Top notch service! Extremely polite, personable, and on time. The car was also far nicer and roomier than your standard cab.
I tend to take super early flights to the airport and have had terrible luck with other cab companies. From now on, Aces is my go-to place. -

Listen to me...Never get in a cab again!
These guys cost less than a cab for a trip to the airport from the University District.
The driver was cool, the car was clean and spacious, and the service was on EARLY!
They take credit cards which right there is reason #431 to never call a Taxi again.

There are few companies in this world that demand my loyalty nowadays and Aces for Hire is definitely one of them. They won't always be available but that is to be expected with their amazing service. I don't own a car, but when I have a date I always call these guys ahead of time to schedule a ride so I can arrive in style. Then I'm like, "oh yea, I don't own a car but I don't need one. That's my driver."

Aces For Hire!
Screw Yellow Cab, they are a bunch of assholes. My boyfriend and I needed a lift from Magnolia to the Key Arena for Radiohead. The coolest guy ever picked us up in a fancy towncar and got us there all within 30mins of calling them! I didn't catch his name, but I do remember he wasn't straight edge and didn't enjoy Minor Threat (cracked me up) we loved this dude.
And for the most important part: I felt safe, this guy knew what he was doing and I felt comfortable.
You stay classy, Aces For Hire. -

Needed a very early ride to the airport and didn't want to deal with unreliable taxi's. My boyfriend reserved a pick-up and asked that they call to confirm because he doesn't trust automatic email replies.
We received an email confirmation, as well as a phone call to confirm which was nice. They clearly know how to follow directions A +.
We were picked up right on time! Our driver was very friendly, carried our bags, and even asked us if we had a music preference once in the vehicle (we didn't but nice to know we had options).
My brain was only halfway turned on at this hour, but there weren't any of those awkward "I really don't want this random stranger to spark conversation with me" types of conversations. It was the perfect amount of chat (short but to the point).
$55 from my house to the airport and didn't have to deal with any bullshit, no wrong turns, no traffic issues or wait time. Even though it wouldn't have changed the price, the driver still asked if we had a preference to the route --totally cool.
Smooth sailing....I would use them again anytime.

I needed a ride to the airport and didn't have the patience for the shuttle or the $$$ for a taxi, so after reading all these reviews, booked Aces for Hire. Booking was easy enough, reservation agent friendly and efficient, and best of all, drivers were not on time, but early! Drivers were very down to earth, cars were comfortable, and I got to/from my destination on time and in style for not much more than the stupid slow shuttle!
Would go with them again in a heartbeat! -

On time, reasonably priced, cars look great, drivers know the area, their debit card reader actually works, and holy crap they speak English!
Since they are a Towncar service, I don't think you can flag them down on the street. But if you know in advance that you are going to need a ride, you can't go wrong with these guys. I can't recommend them enough.
I will never call Yellow Cab again. -

Frequent travelers are a rare breed. They know oddities that other travelers may never think about.
Flying out of SEA for over 5+ years (too many times to count), I knew exactly how long it took once I stepped off the plane to the departure/arrival level and even the door # from any gate. Armed with this information, I was able to let the drivers know when to be there to pick me up, while reducing my time waiting.
A4H was pretty good at airport transportation. They always picked up on-time (even at the wee early hours), were friendly and got me to the airport safely.
The only negative I had with them, was it seemed they could never pick up in what I view in a timely manner (less than 3-minutes wait once I got outside). I always called from inside the plane, and told them I'd be ready in X-minutes; what level and at what door... and I'd still be waiting 5+ minutes.
The drivers seemed to be either still driving to the airport or they'd tell me it takes a while to go from the cell phone waiting lot to the terminal, but I know that it doesn't take more than 5-minutes... I too have picked people up.
Overall, an outstanding airport transportation option.
One thing I wish they did/suggest, offer to keep a credit card on-file for your frequent users to the airport, so that you save time by not having to go through the payment process each trip. -

Thanks for the positive review on Yelp about our car service. We (the drivers) really appreciate the feedback as it helps us to improve on things and make it better.
I wanted to ask you about your review, because I want to be clear about something in your review.
The wait time. I'm wondering if you were told 20 minutes and waited for 45 minutes for us and we never showed up, or if you were referring to another cab that never showed up?
If it was us that never showed up, I'm truly sorry that happened and I want to figure out why this had happened and fix it immediately so that it never happens to you again. And, if it was us that didn't show up, I'd also like to thank you for not giving us a 1 or 2 star rating as we would definitely deserve it.
If it was another company, I'll be completely relieved to know that none of us left you stranded in the rain. (please pick this one, pretty please), but also be disappointed that you had to suffer through that.
We are adding more drivers/cars and growing slowly and hoping that the 1-2am rush won't leave you waiting or having to use someone else to get home. We truly appreciate the regulars that ride with us and want to continue the relationships that we've established with them (you included). We're a small company and we don't have any investors, just the hard work of ourselves to build this up piece by piece.
We will get there and hopefully this year we'll have more and more cars out there to take care of you.

