So this really weird thing happened to me. I was told I needed to try out this really awesome place that had great Mexican food.
Cool. As we drove up to the restaurant I noticed it was named the same thing as the place I frequent in my town. Which only has a few other restaurants in the group. Well, it is the same one! They apparently have a few locations in Massachusetts and this one random one here.
The portions are generous and the food is really good. Well seasoned, comes out quick and the sangria is delicious. I am usually a creature of habit when it comes to ordering here. I get the Chicken Fajitas Tacos which are kind of tucked away in the menu. It is all the fajita goodies in a taco! I have ordered the Shrimp dishes here too and they are really good. When it comes to the Fajitas I usually mix the Chicken and the shrimp, otherwise, the portion of shrimp isn't really enough for all the other items on the plate.
Oh, and the service is always consistently friendly and prompt here. Everyone is always smiling and very inviting atmosphere. -

One of my biggest complaints since moving to this area from California 10 years ago is that I miss the wonderful Mexican food i grew up eating there.
Acapulco's has come to the rescue. They serve excellent, delicious and most importantly authentic Mexican food, the kind they eat in Mexico. Borders is good for Tex Mex or even Cal Mex but Acapulco's is the real deal.
My favorite was the super hot salsa you can ask for...I could get past the first few chips with it but my husband persevered until the spices made him sweat!
Great service too, the staff was very patient with our kids. -

This place is pretty impressive for the area. The menu is big with a lot of variety, and includes seafood, chicken, pork, beef, and vegetarian options.
We were greeted by the staff in Spanish and I think most of them are native speakers and everyone was very friendly.
At the table you start off with homemade, warm, addicting tortilla chips and what I believe is also homemade salsa. Try not to spoil your meal by eating a pound of them.
I got the tacos al pastor with pork carnitas - nicely spiced, with delicious corn tortillas, fresh condiments (cabbage, lettuce, tomato, cilantro) and most dishes come with sides of rice and refried beans.
My dining partner got DELICIOUS, perfectly seasoned carne asada that I'll have to get next time.
The space is clean with nice South Western decor that's not overdone. There's a bar area, as well. -

Best Mexican food around. Great margaritas.

The Veggi Green Burrito was not good - with way too many mushrooms. The sauce that was added around the burrito was too salty, and that effectively made it very difficult to eat the rest of the burrito. Liked the non-alcoholic strawberry and blueberry margarita though.
The service wasn't great - our stiff unsmiling waiter never came by to ask how the food was... perhaps he was not too keen on working over a weekend?
I'm not going here again... just not worth it. -

Great spot for Gringo style Mexican food. The portions are gigantic. I was so full from my lunch that I didn't even have any dinner that night.
I ordered the fish taco which were awesome. I am used to either fried fish tacos (which I don't like), or fish tacos covered in goopy mayo (yuck!). These tacos were so good because the fish was grilled and the sauce was on the side, as well as some cabbage, onions, and cilantro. Soooo good! I never eat the rice at a Mex place because it is always dry and gross...not here! It was cooked perfectly.
If I am ever in this area again, I will eat at Acapulcos. I mean where else would I eat in Enfield? There are not that many choices :)Listed in: CT is not so bad

It might be a little hard to find if you don't already know where it is. It's this hole in the wall in Enfield, CT. They have more locations, but I've only been to the Enfield one.
Good food for reasonable prices. They give you "bottomless bowls" of nachos (accompanied with salsa)...and the molding gives you an authentic feeling that you're in Mexico. The bathroom even smelled like oranges!
I've only been there twice but it was a good time each time. I recommend the chimichangas, and my friend says they have great tamales. If you're looking for cheap, delicious, and filling Mexican food, then this is your spot. -

We've been here several times and the food is consistently amazing, service is great...we will definately continue to go back! My son came with us for the first time tonight (he's 8) and he says that he now LOVES Mexican and wants to go here for his birthday! He never tries anything new so this is saying a LOT!

I eat or drink here at least once a week. The service is fast, the food is wonderful and the drink selection is one of the best in the area. Try the shrimp tula, the sauce is complex and flavorful.

Excellent Mexican! Definitely not a hole in the wall by any normal standards. The restaurant was clean and the decor was nice. The atmosphere was comfortable and the waiters were nice and helpful, but left us alone while we ate.
I had the Enchiladas del Mar which were delicious. The dish had seafood and I was surprised because there were no shells or anything in the seafood which is had to find. The portions were large and the free chips and salsa were excellent.
This restaurant provided true "tex-mex" and not just the New England "Mexican food." The prices were decent for the area, but seemed a little high for the type of food. I haven't found anything this good since I moved to MA from TN a year ago!
