Excellent customer service and very knowledgeable about sports.
Leon helped my son pick out his new baseball glove and bat and was very thorough in showing my son how to use the equipment. He was also very patient with him and coached him in a very professional manner.
This is the second time visiting this store and his professionalism will make me come back as long as my son plays sports. -

I found a shoe store in the middle of the suburban boondocks called American Canyon. I was looking for shoes for Insanity workout, in the package insert it recommend wearing Cross Training shoes instead of running shoes.
Leon went through the detailed process to verify foot measurements, properly fitted me for the pair of Sketchers, and had be do a few Insanity workouts to check the shoe comfort, and I noticed the difference between doing Insanity with running shoes vs Cross Training shoes. The price for the shoes, it was below 50.00 USD. I mean even though this shoe store is indy and local business, the prices were cheaper than the competitors.
Before you buy your shoes at the competitors or discount stores, I recommend this place.
The store also sells sports equipment.
Leon was very friendly and courteous. He was very knowledgeable about fitness programs and proper shoes for different activities. If you live in the Bay Area or Northern CA, I recommend going to this store. -

Take note: I didn't actually visit this store, but wow, these other reviewers weren't exaggerating about awesome service.
I was looking for an elastic knee brace, but unfortunately the guy on the phone told me that they wouldn't have them in for another 2 weeks. He asked me what exactly I was looking for, put in the effort to think of other possible places to get what I needed, and offered me the idea of Walgreen's. After hurting my knee last night, it was very pleasant and refreshing to speak with a guy so nice.
Haha, I've never been so quick to give someone 5 stars. -

I've lived in American Canyon for over 20 years and have seen many businesses come (and some go). The opening of AC Shoes & Athletics is a blessing to the community. For a small shop they have just about everything one might need and the service is so much better than bigger sporting goods stores. If you need something they don't have, ask Leon and he may be able to order it for you.
I now recommend AC Shoes & Athletics to all of my friends and am not surprised when they report a most favorable shopping experience. -

I needed a shoe that was more functional than fashionable and Leon did an amazing job helping me with what I needed and was a genuine person at that; not a robot-or should I say he really cares. It was also great that two other customers came in and he managed his time creating a balance to help each one of us at once. Lastly, my experience was so great there, I went out of my way to make an account and write a review :D