I HIGHLY recommend Aces for Hire, although I would also prefer to keep them somewhat secret to avoid super long waits... They are not the largest company, so occasionally they don't have immediate availability during high traffic times (such as a Saturday night) but sometimes, even then, they arrive faster than they say they can. I tried to get a car when they had no immediate availability, and the person who was dispatching attempted to contact someone else to help me out when they were unable to.
You certainly would never find service where they go out of their way to help you out through other cab companies!
The town cars look great and are always very clean and comfortable and the drivers play good music. The drivers are always friendly and fun to talk to. Their rates are "flat rate' so you are guaranteed to have around the same rate no matter who your driver is (instead of extremely fluctuating rates like you can get through OTHER companies, who shall remain nameless).
Occasionally I am forced to resort to other cab companies when Aces drivers are unavailable, but Aces is ALWAYS my first choice. -

I needed a ride into Seattle from Mercer Island late one evening. I called and spoke directly to the driver. We had a night out and with a quick text message and 20 minutes warning he picked us up and brought us right home.

Loved the experience we have had with Aces! I booked based on YELP reviews and they never disappoint. The service is usually not for me but for my guests or clients. I use Aces when my "hip" downtown visitors need a ride to the Amtrak or SEATAC. This will not replace British Motorcoach .. if you get my drift... But the service is perfect for the .com friends that need rides from the work-place to the transportation-place.
You call, nice person answers, cool dude in town car arrives PROMPTLY, calls again, and is helpful! NICE!
In my job, I get kudos when I use their service and for that I thanks Aces! :) -

Great service!
My girlfriend and I went to Speed dating together and needed a ride from North Seattle to Downtown. We called up Aces for Hire and had them pick us up from my apartment complex.
There was a Seahawks home game at the same night. The Staff was able to send us downtown within 20 mins from North Seattle. I was really impressed! Fast Service. The Staff was able to talk to us and calm my girlfriend down before the speed dating. I love the friendly service. After the speed dating, we called Aces for hire. We were able to get home in 20 mins.
Highly recommended, if you ever need a nice ride in Seattle Metropolitan area. This is the way to go. You can either pay with cash or credit card. -

I like these guys.
There is no shortage of car and transport options in this town, so I'll keep it simple.
Presently I use these guys in my airport travels. They show up on time (with a conversation ahead of time), they're cheaper than way less pleasant alternatives, they process credit cards via Square, and those that I've met prove to be cool dudes.
At about half of Uber prices, they're worth thinking about in just about any travel context where you aren't planning on driving. -

Nothing short of awesome. I've used Aces twice and it was great. They communicate well, confirm your reservation, they have online booking, they're friendly, and cheaper than the latest hotness, Uber, which actually subcontracts their services out to various drivers who may or may not be so good.
With Aces, you'll know you're getting a great driver, a clean car, and honest folks serving you. And it's going to be at a good rate for sure.
Someone wrote that they apply the tip without asking -- untrue. You pay via iPad app called Square which means you can choose the tip you want to give. It'll even show you the amount for the percent so that you know. They then can email your the receipt or SMS it to you. Pretty brilliant.
These guys are down to earth, smart, reliable, and nice. No bullshit, no run around, no sticker shock. One less thing to worry about when you just wanna get somewhere. -

This was my first time booking a town car for an airport pickup. Pickup was confirmed via e-mail within 15 minutes.
My driver (Andrew? Sorry, terrible with names!) Showed up exactly on time. Loaded my luggage up, had a great conversation on the way over, dropped me off in exactly the right place. Pricing was more than competitive, paid quickly with an iPad. Can't really ask for much more.
Highly recommend these guys. They've clearly figured out how to drive people around in style and comfort! -

