I sprained my ankle a few weeks ago and was not happy with my first PT.  I saw the great rating that ACE's PT got and would have to agree that Don is "da man."   I like that he is professionally knowledgable, friendly and has a sense of humor...who would've thunk?

I highly recommend ACE's PT if you want that in depth knowledge and special attention, coz you know, it should be  "all about you!"

So about six weeks after surgery, the doc said it was time for some PT.  I knew I needed it.  I just couldn't move around very well.  My bad knee was *ruining* my summer!

I picked ACE because it was close to the office.  Wow did I luck out!

Within a week, I'm not limping, climbing stairs and driving a clutch.  If you had seen me before, you wouldn't believe it.

    P.S. Don is a Burner.
Don & TJ just kick a whole lotta ass.  I cannot thank them enough!

Don is the freakin' man.  This is actually a small practice located in the San Francisco Tennis Club.  I only chose it because it was close to work, boy did I luck out!

After some jackass stepped out in front of my bike, I went ass over tea kettle and separated my shoulder.  I went to the Ortho at St. Mary's and was scared because everyone in the waiting room was geriatric.  I thought, hmm, maybe I should be at a sports medicine doctor.  I picked Ace off the list of PTs they gave me and called up and was able to get an appointment almost immediately.

One of the first things you notice about ACE (Don) is that he is extremely knowledgeable.  He's got degrees in all kinds of stuff, but that's not what gets you.  It's the fact that almost every time I was in there for PT, someone would drop by and ask his opinion on something.  People were asking Don to double check what their doctor told them.  I know that after having done the PT that Don told be to do for about the past 9 months, I'm going to schedule an appt. with Don for my 1 year followup, not with the Orthopedic surgeon.  I really trust Don that much more.  Some guy came in with an ankle that was totally wrecked and Don checked him out.  He never lets a visitor get in the way of his regular appt. however, he's very dedicated and diligent.

Another thing that was great about Don was that he doesn't treat you like a moron.  Just through chatting Don learned that I'd lifted weights on and off over the years and he immediately started talking to me 'at my level' for lack of a better expression.  When there were other people in there (teenagers, older men, older women) he paid personal attention to each and made sure they understood exactly what they needed to know about their particular therapy.

Plus, he took my insurance without any hassles!  (discaimer, my wife does work for Super Duper Mega Corp Inc.)

I'm usually afraid to write reviews on Yelp because I don't want my favorite places to get swamped, but since hopefully I won't need PT to often, I'm totally happy to recommend ACE PT.

I totally lucked out when I found ACE though my insurance. They are prompt, organized and they know what they are doing!! (all things that have been missing with experiences other places)
Don is AWESOME. He took the time to have a good conversation with my doc, and is always attentive and caring. My issues are big, I did not have much hope of getting better when I started and I am happy to report that I am totally improving. The results are great!
I highly recommend going to ACE, they have been a lifesaver for me.
Bonus points: parking in the garage. you have to pay, (~$2/hour) but its cheap and worth it.

It was my turn to be the old fool who got injured at a company soccer tourney, and ended up with a 3rd degree ankle sprain. I've now been seeing Don 2-3 times a week for the past 4 weeks, and him and his team have worked wonders. They're fun and friendly to boot, and I'll positively go back should I ever need PT again.

Found Ace (for my husband) through my insurance company + location is great when going to or from work using Caltrain.  The therapy is great as the massages clearly work wonders while the suggested stretches at home make a big differnce.  My husband isnt pain free - that would take a small miracle - but we have seen the biggest improvement to date.

I recommend Ace, they clearly know what they are doing.
