Krissy specializes in Shiatsu. I had never had it before, but was excited to try especially because you stay clothed during the treatment. No chance of drafts, or modesty issues ;) She does these rocking, kneading, and percussive movements all-over your body and coaxes your muscles to release. I love sessions with her because her style gradually builds in depth and intensity, so that your body isn't shocked into deep tissue work it isn't ready for just yet. She gets you there, but works you up to it, and listens to you and reads your body so that it isn't fighting against the work she is doing. I have seen her several times when I was beyond fatigued,
and I swear as soon as I get off of her table my energy level is transformed. She absolutely kicked a month-long period of lethargy out of my body with one of her 60 minute sessions. No joke. She is amazing,
and a good egg. Just a great energy to be around. -

Reporting week from hell, everyone is haunched over their macs desperately trying to compile and make that deadline. Who do we call once it's over to decompress? Krissy of course! She breezed into our office, set up her massage table and one by one she took each of our computer hunched bodies into her shiatsu trained hands and reshaped and reenergized us into normal humans again. AMAZING!

Krissy is an incredible massage therapist on all levels, and if you are looking for a gal who specializes in shiatsu, this is your gal! Krissy always combines a good muscle workout along with a incredibly relaxing treatment. She restores range of motion quickly in achy joints, as well and helping the body breakthrough it's strange holding patterns.
I would highly recommend Krissy when every you need a massage that is not just all about pushing on muscles, but getting to the core of the problem... She is wonderful! -

Great masseuse, really turned me on to the wonders of shiatsu. Can't beat the location either, you can get there in no time from most places in town. Highly recommended.

I specialize in Shiatsu therapy- an eastern focused massage that follows the same theory as acupuncture. Shiatsu literally means "finger pressure," which is directed in precise areas in the body, with the addition of stretch. It is done with comfortable clothes on and truly brings a new meaning to what a massage can be! I treat chronic and acute pain, backaches, sciatica, limited mobility, headaches/migraines, arthritic conditions, emotional stress, intestinal disorders and a variety of other ailments.
