These ladies really know how to treat a customer. My first visit they explained what electrolysis was about, after which they showed me what to expect in terms of how it feels. This was a free consultation and put me at ease.
I had a small issue with hairs on my chin and Diane was very professional and diligent in taking care of them. You can pass the time talking or just go into a zone, Diane understands. Price is the same as any other Electrolysis Shop (I checked around.) -

I checked out a few electrologists in New York City recently to clear up about 15 hairs I have left from previous treatments in LA and had a very hard time finding someone great that does good insertions and uses a good machine. Diane at Absolutely Clear Electrolysis is definitely the best one I found in lower Manhattan.
She has the Apilus Senior device and performs thermolysis and fastest microflash, but can also do blend on that machine. The insertions were great and she used a gold probe. She is also very willing to pro-rate treatments, which is great in my case as they're definitely a lot shorter than the usual minimum of 15 minutes given that I only have a couple hairs to treat.
The only downside is that she only takes cash, no credit cards. But I can live with that. -

DIANE MAZZA graduated New York Institute of Electrolysis in 1993 and opened a private Bay Ridge office which she ran for over seven years. Diane acquired Absolutely Clear Electrolysis &Skin Care in late 2001. She is a member of the American Electrology Association and the New York Electrolysis Association and has continued her education through their seminars and workshops.
CATHERINE LaGRUTTA, CPE also graduated from the New York Institute of Electrolysis and acquired her Certified Professional Electrologist credentials in 1993. She purchased a full service beauty salon in Canarsie in 1993 and ran it for 13 years and acquired Absolutely Clear in late 2001. She is also a member of the American Electrology Association and the New York Electrolysis Association and has continued her education through their seminars and workshops.
