bad. Out of all the games we bowled,I broke 100 once I think. Melody,Nathan and I were far behind Michael K. and Daren D. who is a very good bowler by the way. I just had a great time over all. Bowling is fun,win or lose. So go here to have a great time with friends and family.
This place is Thrill Killer approved Check It OOOUUUTTT!!!
P.S. if you play with Michael K. and want to win. Order Fries with Vinegar on them. Trust me on this. :-) -

Talk about a nice bowling alley. I went there to see my nephew bowl, and been there to have a few drinks in the past as well. It's clean, great staff, and decently priced. I don't know for sure where I will do my son's birthday part yet in November but this may end up being the place.

Compared with the bowling place in Lynnwood, I am a fan of ACME!
It's very clean inside. I didn't really order food, but from what I've heard they have good breakfast.
$2 per game in the morning is a very good deal. -
Review from Xav V.
Two recent Sundays in a row I spent tearing up the lanes at Acme Bowl. Fortunately both times someone else was fitting the majority of the bill, because goddamn this place is spendy for a large group. Regardless, the space is great and everyone had a good time. The service was fairly absent and the drinks were middle of the road to be sure, but I'd go back again for the air hockey, the large smooth balls, and people watching.

I met up here with 3 other couples for a quadruple-date. While I'm a Seattle resident, one of my friends lives in Tacoma, so ACME's Tukwila locale provided an ideal spot for us to meet in the middle.
This place is ENORMOUS! Immediately upon entering, I was impressed by the size of the facility. There are several bowling alleys - a more private, cosmic bowling alley, a large restaurant area and arcade, and then you continue to find the main bowling alley towards the rear.
We met up for happy hour, which was very cheap, $3 fish tacos and mini pizzas? Yes, please! Our waiter was very attentive, especially considering that they were understaffed, to which he apologized several times, though we hardly noticed given his level of service.
Bowling was fun, as were the beverages delivered to your lane. We also enjoyed the arcade which was packed with all our favorites (Big Buck Hunter, DDR, Pop-A-Shot). Overall, a great place to bowl, and reasonably priced. If only this was a little closer to Seattle proper, I'd be back in a flash! -

This is definitely on of the better bowling allies I've been to. Sure it's not as fancy as Lucky Strikes but at least they have bowling lanes that actually function. The prices here are pretty decent and if you come here on a Monday or Wednesday, you can do all you can play after 9:30 until close for only $10. Rental shoes included.
If bowling is not your thing, then try the pool tables or even the arcade. They also have a huge lounge area by the bar where you can relax on big couches with friends and listen to awesome music or watch TV.
It's a great place to kill time! -

So this is where the underaged people come to pay money and hang out when they can't go out to a bar or lounge. Not to say that this is a bad place for those 21+ either since you can get beer here, but the place looks pretty cool.
The lanes have the fancy lighting and large screens on the wall playing hip songs and music videos. We went on a Friday night and it seemed like it started to get packed quickly around 7 and people had to get on a waiting list for lanes to free up.
One suggestion about this place is to make sure if you're "forced" to share a lane between eight people like we did (they wouldn't give us a second lane), don't pay by the hour. You should just pay by the game - otherwise, you may not be able to finish all ten frames before the timer goes out.
As for food, try their bacon cheese fries. Om nom nom. -

I was here on 3-18-11.
Me and a co-worker of mine went here to watch the UW Huskies NCAA Tournament basketball game.
First I'd like to say that this place is huge inside, & has a very sleek/modern sort of look to it. My co-worker who had never been there before was surprised at how big, & clean the place was. He's a north end (as in Seattle) sort of person where they have a ton of options, so he wasn't really used to the South King County scene.
As soon as you walk in you'll see a long hallway. The pool area is to your left, and the bar area, along with the dining area (if that's what you choose to call it) is to your right. The end of the hall opens up to huge bowling area just ahead. There's also a smaller bowling area, with glow in the dark bowling to your left just as you reach the end of the hallway. There's a game room to the left of the main bowling alley. I like the fact that this place is spacy.
After seeing that the bar area was pretty full, we found a spot to be seated in the dining area to the left of the bar. Easy process. There is a huge big screen tv in the bar area, & plenty of hdtv's in the dining area to be able to view any sports event you might be there to see, which in our case was the Huskies.
We ordered our food & drinks next. I had an order nachos, which were huge!, & a Long Island Iced Tea. They are pretty speedy with the orders, & the wait wasn't too bad (10-15min).
The whole place, & the restrooms are kept clean thankfully. No likes filth right? I sure don't.
Give this place a shot if you're in the Southcenter area & have the time. Be warned that it does tend to fill up quickly during the weekends, & during sports events. It's a cool place with a cool vibe overall though. -

