I have to say definately a good place to eat.  Now, just so you konw I tend to eat just about anything, however I do critic everything because I'm a trained chef as well, so I definately have to like something to give it more than 3 stars.  Me and a friend got there about 7pm on Sunday night and there were definately more people out than I thought there'd be but the restaurant did have themselves staffed accordingly, which is always a good thing.

We'd started out with their free chips and salsa which goes to every table.  The salsa was a very good mild salsa, which I'm okay with but my friend likes it spicy.  So, it was great if you like things milder.

When we ordered, I decided to order a side of the Chori Queso Dip.  This stuff was very tasty.  It had enough of the chorizo flavor but not clumpy with unmelted cheese or meet.

My friend ordered the Seafood Chimichangas & I ordered the Tequila Cream Mole Enchiladas.  Now if you are going for overall plate appeal and looks of the dish, the seafood chimichangas are the way to go.  My friend said she loved them.  I loved the Enchiladas, however, if you are not used to mole you might not like the sight because mole is a brown sauce so it does look good, but the flavor was great.  I would definately recommend the Mole Enchiladas.

Drinks, well even though we didn't do a ton of drinking I thought all their prices on drinks were well within reason and actually the Long Island Ice Tea I had was the cheapiest I've ever had, so definately like that part of the bill.

Our service was good, I think our servers name was Angela but I can't quite remember.  Whatever the case is, definately love the service & food and would recommend it to other's to try and see for themselves.

I don't remember ever leaving Blaine satisfied with my dinner...or sober...but Acapulco was not bad (3.5 stars)...wait, I drank 3 beers and margheritia. doh.

    Chips & Salsa...check...good start
Friend recommended the famous cheese dip...light colored rich cheese...delicious and taste good with everything...
Got the seafood chimichanga...pretty good...crispy and loaded with different kinds of seafood...(only pet peeve in restaurants is when they say crab, and mean imitation crab meat)
Got a beef hard taco with some extra pico de gallo...good, but just ok...
Wife got the carnitas dinner...pretty decent fried pork.

I don't think this is authentic, but is it good and fun? Totally dude.

Decent Mexican food. The only thing that isn't decent is the location. It's right off Central Ave, but not really since you can't get to it from that side. Just when you think you got there, you realize that the parking lot from the motel doesn't connect over.

Anyways, $4 liter mug beers are always a novelty. And not just the basic domestic stuff either, a liter of Dos Equis for $4 is pretty good I think.

I love the guacamole here, it's fantastic. All the chips and salsa you can eat. I had a wet burrito ($9.95) and that was pretty tasty as well. I'm a fan.

I went here last Saturday with my family.  We had heard good things about the menu and we weren't disappointed.  The food was reasonably priced and their cheese sauce was amazing.  Our boys are 19 months old.  It was a really laid back atmosphere.

We also had a $5 off $25 purchase from the entertainment book.  I would definitely go back here for dinner.

The chimichangas are what I always get, and acapulco has some great ones.  I recommend the chicken.  They have a tasty cheesy sauce that they put on top.  The only thing is, the rice they give you on the platter is tasteless and has corn in it, which I don't like.

The chips are really tasty though, and they serve pepsi products, which means you can get mt dew with your lunch!

My favorite Mexican restaurant ever. I was a regular when I lived in MN and now I make sure to get there every time I'm back in town.

First of all, let me do a review from my pre-vegan days:
Their chips and salsa are incredible - fresh and homemade. But throw in some queso - HOLY CRAP. Best cheese dip ever - so good. I also always used to order the chicken chimichangas. If you like eating animal flesh, this is as good as it gets.

Now-a-days, as a vegan, I binge on chips and salsa, then order the Acapulco Grilled Chicken Salad with no chicken and no cheese. Sounds awesome, right? Surprisingly, it's still delish! With some pico de gallo and guacamole on top, it's a tasty little salad. But the REAL entree is the chips/salsa. :)

The best part is the price. It's really affordable and great for kids, large parties and everything in between.

Love the chips n salsa, cheese sauce, chimis, shrimp fajitas, pork carnitas tacos and strawberry flautas.

They also have awesome big beers at a great price - 32oz. for less than $4.

Mariachi music at night on the weekends - it can be a bit noisy and annoying, but also kind of fun.

It's not just about food when you eat out. If the ambience is cold it doesn't matter whether the food is really good or not. I can cook good food at home but when I go out to eat at 6:30-7:30 on a Friday night I want an atmosphere; it may be I want something subdued or I want loud either way I want ambience.
So Acapulco: OK Menu selections;big portions; our wait person was friendly; the food came quickly....but when it comes to ambience it's-  nada.
The place caters to families, friends, couples (young and old), it is definitely not pretenious. If you want quick, reasonably priced OK mexican food then this will do.

They made my mothers Birthday one she will never forget. Mexican flag for a drink and mariachi band to get her dancing. Very reasonable, good taste and lots of variety. I wish I lived a little closer b/c those picture frozen margaritas would be a lot of fun.

I like Acapulco.  Second one I have been to located in a strip mall you walk in and it's quite a bit more inside than from the outside, pretty well packed around 4:30pm on Saturday given the economy/consumer confidence.   We had a party of 9 but, were seated within a few minutes.  They have great chips and salsa, iced tea is also good.  Quite the menu, I did not get a chance to spend more than a few minutes browsing it quickly picking out the first thing I run across, the Beef Chimi's.  It's served with two beef Chimichangas shredded lettuce, tomato, and guacamole.   Their famous cheese sauce is poured over the Chimi's, I did'nt read the menu closely enough, you don't pour a cheese over a fried food it must be dipped.  I would see if you could get the cheese sauce on the side.  The side guac was a pitiful little dibble with a think single slice of tomato and shredded lettuce.  I really can't rate the guac their was so little of it I was unable to sample it.  The cheese sauce was not bad, I would have rather dipped the Chimi's in some kind of sauce with flavor, sweet, hot, zesty, something, probably not the slightly bland cheese, maybe fine for dipping but, serving them as is they get soggy and why order soggy fried food if your going to take the hit it better be perfect.  Don't take this wrong, I saw some great food here, the chips and salsa were great.  Take a crack at getting the cheese sauce on the side (keep the chimi's crispy), also see if you can get another sauce or two on the side or be creative.  I want to try some more menu selections here.
