When I first moved up here and was looking for a new mechanic, I gave these guys a try because of their proximity to my house. I got about 2 oil changes, a window repair and some quotes. One of the quotes was for brakes and I couldn't believe what they came up with. They said it needed about $1200 worth of repairs just for brakes/rotors. Thankfully I got a referral to another mechanic and the car only needed about $220 worth of parts/labor. I know we've all heard the horror stories about some mechanics, but man, I've never really experienced it like this before. I can understand $50-$100 difference, but $1000 difference? Really? I didn't realize I was bent over when I asked for a quote!