Never again will I be seen on a street corner trying to hail down a dingy yellow cab, so long as I've got Aces programmed in my phone!
I love this service so much that I actually look forward to sharing it with my out-of-towner co-workers travelling from Canada, and friends/family coming to visit. Not only is Aces generally the same price as a cab, they're often CHEAPER! On top of that, you get a much more pleasant experience riding in a plush town car vs. a sketchy taxi that smells like a wet dog half of the time.
I've used Aces for a short trip from Belltown to Capitol Hill on a HECTIC Friday night, and my driver Mike was a rockstar about finding me and rescuing me from the bro-crowd that was blossoming at the midnight hour (those of you who frequent Belltown know what I'm talking about, ugh). I appreciate that they also let me sit in the front if I want to (hey, sometimes it's nice to chat you know?) and even ask me what music I'd like to listen to!
I've also used Aces as a shuttle from my house to SEATAC, which rounds out to about $40 give or take. If you do some price checking on airport shuttles, you'll see that this is pretty standard, so why not opt for a private town car? Plus, my driver that time (Alex I think?) was super chatty and cheerful even at 4AM.
Maybe I'm a little biased because I totally dig the fact that their drivers have tats, are real, and super down to earth, but I know for a fact that I won't opt for a different cab/car service if I don't have to :)
To the reviewer who claimed Mike called her a nasty name, I highly doubt that as he's super chill and I just can't imagine him doing something like that.
OH, and bonus points for asking if I want to be programmed into their customer database (for nights you're too tired to even explain where you live, they'll just look you up, nice). -

4 calls for 4 rides. Our first trips were to and from First Hill. The guy picked us up when he said he would and was about as much as a cab. We got the same driver at around midnight for our ride home. They were very prompt for a Saturday night. The car was immaculate and the guys are just friggin' nice.
Our other two rides brought us to and from the symphony. Again, these guys are so polite and so easy to work with. My wife and I keep them on our phones. I'm letting all of our friends know about these guys. This is a great company that deserves to grow. -

I want to move to Seattle just to use Aces all the time. I have literally never had better service. What they do transcends "a ride" or a "cab" -- it's like being a celebrity for the moments when they are ferrying you around.
Here's the skinny:
-- They showed up early. EARLY!
-- The "cab" was a dream. Black lincoln, leather interior, awesome music
-- Safe driving as in, no weaving in and out of lanes, no death grip on the seats. See: Every cab I had in SF
-- Answered the phone at 2:15 am on a Saturday for my ride the next day and didn't sound harassed or frustrated
-- The inside of the cab smelled like new car
-- Credit card is totally welcome and you sign on an ipad (sweet!)
-- Same price as a standard cab to the airport
-- My driver, Andy, was a stand up guy. Really interesting, super friendly

For the same price as a cab we got a (ridiculously) early morning pick up (he was there about 5 minutes early) and a clean, smooth ride to the airport.
I really don't know why you would not call them. -

Wow. I will never take a taxi again if I can avoid it. These guys cost less than a cab (by about $5, but still) for a trip to the airport from the University District, and the experience was wayyyyy better.
The driver was friendly (which is way more than I can say for most taxis), the car was clean and spacious, and the service was very prompt. We listened to good music (last time I ordered a car service the guy played country after we told him we were flying to North Carolina... Not all people who travel to the south like country music, mmkay).
Additionally, we called them less than 12 hours in advance, and it was no problem at all. They're also totally cool with credit cards, which, again, is more than I can say for most taxis.
Finally--and this is silly--but they have totally sweet business cards. -

I had not needed to arrange transport to the airport in quite a while. When my husband and I travel together, we drive and park at a "park and fly" lot. When I fly by myself, he usually drops me at SeaTac. In an old job, my company had an account with one of the cab companies, so, if I was flying on business, I just called them.
So, when I found myself, for the first time in more years than I can remember, needing to figure out how to get me to SeaTac for a midday flight, I turned to Yelp for advice. The many five star reviews for Aces for Hire steered me to them.
For the most part, I was very satisfied. The prices are extremely reasonable. From my neighborhood, Aces for Hire actually charges LESS than a certain shared ride service. So, it made total sense to call a service that picks me up when I want (and not when they deem appropriate) and does not force me to drive around half of Seattle and make six other stops before actually heading to SeaTac.
The driver was on time and carried my bag from my front porch to the car. The car was clean and very comfortable. I sat back and enjoyed the ride. I loved knowing i was paying a set price and did not have to keep my eye on the meter.
We arrived at the airport, and here's where the glitter cleared from my eyes a bit. The driver told me the cost of my trip, and this was actually a few dollars less than what I'd been quoted when I made my reservation. So far, so good. BUT...I gave him my charge card. He swiped the card into a tablet PC and handed me the tablet to sign as an electronic credit slip. I was surprised to see the total was several dollars higher than the price he had just given me. The driver had added a 20% tip to the total. He told me I had the option to change this if I wish. Since, due to the lower base fare, the total was lower than what I was preparing to pay (based on the fare I'd been originally quoted plus tip), I went ahead and signed.
BUT, this, in my opinion, is very, very bad practice. I don't know if this is company policy or the driver's individual action. But, either way, it is not cool. A tip is something that should be determined by the customer, not the company/driver. It is not the driver's place to decide he gave 20% tip-worthy service; that is the customer's job. By "pre-filling in" the tip like this, the driver is putting the customer in a potentially uncomfortable situation. It did not sit well with me, and, unfortunately, caused what had been a positive experience to end on a negative note. -

