I'm a FAN!
I have been to this bar two Fridays in a row. The think the thing that caught my eye about this place was the feel of it. Yes, you do get a lot of hipsters being down town Pomona but, the vibe is super friendly. Being a music junkie its nice to listen to cool tunes (Indie & +) The first time I came it was super busy but yet there was room to hang out. I like that I can have a conversation with people on a couch and have a great time. The drinks they were serving were priced very well, nothing too expensive. The bartenders were very nice and friendly. Next time you're in the area and want to try something different, stop by. Especially if you want to get away from the loud typical "party" bars / clubs.

Awesome bar!
Situated right next to the Glasshouse, it's the perfect place to go get drinks before or after the show (since the Glasshouse is lame & doesn't serve drinks WTF?) The vibe is rather hipster-ish but i love how chill it is there. The bartenders are fast, nice, and on point with the drinks. My only gripe is they don't serve beers on tap or have a happy hour, but I can't complain since drinks are fairly priced. Well considering it is attached a venue. It mostly serves to a younger crowd, and is good place to socialize with the people around you since everyone seems so nice. oh & they have cool fancy bathrooms haha, which isn't typical for a bar.
Acerogami, I will def be a regular & thanks for being one of my fave local bars! :) -

Cool bar.
We stopped in to Acerogami after a show at the Glass House next door and were pleasantly surprised. I wish there were more places like this close to my house.
I loved the brick walls and love seats. That facade, not so much, but the people were great. Even made a few friends!
I was on my best behavior on this night, so it was just beer for me. Pretty cheap, too! They do have a full bar which I'll have to expose my liver to next time I'm there.
I love bars like this that are mellow and unpretentious. No OC housewives here, thank God. Just regular peeps like me and my man looking to chill out and have a few drinks. Definitely coming back.Listed in: Pomona

Acerogami has become my neighborhood bar now that I'm living just a few short blocks away. The drinks are strong and the atmosphere is great. It isn't always the most packed or lively place, but for me thats a plus and it means no waiting in line for a drink. The interior is gorgeous and the furniture was beautifully designed. It's just an all around great bar!

This place is quite awesome. Beautiful ambience, the bartenders are personable and know their craft. Excellent selection of beer! (a rarity in these parts) There were three bartenders on when I was there, Jaclyn, Kevin and Crystal were super nice. I will definitely become a regular.

me likey this bar.
a great bar is composed of a good atmosphere, a good atmosphere for a bar is good prices, good people, good music, good neighborhood, clean bathroom and of course good drinks. acerogami is my favorite bar in pomona for all these reasons.
good prices. the beer selection is pretttttty good. $3 imperials kid. and its oh so smoooth. they got a full bar too. bartenders are pretty nice. i think ive only seen girls so im not going to complain. and they always make the mixed drinks very well.
good music. they dont have a jukebox but its always bumping good music. i havent heard anything i dont like or something that shouldnt be played at a bar. its directly next to the glasshouse too. i wish they had a huge window so i could watch bands while i drink myself silly.
good neighborhood. right in the art colonies of pomona on 2nd street. next to a tattoo parlor in case you wanna make a drunken mistake. its empty all the time and if there is someone there, they are nice people. you could bar hop in this area, but this place is the best. some other bars have uhm... ruffians. ill say ruffians. or scoundrels. i like that better. the security guy is very strict and wont let anyone in without proper ID so all the little kids with fake IDs wont destroy this place.
clean bathroom. THE cleanest at any bar ive been to. period. ive been there on a packed night and somehow that restroom stays clean with no attendant working. kudos!
i like this bar. theres no hype, theres no crazy decor. its just a straight up bar. a few seats and tables. its a nice place for the area definately. i love coming here whenever i can.
A WORD TO THE WISE. this bar is very close to a police station. so bring a designated driver or someone who can handle. ive never been pulled over or anything but ive seen people get DUIs and all that jazz. so be careful. -

Really like this place, especially since it is right next door to The Glasshouse! They have a very good selection of beer on tap and bottle with some being very high in alc (10%+). It did seem somewhat hipster inside (I'm not a hipster fan at all since it seems to attract that crowd) but I was able to put that behind me and enjoy the company of friends. Prices are reasonable and the staff is very nice.
Only been here once but will definitely be back! -

First off, I came here on a wednesday night...so it was completely empty inside with just me, my friend, the bartender and the bouncer. Through the night there were a couple of people that came and went but I think there were no more than 6 people inside this place at one time. I can imagine this place really packed if there was a show at the Glasshouse next door so I was actual relieved to see that it was an off night. The beer selection was pretty adequate with a Stone IPA being my favorite on the list and the Jack Daniels ($5) was also awesome. They poured a hefty amount and I just kept asking for more. It was a nice chill atmosphere and something I definitely prefer than a packed house. Next time I'll come on a weekend to check it out when its a bit more livelier. Also I looked on the other reviews and they were not kidding about cops roaming the streets, since its right next to a courthouse, so you guys better be prepared to have a DD.