I'm a big fan of Acme Bowling. I came here a few years ago for a friends birthday party and ever since I've been hooked. It's a great place to come with a group of friends and kick back in the bar with some drinks and snacks while waiting for bowling lanes.
There is plenty of space at the lane to hang out and you can have your pitcher at the table too.
Sure the prices are a little expensive but where else can you get this bowling experience in a party type atmosphere and people of all ages can partake in this experience.Listed in: Seattle Style! Stuff to do…

I had a great time here with my mom and my cousin on a Wednesday afternoon a few weeks ago. The service was quick and attentive and they have a good menu selection. My mom had a mix-up with her order but orders everything backwards anyway usually so :p What kindof sucks is that they charge for soda refills but the cups they give you are huge to begin with. No human should consume that much soda anyway. I have no idea what the scene is like here on a weekend or at night but I enjoyed the day time crowd. It seems like it could get pretty busy/crazy at night.

Saturday morning... Rain pouring down... Half the world is still lazing around in their PJs... and I? I went bowling!
First of all... even though we started 10 minutes before the end of the early bird special, we were able to prepay as many games as we wanted for two dollars a game, so three people bowling 4 games each came out to a whopping 27 bucks after tax... Fantastic!
This place really impressed me, to the point where I am going to make these saturday bowling mornings a regular occurence. The pool tables are gorgeous, the bowling lanes are gorgeous, the BATHROOMS are gorgeous... and the food...
The nachos had so much cheese I was sure that I was either going to die, or had already died and gone to a cheesy heaven. Don't pay the extra two bucks for guac... not because its bad, but because it comes in one of those 'are you freakin' kidding me' sized cups... Still, they were so delicious.
Also had some of the breakfast burrito - delicious and enormous... and their hash browns were off the hizzy. The breakfast sandwiches also looked yummy and were totally cheap.
I may or may not feel like a bit of an alkie having had 4 rum and diets starting at 11:00 am, but I'm not one to go bowling sober, and frankly, it was the only way to handle watching Daren get strike after spare after strike after wow.
Tons of fun. New haunt. Good game. -

Acme Bowl is a pristine bowling alley if I ever saw one. After Red Robin we decided to go bowling here. I walk in and am amazed at how clean and modern and cutting edge the place is. I'm clearly in bowling alley awe at this point. We walk past a nice, big, full stocked bar and several new clean pool tables and finally find the counter to see about getting a lane.
Now here's where things got odd for me, we had at tell them how many games we plan on playing and pay before we even started. I'm use to the good old days and West Seattle Bowl where you get your shoes, go to your lane and bowl than come back and pay but here you have to pay first. And it's not cheap, for four people to play three games each plus shoe rental it was $86 which I thought was a bit over the top but that's just me.
We go to our lane and its clean and pretty and new and a huge screen in front of us so we can watch the end of the Basketball All-star game, Go WEST!!! I look for a place to sit and we have a picnic like table, where's the uncomfortable bench seating? I like the bench seating not this table business it left me feeling a little cold towards my bowling companions, there's wasn't room for much interaction and teasing when you have assigned seats to sit at. They do have little cocktail boys and girls who come around and take your order for drinks and food which is a nice addition to the bowling alley but they can be kind of hard to track down if at first you said you didn't want anything than decide later you are thirsty.
I did end up winning all three games, because I rock like that and since I didn't pay that made it even better but with the seating and the cost I can't give this place five stars no matter how bad I want too, four stars is pushing it but since there's no 3.5 star option available I'll round up and do four. -

