This is a great burrito place on the Plateau. The menu is all hand written in chalk, giving it a real earthy feel.
The service was good, quick and the food was good too. The chips were fresh, but the salsa bar was lacking in variety.
One of my standards for measuring these Mexican joints is whether or not they serve shrimp. Now, I rarely order the shrimp, but if they are willing to offer it on the menu, that raises them a few points in the restaurant hierarchy.
I'll definitely come back here. Plus, I get a discount on my food here, because I supported the local high school fund raiser and bought one of the local discount cards!
Update 4/3/07 - I had a burrito this time (last trip was Tacos al Carbon) and it just wasn't as good. I don't know what it was - maybe the chicken wasn't grilled to perfection or fully marinated. I'm not sure, but it just wasn't as good.
I went there because I have never been there. Now that I have been there, I will never go there.
We ordered two different kind of Tacos and a Burrito. The chips that came with each item taste like it's been sitting out on the table for several hours. The veggies they put in Tacos didn't taste fresh at all. Only thing that got me excited was a "salsa bar" that you can serve yourself as much salsa as you want. I tried three different kinds and they were all disappointing. I don't know what else to say about this place....
Closed, as has the entire chain.

Fast, healthy, tasty Mexican.
A nice location, yummy salsa, friendly service.
Really, really good food… Read more »
The food is bellow average. The portions are small. if you order the quesadillas be prepared for a bit of cheese and tiny pieces of chicken with a bit od salad, cream and ok guacamole. The tacos have very little meat in them too. The chicken salad is ok not great. I had it once and don't feel like having it again. If you like authentic mexican or just good food this place is not for you.