We used Aces4Hire for airport to hotel downtown and downtown to airport transportation. Ride was smooth and both young men that assisted us with luggage were friendly and professional.
If we find ourselves in Seattle again, we will book online like we did for this trip. We did e-mail the day before our trip to confirm and then phoned after we arrived at the airport for transporation. -

Best car service experience ever. Easy online reservation system with a fast confirmation. He read my message that my address doesn't match the GPS coordinates and called for instructions. When I called at 6 AM to see if they could come earlier than my requested 6:30 AM pickup-- totally unreasonable on my part-- he totally obliged and showed up little early. Then, for two people with lots of luggage between Sand Point and Amtrak, I only paid $25 plus tip. Would have been sooooo much more with Super Shuttle or Yellow Cab.

Wow. Fantastic service. I was out running and ran out of steam in an unfamiliar part of town, no money on me, and decided to try my luck with a cab. Found these guys on Yelp.
When he picked me up in a very nice towncar, he offered me a huge bottle of water, which I graciously took, and chatted with me on the ride home. He didn't seem bothered in the least that I had to run upstairs to get my wallet. It was a flat rate, very affordable. -

After a long night of working in a loud atmosphere a friend and I took an Aces cab home from downtown. The three of us had a friendly conversation and I asked that we turn the music down A. because it had been a really loud and long night and B. because I could barely hear what the driver was saying while we were talking. Generously tipped and thankful, I got out at my stop while my friend continued onto her place. The next night, expecting to share the cab from work again my friend informed me that it was "Mike" and he said he thought I was a bitch because I asked that his music be turned down and I was no longer "allowed in his cab".
You have got to be kidding me. Aces response on Twitter? "You must have been extremely rude to our driver, we aren't a yellow cab, give respect to get it." What about respecting your customer's small request for 5 minutes of quiet while we went home? THAT was why I get banned from a cab? Cause I asked for a little quiet? This incident DEFINES the criticism of Cap Hill and hipster culture in general- over sensitive, babyish snobbery. I am generous and kind to even the most annoying Yellow cabbie and they are usually great to me back- Aces wasn't even cheaper than a Yellow!!! I have used Aces For Hire on several trips to the airport. I love the fact that the cars are clean, the drivers are friendly and remind me of the type of dudes I would meet if KEXP ran a live music venue. On my most recent trip I tried to be all smooth and have the cash pulled out and ready ready when we pulled up to the house because I know how much the ride from the airport is. Well, I left my wallet in the car and it took me about an hour to realize it was missing. I called Lynyrd (cool guy) and he jumped on the phone and called the driver. They found my wallet and kept in touch with me to figure out how to get it back to me. I offered to meet them somewhere because it was totally my fault and didn't want to waste there time. I got a call from Andy the driver and he told me he was on my way to my house with my wallet! Great service, great people and far above what is required in a car service. I highly recommend them to all my friends!!! I am so impressed with this company I would invest money in them. This is the best of the best for car service in Seattle!!!

So. Impressed.
My husband and I decided to book a towncar service for our guests at the end of our July 4th wedding. By the end of the day, we had also used them to transport the bridal party to and from the hair salon as well as transportation for family members looking for an easy way to reach our venue.
Timm and his team were excellent. The day of service was smooth, professional and fun with a little of the laid back feeling that fit us to a tee.
What set them above and beyond? Days before our wedding, tragedy struck, and one of the two towncars we had reserved became suddenly out of commission. Without a moment of hesitation, Timm rented another vehicle (surely cancelling out whatever profit they made from our business). He even called a few days ahead of time to touch base and ensure that my overwhelmed bridal brain could rest easy with at least one detail of the planning process.
Our guests were so thrilled to have the towncars available at the end of the night, and nothing starts a wedding day better than climbing into a clean, comfy ride with a friendly driver (Timm himself drove the bridal party) and an IPOD from which to choose my wedding day tunes.
Final bonus? The salon was running behind day of, so we just texted Timm to let him know, and without a hitch he adjusted our pick-up schedule without any stress or problems.
We will be using Aces for Hire again and again, and after the rave reviews from our guests, they will too! -