It would be nice if there were a pool table, but the crowd here is definitely classier than a dive bar. The drinks are well made and a good value for what you pay. The bartenders are also very friendly.
Keep in mind, this establishment is not open on Sundays (unless there is a show), and closes all other days at 1am. -

I wanted to just chill on a Friday night and we decided to check this place out. I think something was going on next door at the Glass House since there were a lot of people, but street parking was easy to find.
The place itself is so nicely designed. It has such an openness to it. There are a few small tables and 2 couch areas with larger tables for groups. The music was a little loud and made it hard to have a conversation... we just had to speak up a little bit but it wasn't like we were at a club.
I really like the vibe of this place and it was a chill and fun night. Only a couple of negatives to this place... first I feel the menu was lacking. It's on a 5 by 7 note card, one side for mixed drink and one side for beer. The Glass House punch was pretty good. They have a full bar and a good selection of beers, but they should prob have some bar food! It's easy and I think it would help their business. Second, when we got there at 11, it was pretty dead. I think 20 more people arrived by the time we left and made it more lively, but it wasn't crowded at all. Someone told us that normally people don't go to this bar unless there was a show going on at the Glass House or at the Fox... Lastly, I saw a lot of cop cars around... Be careful if you drink and drive!
A fight also broke out outside while we were there between a girl and a guy... pretty entertaining! -

A great place to relax and unwind after a longgg day. Not sure how this place is on the weekends but when I arrived on a thursday evening around 9pm there were only ~ 7 other people. The decor is very simple and chic and it's quite spacious. Drink prices were surprising good. My favorite chambord sour + Stella Artois = $12! For such a nice place I thought it'd be $10 each, like most bars I've been too.
Side note: This would be a great place to have a social/mixer if you go to school around the area, take note of the head count though :P -

How could you go wrong with a bar right next to The Glasshouse? Try their signature drinks, and for all you hipsters out there: they carry PBR's in tall cans.

Friday night 1030pm . A modern chic bar with a casual relaxed vibe. I enjoy bars where I can wear my Chuck Taylors to. The dim lighting was calming and everyone seemed to be enjoying their drink and convo. Although the female bartenders were busy, they both still acknowledged us and poured our drinks within 3 min.
ACEROGAMI has possibly changed my opinion on Pomona forever. -

First timer,
Really nice bar next to the glass house. I hear artist come here to drink before or after their shows =x
Great prices as well, even though i was a DD that night they game a coke for free! Then again we were in a group of 4 and they all order some fancy drink. The seating is really intimate low lighting, the greeter gave us a gentle reminder that when it was last call for drinks. If i ever take people out for a drink its got to be this nice little bar of Pomona. -

I love this bar!
It is my go-to for a dive bar that isn't a dive bar. Their Imperial beers are $3 bucks, tall cans of PBR $5. Mixed average around $6-7. The atmosphere is classy without having to pay for it. It's usually pretty empty, but I don't mind that.
Only cons, it closes at 1am. However, DBA is around the corner so we usually just walk there after.
Yay acerogami! -

Super cute spot! The layout is nice-it's a great set-up for some open mic nights, other performances, and loungin' about. I love the leather sofa/couch seats, and the chill atmosphere.
I came here on a Thursday night and it was empty, which was perfect for hanging out time with Jessica O! I got a mai tai and she loaded that drink up with just a splash of juice it seemed. I drank half of it and was already buzzed for a good hour or so. The prices were good btw, which is always a plus!! -

