    Like the others review state:
    -This place is bare bones
    - Corny instrumental music in background
    - Not a private room swedish massage

BUT: This no frills approach is exactly what I needed when I woke up with my whole body aching from a new workout program. Lupi was incredible intuitive and worked out every knot in my back and body for that matter (1 hour $45). Could not have asked for a more effective massage.

Ever feel like you just want someone to dig in there and work the crap out of a spot? They do it. Are you into the experience more than the massage? Sorry, not for you.

    I will be back!

Holy surprise.  I am so glad for Yelp because I never would have even noticed this place without it, or would have just walked by thinking it is some seedy massage parlor.

    Not.

For $45 (they charge a couple dollars more if you use credit card) I got THE best massage I have had yet and I've tried a few of these type of places.
I was in the worst pain all week at work and this was the best thing I could have done for myself- that night and next morning I woke up totally pain-free finally.
The little lady had some strength- using her elbows, working every kink out of my shoulder, back and a little too much in the butt area but hey- I hear that part stores up a lot of tension.

Quiet, relaxing music, good scents, seemed clean enough and just curtains separating so don't expect total privacy.  But for the pain and constant stiffness relief this massage brought me it deserves a full 5 stars.

Tip to Ace:  Wish you guys offered a frequent visitor card- I bet it would get you even more repeat visitors!

I twisted my right foot at the ankle. It was painful. I went to the Ace Body Work. I must say, they are professional and very reasonalble. The massage really helps me to recover. I highly recommend this place!

"Don't use your elbows, use your fingers!"
This came from the guy next to me.

For those thinking about coming here, consider these:
It's not a cruise ship swedish massage
It's Chinese pressure point (they use elbows)
So know what the place is about before you go
    $45 for an HOUR!!!!!

    I will be back

As described by all... bare bones, but what lacked from many of the other reviews was the strong intuitive knot working massage.  The massage was fine and felt good in the end, but I really would have liked a more significant deeep knot breaking massage.  This was just okay.

I was worked on by Lupy (sp?) who did an excellent job - particularly intuitive and strong when working on problem areas like lower back, shoulders and between the shoulder blades. Very professional.

The environment is spartan - no partitions, just curtains, and the other staff wander through - so one is either comfortable with that or not!

This is my secret/favorite spot near home.  It's affordable enough to treat yourself to it once a week and the ladies here to an INCREDIBLE job.  30 minutes is more than enough and they listen to you and work on the knots.  I LOVE THIS PLACE.

Totally came here on a whim b/c I had a terrible back situation from my plane ride home. HOLY MOLY so happy that we did! now this place will  be a fixture in my life! Emma (not positive that's her name, couldn't really understand perfectly) gave me my massage and honestly after I really felt like amazingly limber; no longer the stiffness I had from my flight.

Joanne gave my friend his massage and he was equally as relaxed as a limp noodle.

    HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

P.S. call before going, they are just 2 busy little ladies so check what time they're free.

P.P.S if you're looking for fancy spa scenario, this is NOT the place for you.

P.P.P.S they are surprisingly strong teeny ladies and will unknot all your kinks. So if this is a strong massage is not your thing, you might need to tell them to ease up a bit.

Loved it. Hard....but soft when instructed. Best massage in town..I used to get massages in a spa for $ 125..this here is better and 1/3 the price! sanitary and personal.

Totally worth it. These ladies are super nice and not too expensive. My friend and I had sessions with emma and gigi. It seemed really clean and I think I kept hearing an instrumental version of last christmas. We're definitely going back. See you there!

To be honest, I was really hesitant about going to a hole in the wall massage place, but when my boyfriend convinced me that $25 is unbeatable for a half hour massage (true), we went. And thank goodness! No frills, no waiting, no front. Just a good, cheap, relaxing massage. Very nice staff and the hot towels at the end were the best. Now I feel much better about places like this and would definitely go back!

masseuses are definitely well trained from china

place is not pretty like a spa but staff is professional and experienced
if you mainly want a good massage
    you can't beat the value

I would marry Joanne if she were a man! Her massage is the best. There are two ladies that work there. She only takes cash, no plastic allowed. If you're a softer type though she might need to lighten up a bit. Price is great. Be aware of the swinging makeshift curtain when getting dressed, you dont wanna give some random person an alternate happy ending.