Aces has been on my list to try for awhile now, following Katy's (and Kate's) excellent reviews. I emailed them to set up a ride to the train station Thursday morning and got an email confirmation back within a few hours. Timm texted me when he arrived and we had fun chatting on the short drive down to the station. They take credit cards, which is awesome, and quite fun as they've got a cool iPad system that can even email you a receipt if you want. $10 plus tip was perfectly reasonable and much nicer than riding the bus or paying crazy overnight parking rates in downtown.
I enjoyed my ride down to the station so much that I texted from the train to see if they could give me a ride back home. Within 30 minutes, I had a reply from Alexei who picked me up and zipped me back home. I absolutely love businesses that will communicate via text or email messages and save me having to talk on the phone, so Aces is now my #1 choice of cabs. Thanks guys!! -

I didn't feel like taking the bus on my Birthday -- and Katy has been raving about Aces for a good time now, so I figured "why not?"
Aces is great. WAY better than your average yellow or orange taxi cab. They just take it the extra step to set themselves out beyond your normal cab experience and all the little things really show. Easy booking online or on the phone, text confirmations, they were on time, and talk about a stylish and comfy ride! The girl driving me was super sweet and chatty. No awkward silence or forced conversations here. She seemed genuinely friendly and interested, and once she found out it was my birthday had to know all my plans for the evening. She almost didn't let me tip her when I left because it was my birthday -- but I got there just as fast as a cab, and for a lower price at that. She deserved the extra kudos and so does Aces. -

I love these guys, and use them frequently...if they had punch cards I'd be set..They've never been late, and are generally a few minutes early--never making you feel rushed...So far I've had 4 different drivers, and they've all been really friendly and accommodating...infact, it makes me feel like I'm getting a ride home from my brother..not only that, getting in and out of these sleek black lincoln's make me feel quite presidential...Aces are, well, ACES!

Booked them for Prom. They were excellent.
Booked them again at 2:00 am for a 4:45 am trip. They came and picked me up.
One thing that I love is the flat rate as well as the texting! I love being able to text my transportation.
This morning, Aces picked me up promptly in rainy weather and got me where I needed to be. The driver understood that I hadn't had a lot of sleep and chatted with me still. Which completely made my morning.
I don't think that I'll ever use another car service in town. Aces is like Nordstroms to me as Yellow cab is like Macys (yuck!) -

We have used Aces for Hire several times and have had nothing but positive experiences each time. They are reliable, the cars are clean, the drivers are always extremely nice and interesting to talk to---what else can you ask for?

I have taken Aces now multiple times. They are the first call I make when needing a car service, and I will avoid a traditional cab if at all possible. Ace's always makes me and their customers a priority, Always on time, excellent cars in fleets, gear and quick technology for swiping credit cards. This place is really doing something right. Oh and did I mention their customer service & drivers are top notch? - Well they are!

I was in Seattle for a very short visit this week and needed to get from my Hostel in Belltown to the Showbox Sodo. I was thinking about taking the bus to the show, but had gotten my fill of creepy people for the week and really just wanted to relax and not have to wait at a bus stop or deal with a bus at all. I found Aces here on Yelp and I gave them a call around noon the day of my show. Timm was really great when I booked my rides and even let me know that I could TEXT them to make sure my show would be over at 11:30.
The ride to the show was wonderful. Right on time, super comfy, Kyle was my driver and was very friendly and easy to chat with.
11:10 rolls around and the band starts their first encore, which is just about perfect timing for me. I text Aces and let them know that the encore is on and they respond, "sounds great!". I walk out after the show and *walla*, there is that beautiful black town car just for me as everyone else stands in the street to hail a cab.
And the best part? I don't know if this is standard, but they charged me $16 round trip. $16 (before tip, which they deserve lots of!) for a clean, comfortable, SAFE ride with a friendly driver that is cooperative with your event and arrives right on time.
This company is fantastic. I've never been excited to tell other people about a car service, but I've told as many people as I could and will use them every time I'm in Seattle. :) -

ACES is AWESOME! I was heading out of town for a friend's bachelorette party and had a flight I needed to catch. I called an inferior crown car service, I mean town car and was told they couldn't accommodate my request. I emailed ACES and received a call back within 30 minutes saying that although they couldn't do my requested pick-up time of 8AM they could do 7:45AM. DONE!
Melanie our driver was prompt, the car was clean and we even had heated seats if we had wanted to use them. One of the other good parts: $35 from Capitol Hill to the airport. Oh yea! I think I've found my new airport transport. I just need to remember to make a reservation far enough in advance since they do book up.
