OK, so usually I do my taxes myself. But my wife and I were recently married and in addition to multiple W-2s we had some 1099s, too. And we had moved and we had been students for part of the year... I tried to do my taxes online through a couple of different programs and they were popping up with results that I didn't like. In case you're wondering--what I didn't like was the amount I owed. Yikes!
We took our stuff to Randy and the folks at Accounting Services hoping that they could find write-offs and other things we were missing. It's a five-star review so you can guess what happened. We ended up with small refunds on our state and federal tax returns. Excellent news since when I had tried to do it myself I was looking to pay a pretty hefty sum.
Now, it wasn't a perfect experience... but Randy and his team followed through to the end to make sure we were satisfied and all was well. You know how you've gone to a restaurant and something's not right with your order and the waiter is apologetic and gets it fixed and the manager checks on you and everyone gets you what you need? You leave feeling good. That's how we felt after dealing with Accounting Services. Check 'em out--they'll take care of you. Two thumbs up for their customer service! -

Randy and his knowledgeable and helpful team are top notch. Our previous accountant disappeared with all of our documentation. Randy knows his stuff, got everything we needed, got us caught up, relieved our anxiety of the situation and literally saved us thousands!! They are very responsive and do exactly what they say they will do. We love you guys and you will be stuck with us for a long time.

I really have to hand it to Accounting Services, Randy made me feel welcome and explained everything thoroughly. Saved me a few extra hundred dollars on top of my usual return by understanding current law changes. I gave him my last 3 year returns by old accountants and he was able to save me over $3,000.-! I knew I would be able to get something back from amending previous filings, but never in my wildest dreams did I think I would get that much.
