Umm, it's not that kind of karaoke place...or that kind either...your pants stay zipped the entire time!
This is the retail outlet of http://AceKaraoke.com, who I believe to be the largest karaoke reseller in America. You can see this karaoke superstore as you drive down the 5 fwy as you pass Halloween Club, BBQs Galore, EZ-Up factory outlet, some gameroom shop and all of those other business that you have always noticed and been mildly curious about, but never knew how to find on Firestone Blvd.
Walking in, the employees stare at me as dumbfounded as I look at them, giving each other that "you're not Asian, why are you in a karaoke store" look (although I believe the management is). Exploring Ace Karaoke, you will find that they in fact have EVERYTHING on site...Looking for a kick ass PA system?, a multidisc CD+G changer?, a wireless duet mic for your Magic Sing system (the magic mic)?, a fog machine?, maybe you're looking for that new Jaime Foxx jam that the kids like...yeah, they've got it all...Ooooh, and pick a language: English, Spanish, Mandarin, Indonesian, of course Tagalog and all the rest...there is something for everyone here.
Prices are fairly aggressive and they have matched competitors' prices for me in the past. I just wish the cashier would stop telling me I look like Kevin Smith! -

DO NOT BUY HERE! Switch & bait techniques! They offer price matching and in-store discounts of 20% but when you get here, the sales rep gets on the phone with a supposed manager who then tells you some reason why they cant offer you the discount. There are alot of online Karaoke outfits (most owned by the same people with different names). Take your time and do your research before spending your hard earned money! Am dealing with the company and will write an updated review if they do the right thing!

It's not easy to find decent music for Karaoke machines, so I had to give my respects to Ace Karaoke. I got a Karaoke machine for home a couple years ago for the kids, and the music that is out there is really bad. Ace was the only place I could find anywhere near Orange County where they've got a full professional supply of thousands(?) of karaoke CDs from every type of music you could want. This is where the pros go for their stuff - at least that what it seems like. You can buy off their website, but really you should go there once for the experience. I walked out of there with something like a couple dozen new discs and no longer have to endure Brittany Spears impressions. I know they have other locations around LA - but this is pretty much it. Hope this helps!

i purchased a KOD-800 from their website http://acekaroake.com and at the time of purchase over the phone, the sales representative had promised a free update of songs within a year. it's been almost a year, and i contacted them, however they then proceeded to tell me that the machine i had could only hold 30 more songs approximately and that i would need to upgrade the hardrive for the karoake machine and that would cost me another 300 dollars. why did no one mention this at the time of purchase, isn't it a scam to say that it's free then?!