Acme Bowl--Remember the name of the company that the coyote in the roadrunner cartoons got his weapons from?
ACME combines a cutting-edge urban/industrial environment with the social entertainment of bowling, billiards, and dining in a non-smoking atmosphere. Whether you are looking for a night out with your friends or a nice solo game in style, This place mixes Fun and excitement.
This Bowling Alley has a very nice Atmosphere!! They even have a restaurant lounge that blends fresh Northwest ingredients into contemporary American cuisine. Angus beef sandwiches, Asian chicken salad, and gourmet pizzas are just a few delicious menu options. Couches, dramatic lighting, and expertly mixed libations set the mood in the lounge.
The Private Seven10 bowling lounge is Amazingly Nice!! with couches and large projection screens. The Prices though may be a tad bit high, so I wouldn't recommend practicing your daily game here unless you want your wallet empty.
If you want to bowl in style check this place out!! Its right next to SouthCenter MaLL. Do Coyote and Roadrunner proud! beep beep -
Review from Jeanny M.
This place is huuuuuuuuge. They have tons of bowling lanes, several pool tables, a bar with 3-4 loud tvs showing different sporting events, an arcade room, along with a private room with its own lanes and stuff. I think there is a restaurant too, but the servers always came by to check on us so I didn't bother to explore further.
Parking was pretty full tonight, the place was jumpin'!
I wasn't sure what to expect, but it's a really clean, modern bowling alley..I'm used to that divey crap back when people were able to smoke, Monte Carlo nights and all, being dark and dirty. Not here..You've got black and neon(?) lightning, no strange smells, the counters were clean, the restrooms clean, floors clean. Very nice work.
Shoe rental is just under $5. I didn't pay for the lanes so I have idea how much it was for the couple hours we bowled. Went to the bar area and got some Blue Moon pints for about $5. Tasty..orangey, I don't think I've had it before.
We shared a giant order of onion rings and a mountain of nachos. We had several people there and the nachos were STILL there even after people were working on them for some time. They had beef, cheese, jalapenos, olives, tomatoes, and extra bean dip/salsa on the side. The onion rings were large, crispy, little greasy and the dippy sauce was surprisingly spicy. Cooked just enough so that you could still bite through the onion and not have it snap back and hit you in the face.
We played a couple games of bowling each. I was terrible as per. Then we moved to the pool tables for another hour or so. I did NOT play pool because I know I suck.
Service was nice, we had one girl at the lanes and a different one at the pool table. Each came by pretty regularly without us hitting the call button (I never did see where the button was, but the guy in the bar said there was one).
I am disappoint they do not have pitchers of beer. It's like, what? No pitchers? But you have pitchers of water and beer on tap..soooo, put it together.
Anyhoo, this place was definitely not what I expected and in a good way. It can certainly host a large group, as long as someone gets here early to secure a lane. :) -

This is what bowling on acid should be like. Last time I bowled on acid, I got a really bad score. Plus, I think I almost knocked someone over with the bowling ball.
Ok, this place has nothing to do with acid, just cool because it has a blacklight and music videos. I only added that acid stuff at the beginning to sound cool. I suck at bowling, and when I want to show off my non skills....damn, I dont even bowl. Maybe once or twice have I bowled here. Usually I just watch. I like to watch.
They also have alcohol here, so I like to drink and watch people bowl to music videos.
....this is my worst review ever.

