I recently had my sofa cleaned by Shane and it was a great experience. There were special circumstances ... the sofa had been in a smoky room due to a fire in my previous apartment building, and I discussed this with him on the phone beforehand. He said he would do his best and even if he couldn't get it all out it would be an improvement. The price he quoted was very reasonable so we set up an appointment. He showed up on time and not only did my sofa but both sides of the mattress (it's a sleeper sofa) and also the fabric-covered seat of my computer chair, for no extra charge. Everything looks great now and the sofa hardly smells at all (I think the average person wouldn't smell a thing but my nose is completely sensitized to that SMELL now and I can detect one molecule). It was such a relief not to have to throw it out as a new one is not in the budget right now.
Shane was very personable and professional and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anybody needing carpet or upholstery cleaning. -

We just had Shane clean our carpet today. He did a fantastic job at a very competitive price. He came on time and was very conscientious in getting all the stains and dirt out. By the time he was done, it was as though our carpet was brand new.

Shane did a fantastic job with 2700 sq ft of carpet. Professional to a tee, perfection to the hilt, the carpets look great. Just sold that house and offered the buyer *no* carpet credit on 7 year old carpets...thanks in large part to Shane's great work! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him!

Great job. Was in a tough spot when had to get carpets done and guy, Pablo from Millers Carpet showed up with a horrible attitude and left without doing the job. I'll never use them again, but no worries. Accountable moved his schedule around to fit me in. I only had a short time window due to the previous issue and he knocked it out as quick as can be. Great price and carpets look great. I'll be calling you soon for Tile. Thanks again!

Wow. So I got a call yesterday from Shane, he visited the day before, to follow up and see if everything was good to go. My husband and I were blown away because NOBODY does that. The only other time that has happened is with my physical therapist.
So, the dozens of stains that were in our microfiber couch are gone and the coffee stain that resulted from an ENTIRE cup of coffee spilling on the floor months ago-also GONE. No traces.
We live in an apartment and so our carpet is this cheap blue cr*p. I swear it feels softer since the cleaning, though I did not think that would be possible.

Shane is amazing!
After reading all of his wonderful yelp reviews, I called Shane and asked him to come by to take a look at the carpet in my office. It was so gross, but he was confident he could have it looking as good as new. He quoted me a cost (and stuck to it), arrive on time, and even did all of the heavy lifting for me (the last carpet cleaners made me move everything out of the way for them).
Shane was great to work with, and our carpet looks as perfect as the day it was installed. -

This business gets five stars! From the get go Shane (owner) was pleasant to schedule the appointment, flexible with my schedule, and gave me a very reasonable quote. He came to my house on time and ready to do the job. Very hard working and detail oriented. This is the only place that I will get my couches and carpet cleaned!

As clean, courteous & professional as they get. Thorough, almost to a fault, but diligent and fast. No bs or small talk that wasted my time or his. This guy is a find . . . Shane is too nice. My huge couch is almost new again, and this was a last ditch effort to avoid buying a new one. He also did a very high traffic staircase, which came out great. All that in less than 2 hours for only $135. (competitors wanted way more).
Better work, better service and less money just seems too good . . . But it's true. -

We have really light beige colored micro-fiber furniture that is 8 years old and was showing every bit of 8 years and two grandsons. We had been contemplating buying new furniture, but decided to try once more to have the furniture cleaned before a party. We were able to get Shane last minute to clean the furniture and he was right on time.
Shane looked over the furniture and said he could get it clean. He spent extra time on one of the couches that we thought was not dirty but ruined. True to his word got them clean even the one we didn't think was salvageable. So clean that my mother in law actually thought we had purchased new furniture and she visits every week. The cleaning was so great we asked Shane to do two staircases and a hallway. Shane was able to do it and the price was great.
Not only was the workmanship fantastic and the price could not be beat, customer service is back. It's not often you can find a business like this and we are so glad we did. So glad we will not have to worry about finding another company when we decide to clean the rest of the carpets. When other reviews say they would give more than five stars they are exactly right. Great job Shane and thanks for the great service. -

Before my boyfriend got his couch cleaned, I refused to sit on it without having some sort of covering on it. After months of roommates sleeping on it, there were a lot of mystery stains and smells.
From the start he was very professional and quoted a decent price. When he came over, he assessed the couch, and actually reduced his rate from what he had quoted on the phone. That was a first! He was right on time and worked really hard. It took him about an hour to clean the couch, and he was incredibly thorough. He even encouraged me to call him back if any of the stains came back after cleaning, or if I had any problems.
I will definitely be using him again to clean couches, carpets, etc. I highly recommend him. -

Fast, inexpensive and AWESOME!!!
I recently met Shane (the owner) in passing and thought it was about time I get the carpets cleaned. He sounded inexpensive so I figured it was worth a try. I have to say that I am VERY IMPRESSED. The pet stains are completely gone and our carpet doesn't make the house smell like a pet store anymore.
It's worth mentioning that he was on time, courteous and made several considerations for our furniture while the carpet was still drying.
EXCELLENT SERVICE!
Now I have another problem. My girlfriend wants to have her parents over to the house more, now that the stains and smell are gone.
Ummm, thanks???

