Went to Dr Neal for severe anxiety and heart palpitations today and he put my mind at ease.
ran tests on my heart and gave me medication for anxiety and stress.
he was very understanding and compassionate and made me feel sane and normal.
i was embarrassed about this problem but now i feel confident that i have someone on my side to help me through.

I cannot emphasize enough how great of a physician Dr. Neal is! I went to Achieve again today for the TDAP vaccine and a blood titer. He seriously cares about patients w/o health insurance. Honestly, I don't think I've ever been to a clinic where the actual DOCTOR tries to find the best solutions for the cost of things. I got reduced rates for the blood titer... PLUS the vaccine was cheaper than anywhere else I called. To top things off, he is so incredibly nice! I can't imagine any patient being uncomfortable around him because he has the greatest bedside manner... ever.
And the MAs are super nice, too!
The MA who gave me the shot and drew my blood was awesome. She was able to get my vein in the FIRST TRY! AHHH I was so happy about that. I've had some experiences in which I was poked more than once... you can imagine how unpleasant that was.
I highly recommend people coming here for anything from a vaccine to being seen for the flu to having a physical done, etc.
I wrote this before, but I'll write it again...
~TB tests for only $15!!!!
~There's a parking structure when you turn onto 230th place from Crenshaw or Pennsylvania.
~Make an appointment because they're pretty busy now, BUT walk-ins seem to be welcome, and the wait isn't too bad.

Dr. Darren Neal is the best doctor I have had since moving to Southern California in 1985. You really know how good a doctor is when being treated for a chronic condition, in my case asthma. Dr. Neal not only stabilized my condtion, he found through tests that I was lacking in certain hormones. A gifted physician who spends time with his patients.

Got what I needed for $15 (TB Skin Test).
Called places around and they were offering the test from $20-$40.
Workers were friendly and the wait was very short.

We had a great experience with achieve - we were able to bring my father in law (who is kind of afraid of doctors and hospitals) in on short notice to take care of an abscess that had developed in his back. Dr. Oh had great bedside manner and helped put him at ease, especially since he's afraid of needles and had to receive both injections (of local anaesthetic and antibiotics) and have the abscess cut open to drain it. The care was remarkably affordable, as well. It was an all-around excellent experience, and if I were local to the Torrance area (my in laws live nearby) I'd rely on Achieve for quite a bit of my care needs.

Staffs and both doctors are super friendly. Took my son in for a TB Skin Test, sign in, pay $15, went in, and walk out within minutes. Affordable TB Skin Test EVER!

Only on old TV re-runs of Marcus Welby, MD, I had ever seen a concerned, friendly doctor who wanted to get to know his patients and their lives so he could understand how best to help them--that is, until I stepped into this office.
Truly, what a wonder. The staff was courteous and professional, and Dr. Neal could not have been more friendly, knowledgeable or down-to -earth. He took at least 20 minutes talking to me, getting to know my situation. I felt heard, I felt understood, and I felt I was getting the best, most reasonable approach to medicine. Dr. Neal is a former Navy doctor, and there is a practicality in his approach that I really appreciated. I went in for an urgent care visit for what I thought was a wicked cold--turned out to be pneumonia!--and I ended up changing my insurance to use him as my primary care physician.
If every doctor practiced this kind of medicine in this country, we wouldn't be in the health-care nightmare we're all in today! -

After reading some positive Yelp reviews, I decided to go to Achieve Medical and I am extremely glad I did. I feel like I got The best possible treatment and care for a fraction of what it costs elsewhere. Dr. Neal was even nicer than I expected. In fact, everyone in the office was nice and friendly. Usually you get the feeling that doctors and assistants are trying to get you in and out as quickly as possible. I didn't have a chance to talk to Dr. Oh but she warmly greeted me on my way out. This is definitely the kind of care I would come back to.
Also, one of the best things is that Dr. Neal, knowing I was a cash patient, found the most price conscious treatment and even took the time to refer me to some other things I may need in the future. -

Went in today for a physical and a TB test. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The TB test was only $15!! The other places I called were around $40... I definitely recommend Achieve for any of your medical needs. Dr. Neal was really nice and friendly and made me feel comfortable. Most importantly, the office is clean and relaxed. To be honest, this is probably the best hospital/doctor experience I've had, and I think it was about time for me to find a new physician anyways... 5 stars and more for Achieve Medical Group!!

Dr. Neal was referred to me by a friend of mine as I was in need of a Primary Care Physician. I do not like busy, large groups. Achieve Medical Group is perfect for me. I called this morning, very sick with the flu, and was seen by Dr. Neal shortly after I contacted the office. He was thorough and kind. I will continue to refer others to Dr. Neal and I am thrilled to have finally found a physician in the South Bay who is not part of a huge practice where you are shuffled in and out and have a hard time being seen the same day. Definitely two thumbs up for Dr. Neal!

My husband saw Dr. Neal for his flu last month. Everything was great; Dr. Neal has a great bedside manner, and he took good care of my hubs. The only mishap was with billing, which was taken care of, after the insurance straightened it up with his office. Kudos for Dr. Neal and his staff!!

I came to this place prompted by good yelp reviews. I needed to get a TB test before I start grad school in the fall. Trying be thrifty I was looking online for places that could get it for me for cheap. I saw a place that offered it for 40 bucks, which i thought was a good deal. That was until I found Achieve and saw that they give TB tests for 15 bucks. Wow. Because I was only coming in for a TB test, I wasn't really meeting with either doctors. One of the staff workers administered it, but I did meet Dr. Neal, who introduced himself and was very kind. When I came back to have my TB test results read I met with Dr. Karen and she was wonderful. She was kind, upbeat, and very enthusiastic. I love this place. The staff workers are polite and attentive as well as the doctors. They create a positive environment to make their patients feel welcome and at ease. I am so happy I found this place.