Whoa.
-- was my reaction when I walked in. I didn't expect a place like this in Southcenter.
Walk in, and the first thing you see are the pool tables on your left. Look to your right, and you'd be surprised to see a modern-looking dining area almost resembling a real restaurant. Vibrant-red booths and matte black tabletops.
And, the bowling lanes?... Lit bright-blue to your awe-ness.
The Rating!
[ Food ] -- 3.5 --
I've had better food, but this is actually a pretty smart move by ACME. Waiting time on Saturdays is usually 1-2-3 hrs., depending on how busy the night is. Put your name on the list, grab the ticket number, and have dinner at the10-Pin Diner conveniently located inside ACME while you wait. They serve appetizers (I think), pizza, pasta, sandwiches, burgers, fries, desserts, drinks, soda, etc... Basically, food that you wouldn't expect to be served at a bowling alley.
[ Service ] -- 2.5 --
Our waiter was an ass! When we all first arrived, he asked us what we would like to order. We said we would need a few more minutes to decide, so he leaves our tableside. Literally, 30 seconds later, he comes back with an impatient, condescending attitude, demanding what we wanted to order. And, it was OBVIOUS that we weren't ready yet. We were just chatting for a little bit, checking out the menu a little but still unsure. And, at least TWICE throughout the night, he FORGETS to serve the drinks we ordered. I don't remember him apologizing either.
Besides our waiter, everybody else was pretty nice.
[ Decor/Ambience ] -- 3.5 to 4 --
Visually appealing place with modern-looking diner and cool-looking, blue-lit bowling lanes. Nice, clean, and modern. In the pictures, it looks dark, but there is ample lighting inside so don't worry about tripping in the dark or anything. There are big screen TVs at the end of the bowling lanes, but in my opinion, what a waste of money! Sure, it adds a little something to the overall appearance of the place, but there is no real utilization for the screen TVs. It would make sense if the screen TVs and the music blasting overhead were playing the same music/music videos at the same time (like Bellevue's Sunvilla bowling lanes do).
[ Parking ]
Kind of a small parking lot for a busy place, if you ask me.
[ Entertainment Value ] -- 4.5 --
Bowl. Shoot pool. Play video games. Order food. Order drinks at the bar. Or have waitresses bring it to your lane!! :) -

This is a surprising gem in Tukwila!
It's a really nice space--clean, open, lots of seating and excellent equipment (Oh and ample parking).
Had a big work function here just the other day. About 50-60 of us piled into the bar area during HH. I was skeptical if the waiters/waitress/bartenders could keep up, but to my surprise they handled everything like champs! Great service and pretty good pours!
If you are in the area and need a "rated PG" type of venue, ACME bowling is a great choice! -

This is the way all bowling alley's should be. It's nice, and not too over-priced. Lanes are slick, and the lights are bright.
I went to a work party here during the holidays. Reserving lanes for a party requires a catering purchase, but I have to admit the food was good! Butternut squash ravioli is all I remember. I think the rest was turkey, garlic mash, a salad... but we packed up boxes to take home.
Someone told me that if you brought your own shoes you would pay half as much. So I think I'm going to hunt down some velcro bowlers. -

I haven't been bowling in years which explains why I haven't been to ACME before. This place is pretty amazing...except for the fact that the lanes are uneven.
Seriously, the lanes have to be uneven because the first few frames I bowled were rife with gutter balls and I never laid down a strike the whole game. And there's just no way that I'm that bad so the only rationale must be that the lanes weren't even. The people at ACME will say it's not the lane but the bowler but clearly they don't know who I am. Brett Favre will retire from the NFL before I bowl another game under 150.
But the place looks nice, it's free of smoke, the service is great and they even have something for little kids to roll their ball off of to help them bowl which is helpful when you have little toddlers trying to roll a 6 lb ball. Everything was pretty much on point. The only drawback for me would be the prices. $5.50 a game is just a bit on the steep side. I know someone has to pay for the facilities and I do like the newness of it all. At the same time, I wish I had Sunset Bowl or Leilani Lanes to go back to. Something about those old cheap dives that make bowling so much fun. But who needs old bowling lanes...we need more condos, right??? -

This is my favorite place to bowl - EVER! In other bowling alleys it's a rarity for it to be clean, smell good and to have good customer service. Not at Acme Bowl! That seems to be business as usual.
I also recommend Acme Bowl for private parties! There was always someone to help if we had a question, or refill the pop or clear away a plate. All of this with a smile.
It felt like good, old fashioned customer service here.