I wish there were more stars - because Shane deserves even more than 5 stars! Here's our story:
We called Shane at Accountable Carpet Cleaning because we were referred to him by Justin at SoCal Steam Clean. Justin couldn't fit us in when we wanted our carpets done, and he highly recommended Shane.
We called Shane and discussed the problems we were experiencing with our carpet (mainly recurring stains, and very dirty carpet in high traffic areas). Shane was very professional and gave us possible reasons why the stains might be recurring. We were happy with his level of knowledge and the price he offered - because it included the deep stain cleaning work, along with the regular carpet cleaning. (We were tired of having carpet cleaners here for $69.95 who would then try to upsell us for every little thing - we'd rather just agree on a price up front!)
Shane arrived exactly when he said he would - even called ahead. He worked hard and was very thorough. But what impressed us most was his responsiveness to problems... we had some issues after the carpet dried (something called re-wicking). He came back two more times the next week after he was done with his other scheduled jobs to take care of it and make sure our job was done right. He even purchased a special product to take of our particular situation.
We will definitely have him back again when its time to clean our carpets next, or maybe to do some upholstery cleaning - we hear he's great at that too!
Whether you have an easy job or a tough one, we would highly recommend Shane and Accountable Carpet Cleaning. -

I had Shane come over to clean my raggedy sofa recently. He showed up promptly and even gave me a courtesy call know exactly when he was going to be over. His work was very good and also very thorough. He made sure to explain exactly what was going to happen and took the time to do the job right. The price was right too. If your sofa needs a cleaning, I would recommend Accountable carpet, tile & upholstery cleaning. What a mouthful of a name, but a good service nonetheless.

I did a lot of research before selecting someone to clean our carpets after moving out of our rental home. Yelp definitely steered me in the right direction.
I called the listed phone number and received a prompt answer in a human voice! Shane was able to schedule me for the exact date and time I requested. He confirmed all information over the phone and asked a few questions to determine what would need to be done and where he could park his van, etc. He gave me a quote over the phone, which he actually honored when he showed up, unlike other companies.
Shane showed up on time, like exactly on time, maybe even a few minutes early. This was a huge relief because hanging out in a house with no furniture or contents isn't too fun. He reviewed the carpet with me, so I could point out any spots I thought would need extra care and confirmed the quoted price.
The cleaning process was quick and thorough. He was able to remove all the stains that were in the three carpeted rooms, except the stains/bleached areas that were permanent and from a previous tenant. To be honest, I don't know if anyone would be able to remove them or not. I told Shane not to even bother with those areas as far as stain treatment. My thoughts are that they would have been impossible, because I think the carpet wasn't stained so much as bleached of all color.
Anyway. The high traffic hallway looked amazing! It was better than when we moved in, and it almost made you think that the carpet wasn't crappy bottom of the line branded. :)
Even though he knew we were moving out-of-state, Shane still made a follow-up call to make sure the carpet dried well and the stains were completely removed.
So, summary time, Shane is honest, reliable, and skilled. You can not find a better person for carpet cleaning in San Diego in my opinion! -

Just like a previous poster said....there is not enough stars on yelp to rate Shane. I asked him to clean a couple couches and a matress. He worked really hard and was able to get stains out I didn't think would come out. I only paid what he originally quoted but he even cleaned the carpet on my stairs no extra charge. Truly SUPERIOR service and I recommend him to anyone who wants anything clean.

I decided to use Accountable based solely on the Yelp reviews, and I'm glad I did. Shane did an awesome job of getting my sectional perfect. He showed up right on time, and stuck to his quote. He even did my ottoman (which I completely forgot about when I set up the appointment) for free! Will definitely be using Shane, and recommending him to friends.

Shane did a great job with our carpets! We had a few spots that needed some love and he was able to get them as clean as ever. Not to mention setting the appointment with him was a breeze. I called him Monday morning and he was able to come out Tuesday morning. Great customer service and knowledge of different types of carpets and rugs. Shane did a great job! I called him on a Thursday and was able to squeeze me 2 days later. We are planning on having some people over for the 4th of July and were desperate! He showed up on time which is huge to me. He cleaned 3 bedrooms, an entry way rug and and a large area rug and they all look great! The BIGGEST BONUS - I asked him about the cushions on my couch. We are planning on getting a new one later this year. He spent a few minutes cleaning the cushions.... WOW! It came out so nice that we are actually going to get a couple of more years out of it! Guess how much he charged me?!?! NADA - ZIP - ZILCH - ZERO!! I have used other cleaning services before but this was by far the best. He was very careful to not damage the walls etc. If I could give Shane 6 stars I would! Thanks Shane for a job well done. I will be sending friends/family your way!