#333 First of all, take note of the fact that I dropped by Acerogami on a Monday night. So, the place was obviously much less crowded and rowdy than it could possibly get on a Saturday night. Regardless, I absolutely loved this place. The guys at the door were super chill and, of course, had to check I.D. But they were really friendly and chatted to us while we had to go through the motions of handing over our licenses.
Once inside, the bartender got to us right away and asked us what we were interested in. I was up for some rum after my Petite Syrah at dba256 and she immediately suggested the Serial Killer. One look at the menu and I was sold - three types of rum, pineapple juice, orange juice, and grenadine? Heck yeah! My friend, on the other hand, was looking at their martinis but wasn't really interested in what she saw. So, the bartender took her tastes (cranberry, raspberry, etc.) and mixed up a nice drink for her. I loved my Serial Killer and it went down especially smooth. The glass was much larger than what's expected at most lounges so it was definitely worth the $7 I paid for it. It took me a good 45 minutes to nurse the drink down and it did the trick.
The decor inside is very minimalist. Very dark, sleek, and shady in all the right places. We were seated at the bar, but the couches looked rather comfy. Plus, their pub tables were nicely situated between the areas. The architecture at the front reminds me of Diamond Ranch High School and I had flashbacks looking through the glass windows. The bar itself is rather impressive, with their entire collection of alcohol prominently displayed. Since it was a Monday night, we had the place to ourselves for the most part. So, we had an easy time chatting the night away. Everybody else in the place seemed to be enjoying themselves very much, though most left for the concert after a while. I'm definitely impressed with Acerogami and I'm definitely keeping downtown Pomona in my books for future outings. -

Stopped in after seeing a few bands at The Glasshouse, and what a beautiful bar this place is! The lounge is equipped with handmade wood tables, all geometric shapes, and the couches/furniture are cozy. The bar had a wide variety to choose from, and the music fit well with the atmosphere. No TVs, no pool tables or pinball machines, just a good ole American bar to hang out and have a drink.

Right next to The Glass House. Nice place to have a few before a concert. I order Amarreto for 6 bucks. I was surprised that the bartender filled up my 8 oz glass to the top.....no complaints here! Service was great. Plenty of seating to lounge...the bar seats were so comfortable.

I love this place.
Fair priced drinks, nice bar tenders, great music, aesthetically pleasing, clean bathrooms, and spacious.
Just what downtown Pomona and The Glass House (since they don't serve alcohol but do have ins-and-outs) needs!
Only problem - it closes at 1. Boo! -
Review from Ryan M.
Right next to the Glass House (rock band venue) in Pomona. I must say when I first came in here, i was expecting some acid trip Japanese art from the 90s. Instead I see the Technicolor rainbow, a modern bar and some comfortable couches (neat).
While awaiting for a friend (the birthday guy) to show up to his own party running late, it was interesting to see everyone was chill (almost). I sat next to the birthday guy's friends whom I wasn't too familiar with and within 10 minutes it was like pick up artists central meets Tila Tequila's a shot at love (without the lesbian action). Beyond the dating games and modern but somewhat sophisticated atmosphere, the drink specials weren't that bad.
Shots of Grey Goose for 8 bucks and 7 bucks for Jack and coke, it's a recession deal to some. Bathroom line was a breeze didn't need to wait in line unlike some of the LA and Orange County clubs/bars/lounges I've been to in the past. Overall, everyone had a good time wish the space had a dance floor and maybe, just maybe it would have been perfect. Cheers! -

Great spot in downtown Pomona. I like coming by during the week when it's slower and less crowded than the weekend or a show night. Drinks are fairly priced and pretty good though I've found there is some variation in quality depending on who is working that night. Only complaint is the bouncer who sits at the bar and rushes you at the door and gets way too close as soon as you walk in, as if he's expecting you to bolt around him and order a drink before he can catch you. Dude needs to calm down a bit. Other than that, one of my favorite bars to drink at near home.

went to pomona for a get up kids show, which was fanfuckingtastic-but we waited out the opening bands inside of Acerogami.
the bird and I dont really hang in bars unless we are in nyc or whatever other city we wake up in,and this place felt like our home in pomona after just a few sips of our good and strong mixed drinks.
Cement, exposed brick,leather,steel,glass...epic barthrooms ...even the staff was cool and semi good tunes (didnt matter what they were actually).
the FEEL of a spot is really important to us,and ace has it..I'm not sure how else to explain it..been in bars and lounges for 20 years.. we even own a lounge in costa mesa..and when we're going to see bands in pomona,we will def be leaving a little earlier to hang at ace.

