Nick has been an incredibly great asset to help with not just the SAT tutoring, but in all facets of planning and understanding the process ... he even contacted some schools for us in order to see what their priorities are in so far as what test scores are important, how they look at them, and even how they view other aspects of a student's application and history. The communications of the staff, as well as the punctuality and overall capabilities of everyone has been outstanding. I highly recommend Achieve Learning Center.

We have had a very positive experience with the Achieve Learning Center. My first contact was with Juan Sanchez, its founder, to arrange an initial meeting with a tutor for my son who is a sophmore in high school. After an initial setback due to a communication issue with the first tutor identified, we were matched with a tutor who has exceeded our expectations. She has been everything we hoped for; personable, enthusiastic, flexible, reliable and highly qualified.

Achieve Learning is a nonprofit tutoring organization committed to providing the highest quality tutoring and test preparation at a fraction of market rates. We provide individualized instruction in nearly every K-12 subject, in addition to test preparation for the SAT, ACT, ISEE, HSPT, and CAHSEE, among others. ALRC offers a variety of programs that fit the busy lives of today's students.
History
Established in 2009
Achieve Learning and Resource Center, Inc. was founded in the Bay Area in 2009 by Dr. Juan Sanchez, while he was a professor at UCLA. Having grown up in the Bay Area, Juan experienced both the benefits and shortcomings of a public education. While at UC Berkeley, he lived in the El Cerrito area, and saw firsthand how few high quality programs were available to the local students. ALRC is founded on the principle that high quality tutoring doesn't have to be expensive.
Since 2009, ALRC has grown dramatically each year, with more and more parents, students, schools, and organizations choosing ALRC because of its value. Last year, ALRC served over 350 students from over 30 schools across the East Bay.
