Ace is A+! My teenage son has been going to this studio for 2 years now and has flourished physically, personally and spiritually. The instructors are knowledgeable and well versed in the discipline and model the right way to master the techniques. This is not a factory pumping out belts...the students really have to earn it through tests and actual match ups in competition outside of the studio at the numerous sanctioned tournaments. Asa, Chris, Eric, Fernando and the rest of the instructors are phenomenal with the young students, as well as the not so young, motivating and encouraging to put in their best effort, which translates outside of the studio. Come by and put on a Gi (for a free roll around) and see for yourself what a great atmosphere this is to learn Jiu-Jitsu and the mixed martial arts.

DO NOT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEIR 30 DAY FREE TRIAL IT IS A RIP OFF!!! My deadline for cancelling my 30 day trial was on April 15. I called and spoke directly with Steve on April 12 and explained to him my financial situation had changed drastically. He informed me that i needed to cancel in writing and i had to send an email to acebjj@yahoo.com. I did just that and today i get my credit card statement for this past month and they are still charging me a monthly fee of $129.99. Steve promised me that if for any reason i was not happy i would get back the $150 deposit and would not be charged any monthly fees of $129.99. ITS ALL LIES! DO NOT TRUST THEM!

dont trust this place! i went and try out for this place and these people keep rushing me to sign a contract. in the beginning they really nice but then not so good. i dont trust this place, they promise a lot but not really live up to it

I love Ace. I've trained at many different jiu jitsu and mma gyms and this is my favorite. All the instructors are amazing and very attentive. The feel of the gym is very laid back, with no attitude in anyway. There is something for everyone: from beginners to advanced, as there are usually more than one black belt on the mat at all times. One of my favorite things about Ace is that every night, we work takedown techniques prior to working ground techniques. I believe my takedowns have improved greatly in my time here. After Jiu Jitsu class on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights there are Muay Thai and Boxing classes. Also, the price is right. Lastly, the kids class is supposed to be phenomenal. Check us out.

This place is way more than just Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), they have it all, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), Mauy Thai (Kick Boxing) and Grappling. They have 3 black belts on the mat everyday. Its right near my warehouse in HB so i drop by and get a quick roll on. They got good kids program too.