Never would have thought one of my all time favorite places to chill and enjoy a drink would be in Pomona. Back in the day when i attended ULV I attended many shows at the Glass House. Once the show was over my friends and I would immediately walk to our cars and get the heck out of Dodge because downtown Ptown was not exactly a place to hang out after hours.
Wow, Ptown or at least the downtown area has changed and one of the coolest spots is Acerogami. This bar is next to the Glass House which makes it convenient to get a quick drink before a concert.
What i like about this place is all are welcomed: emo, punkers, cholos, white folk, James Dean look-alikes, etc... Everybody here is here to chill, no frontin allowed. I just really enjoyed the atmosphere, its dimly lit, the sofa and seats are comfortable, very little artwork on the walls to distract from the conversation and the place just feels like home. Its truly what a lounge should be.
I'm happy that Pomona has been able to attract these kinds of establishments, its quite a nice change from what this area used to be, full of sketchy stores. The whole area has transformed into a cool arts colony which is actually safe to walk around after midnight. No more dodging drive-bys, drug slinging, prostitution. I comment Pomona for their work in the area.
Acerogami, definitely a place I will look forward to coming back to.Listed in: Drinks dot com

I know I have written a reveiw of this palce in the past but i dont know where it went. This place is a definite hipster hangout. I have been here twice so I can confirm this to be true lol. The last time I went there I opened the door and was almost knocked back by the intense smell of weed that the bouncer had on him it was horrible. The drinks here are cheap wich is always a plus and the bartenders are really friendly its just the crowed you have to watch out for.

Los Angeles, CA
This place looks super frou-frou, with its swanky interior and modern light art on the walls.
But drinks are super-cheap compared to what the atmosphere makes it out to be. Unfortunately, they are also kinda weak - $8 for an AMF that was more ice than drink. No mint, either, so to my friend's dismay, no mojitos.
This place is laid-back and the bartenders seem alright (she hooked up my friend with a free drink out of the blue). A good place to catch some drinks away from the all-ages crowd during crappy opening bands. But I don't think I'd ever, ever go out of my way, to Pomona, to drink here. -

This place has cheap drinks and it's right next to The Glass House. It also has a very appealing interior and exterior design that screams "modern architecture!" It's like partying in someone's expensive ass New York loft and the host is a really easy-going guy that likes the same shit you do. -

If I could live at this bar I would grab my kittens and set up shop inside, this is the perfect place.
Growing up going to The Glass House every moment possible I was stunned to see how beautifuly the once small room of the gh got converted into this sleek, moody, lounge. Very impressed!!!
Everytime I visit back home this is going to be my top spot to visit.
As soon as you walk in you feel like you've stepped into an other world. A world full of beautiful architecture, darkness, and alcohol heaven! I almost feel like a hip awesome vampire here. If there's one thing my new residence is missing is a bar like this.
The drinks are strong, bartenders are really nice, and the prices are average. Bravo to the owners, they did a fabulous job on this one! -

Came here with a couple of friends to get our drink on before going over to The Glasshouse located next door to this super convenient bar!! This is a full service bar, but when going over the beer menu, I decided to order up a tall boy of PBR!! This beauty cost 5 dollars..well worth the money! I had two and was ready to get my Minus The Bear on next door! I will return every time I go to a show at the glasshouse!! Its super convenient, the ladies behind the bar are very nice, and the bar itself is super clean, including the bathrooms!! All in all a great little bar to partake in some adult beverages, before an all ages show!

I'm not much of a drinker. I rarely go to bars because my vice is a good record store but that's a whole another review.
My night started with me needing to kill sometime before a show at The Glasshouse and I wanted a drink. I noticed a bar next door. I showed my id to one of the nicest security guards ever and I was in. The drinks are cheap which was nice for my wallet. It means more money for my other vice. The bartenders are super nice.
The atmosphere is lovely with some really good music. Anytime you can sip your drink while Blonde Redhead is softly playing the in background well that's your favorite scene in the movie of your life.
I will be drinking here again. -

This is my favorite bar in the area. They don't play the music so loud that you have to scream to hear the people you're with. The bartenders are knowledgeable about drinks and extremely friendly. The decor is amazing! Every detail about the bar, from the ceiling to the bathroom fixtures, was thought out and this adds to the overall experience, which is awesome! Location is great and prices are reasonable.

1. Not a Japanese establishment. No chicken teriyaki. At all.
2. Sip your drinks and take in the ultra industrial vibes.
3. Check out the bathroom.
4. After a while you'll forget you're in Pomona, CA
5. Oh, leave the attitude and bullet-proof vest at the door. Please.