Shane was amazing! I had spent some time researching an upholstery cleaner in San Diego. The rates i kept getting were astronomical. I just bought a beautiful couch off Craigslist and wanted it to be cleaned (for good measure :-) ). Shane was friendly on the phone and didn't sound like those other sleazy guys that answered that I had been calling and getting. Not only was Shane friendly but he was soooooo affordable!!!! He showed up on time and did an amazing number on the couch. They smelled and looked brand new after he serviced them. I will definitely be calling Shane again if I need my carpet or upholstery cleaned.

Shane was amazing! Cleaned up my couch good as new and even tackled an old pre-carpet-cleaning cat pee stain in my new place that still had an odor to it - for free! I needed to get our microfiber sectional cleaned (I got it used and it had quite a few spots and rings on it), so I checked out Yelp and saw all the awesome reviews for Accountable Carpet. I called to make an appointment and I was not let down! Shane communicated with me to let me know exactly when he would arrive and what the visit would entail, arrived on time, and stuck to his originally quoted (totally fair) price. He was courteous, pleasant, and completely professional. It's not very often that you get customer service this good anymore. He did a fantastic job on the sectional and was in and out in no time. It looks brand new!! Every spot and mark is gone. You can tell that Shane takes pride in the service that he provides and it really shows in the quality of the work. Extra bonus that I was able to give my money to a local small business and not a corporation. When it's time for us to get anything else cleaned I'll be calling again for sure. Overall great experience!

Talk about Accountable!!! Shane did an absolute wonderful job with my carpets and upholstery. I had him over several times to clean my carpets and couches. He always follows up with you and makes sure you are 100% satisfied. I had a couple of stains that came through the backing and he came right back out and fixed them. Awesome service and very reasonable prices! I am very very satisfied with my carpet cleaning. He got that old person smell out of the place we rented.....wonderful! I couldn't be happier with the service. Shane is really easy to get a hold of, punctual and does more than promised. The carpet is pretty old and had some stains on it and he did an awesome job. I felt comfortable being out of the house and letting him work while I was gone, he locked up when he left. I was surprised to come back and he had left extra care instructions for me and left some disposable plastic socks to walk on the carpet while it was wet. Again, great work, very meticulous. I would highly recommend this company and Shane to anyone.

Shane (owner) was very professional - we called on Wednesday afternoon, he was available to come the next day, based on our schedule. We originally only wanted 2 rooms and a hallway done, and he offered to do 3 additional rooms, for a great price, so we agreed. He was very efficient, carpets looks great, and we are happy! I would definitely recommend Accountable Carpet Clean to anyone looking for a reliable, affordable and far above average carpet cleaning company!

I was very happy with the service I received. The owner (Shane) was prompt about scheduling my cleaning, he called to confirm it, he was on-time, quick, respectful of my home, and did a thorough job. Also the price was good. I had my carpet cleaned by him about a week ago, and he just called today to follow-up and find out if I have any questions. That is good customer service! I will definitely use him again in the future.

Just used this company based on Yelp reviews as was def satisfied. I got an estimate over the phone, the guy was right on time and very friendly. He managed to get the carpets perfect and almost took out a crazy red juice stain in our beige carpet, it is still a bit pink but barely noticeable. He managed to get done a 3bd/3bth townhouse with two sets of stairs in two hours..and we only paid $140! He also gives you a full receipt. I would def use him again.

Wow. I made an appointment with Accountable for my two carpeted bedrooms and a large area rug. I have two dogs and a cat, AND one of the dogs is very elderly and prone to midnight accidents, so the carpets were in pretty rough shape. By the time Shane was done, our carpets looked amazing! I was really impressed with his knowledge and with how thorough he was. My place looks GREAT now!!

Wonderful job, definitely recommend! Shane (the owner) showed up exactly when he said (he gave me a window of 12:30 to 1:30 and came at 1) and was enthusiastic about doing a good job. He got up a stain that the last carpet cleaner said was permanent. I also had carpet damage due to a cat, and now it is as good as new! The price was reasonable and the carpet is clean enough to eat off of.

My carpets look incredible. I had my apartment carpets cleaned once before by a cleaning company I bought a Groupon for. I thought they did a good enough job, did the best with what they were given but now that I've had Accountable Carpet come out and clean my carpets I see a HUGE difference in the results Accountable gave me verse what I received before.
My apartment is super tiny and I remember the previous carpet cleaner took about 30 minutes and was done. I figured my apartment was so small, it made sense. Well Shane from Accountable actually took a much longer time and that time really made a huge difference in end results - I mean WOW. My carpets look AWESOME. They are soft, clean, 100% different looking then before, it's truly amazing.
I will ALWAYS have Accountable Carpet clean my carpets anytime from now on, they are really the best.
Also Shane gave my couch a free once over which was also awesome. Thanks again Shane from Accountable Carpet, your services are matched by no other and really great. -

Shane is very customer service oriented and makes sure that the job is done right. He cleaned 4-5 wool rugs that I have at a really good price, and then called a couple days later to make sure the stains stayed off. I will definitely call him again in the future.
