The people here are extremely helpful. I needed to cut a small rod to length I had not purchased there and they were glad to help.
It is back in the corner down from Fry's Grocery.

We are a full service Hardware store, Special orders welcome, complete Expanded plumbing, electrial, lawn and garden departments with experienced personal. Extensive fasteners, metric, chrome, stainless, automotive *speciality fastners*, cooler supplies and parts - both residential and commercial, pipe cutting, Glass cutting and a Great Screen department we rescreen or build from scratch with energy saving sun screen (fiberglass available). we specialize in keys and re-keying with a broad line of keys* color, decorative and special keys. Very large selection of Chrome & stainless steel bolts...and a great staff to help you.
We carry Benjamin Moore and Ace Paint with computer color matching!
History
Established in 1952
Hardware has been our family tradition for over 54 years. We have served happy customers by meeting their needs. Our first store was opened by Harold Kazan and his father-in-law Max Reimer at 35th Ave and McDowell Rd.They named the business K and R Hardware.
Customers quickly recognized our dedication to customer satisfaction knowing we could meet their varied needs and we affiliated with Ace Hardware to obtain the best selection and prices for our customers.
In 1978 Harold expanded his business by opening another store at Union Hills and 19th Ave. Orginally Harold and Lee ran the business with their son Barry Kazan and they were quickly joined by their daughter, Lala.
Today Lee and Lala still realize Customer satisfaction is due to their many knowledgable employees and we pride ourselves in meeting our customers needs and expectations.
Meet the Business Owner: Lee and Lala K.
Lee has owned and operated this great business for over 54 years. First working with her Husband and Father. In 1975 Barry, her son worked on the operation of the business with a new out look and dedication which brought continued sucess.
They all worked together recognized what their customers needed and changed constantaly with the times. They listened to their employees and customers to stay sucessful.
Lala brought another aspect to the business, coming from a marketing back ground. She added her own taste and style to the store keeping it looking new and up to date.
Together with the knowledge of their employees they keep in touch with the neighborhood and to this day change with the customers needs even on a day to day basis
