She is great petsitter and very thorough. We have used her services for the last 5 years and she has been flawless and she loves our dogs. Her notes are detailed and very observant. She truly is very caring. I've used other pet sitters before and she is the best. Used to put the dogs in kennels before where have to live with the incessant barking of other dogs, it must have driven them crazy, never will go back to that. And with Anne, it's so easy.

There are so many ways that Anne exceeded my expectations that I hope I remember them all here. My husband and I went on a long weekend trip and needed someone to watch our two dogs. For full disclosure, we have two dogs and three cats. The cats are self-sufficient for short trips, but obviously the dogs need more attention. We looked at boarding options, but really liked the idea of keeping them at home. I found Anne's website through an Austin Pet Sitter website and sent her an email inquiry. As with all emails and calls exchanged since then, she responded promptly and was extremely professional. We arranged a home visit and she came to meet our menagerie. Her prices were very reasonable (check her website for current rates), and she did not charge us extra for the cats even though she topped off their food and freshened their water (something she did on her own initiative just to make sure they were comfortable). The dogs loved her. She left detailed notes of what she did on each visit, even down to what manner of business the dogs performed outside. We had left two stuffed kong toys with instructions to give them to the dogs on one of the days that we were gone. She did that, but also refilled them so they would have a treat to relieve boredom each day. We lost a remote control to chewing one day - not the first time this has happened and we usually would have the remotes out of reach but forgot to put one away this time. After they chewed it up, Anne removed the pieces, checked to make sure they had not eaten the batteries or other dangerous parts, and moved ALL electronic items behind our TV and took a standing lamp out of their way. She also notified us via phone immediately. Finally, due to my fantastic ability to screw up time zone calculations, we got back to town much later than we'd expected. When Anne had not heard from us by 5pm (she'd left a note that morning asking us to call so we could arrange getting our house key back) she went back to the house and let the dogs out again. I came home to happy, healthy pups and even some pleased cats. I will definitely be using Ace Pet Care again, and I highly recommend Anne's services to anyone that wants the best care for their pets.

Because of my love for animals, neighbors and friends have always relied upon me to take care of their pets when they were on vacation. I am also the person people come to with questions about puppy issues, for solutions to pet behavior problems, or just general advice.
When I decided to move to Austin, I also decided that it was time I returned to my first love -- which is caring for animals.
