Two visits in, and I'm really enjoying getting my face treated like it is a precious gem. Kelly's technique and bedside manner make it even more relaxing...she is very skilled at reviewing and assessing your skin needs, and giving it that bounce back it needs if it lives in Chicago. Her process is very thorough and I come out feeling like a newborn (okay, well, almost).
Dermalogica products are great too, and she offers samples during your initial appointments to try to find what works best for you. Kelly is great at suggesting how to handle your derma beast at home too.
Online appointment system; but book early, she is in greater demand than the Dalai Lama. -

I tried Kelly because of all the great reviews on yelp. I have oily acne prone skin. The facial was ok however my skin really didn't look much better afterwards and still doesnt a week and a half later. I've had better facials where my skin just glowed afterwards and that really didn't happen after a vist to Absolute Precision. It was relatively expensive and not really worth it in my opinion.

The best facial I've ever had. If you're looking for someone to use a million products on your face just to get you to feel like you're getting your money's worth, don't come here. Compared to other facials I've had, the experience had a lot less bells and whistles. The results however are amazing, believe me! Yesterday was my first visit for a facial and initial skin consultation. I wake up the next day with my skin feeling and looking better than it has in a long time. The products Kelly uses are high quality, and she will advise you on how to proceed with caring for your skin. She is just the person to go to if you're feeling a bit lost as to what products to use. Also, ladies, as we know, our skin changes with age, so our skin care needs change. You may be using a product that's no longer relevant to your skin's current condition, and it's not a bad idea to re-access. Kelly's whole thing is getting you to use not only the right products for your skin, but using only what you need to get the job done. Who can argue with that?

Kelly is fantastic! My only regret is that I didn't find her sooner.
I was first referred to Kelly by a friend that has been a longtime client when I was looking for some help with my misbehaving skin. I had never had a facial before and was a little nervous about what to expect, but felt as ease when I met Kelly. She asked about my skincare and makeup habits and took time to help educate me on the best way to take care of my skin. She offers Dermalogica products, which I think are great. She isn't pushy at all and has given me samples to help figure out what works best for me. Best of all, my skin has definitely improved since I have been seeing Kelly!
I've always opted for the signature facial, which she customizes based on my current skin concerns and condition. I always leave feeling so pampered and refreshed and have never been disappointed. Not only does she leave my skin in tiptop shape, but the experience is so relaxing. Between appointments, I literally count the days until I go back! She follows up after appointments and has always been quick to respond to any questions. Book your appointment early, she books up fast! -

2 things to know off the bat:
1) You will not have to search for the perfect esthitician anymore. Kelly is it!
2) Book your appt. ASAP! Kelly is virtually impossible to get an appt. with unless you have booked it months in advance or you get lucky and there is a cancellation that she can book you into earlier.
I had been going to the same lady for my facials for ten years and she moved to Texas with her kids and grandkids last December. I was devasted and had no idea what I would do without her. I began researching new estheticians in the city since I was moving down here in April and I came across Absolute Precision on Yelp. I couldn't have gotten luckier. Kelly is knowledgeable, I felt I could trust her with my skin, and she uses Dermalogica products only which I love.
Even though it's almost impossible to get an appt. with her when I need to, it's always worth the wait. I am glad my skin is in good hands again. -

I have really tried to take as good care of my skin as possible on my own by staying out of the sun and using good skin care products (I can't afford La Mer, but you know what I mean!), but I've always wondered what it was like to have a facial. Everyone I know who sees an esthetician regularly always raves about how much better their skin is, but I always hesitated for two reasons: I have really thin, sensitive skin and worry about a facial being too irritating; and, to be frank, the cost.
Absolute Precision Skin Care/Kelly Mack has resolved both concerns. She is professional and delivers! Not only does she do a great job with the products and techniques she uses, but she provides such a relaxing, pampered experience . . . I never would have expected a neck/shoulder massage, a hand/arm massage AND a facial massage as part of the treatment. Not only did my skin look and feel good, I felt GREAT after my treatment.
Her room is small enough to feel intimate but large enough to feel comfortable. She knew that I was devoted to my current skin care regimen and respected that, which was really nice. She's not pushy with the Dermalogica product line, but gave me a brochure and told me about some of the products she had used on me during the facial. I'll be honest -- there are a couple of products I may just incorporate into my current regimen!
And the price? Absolute Precision is ultra-competitive. If you have shopped around for facials and been concerned about the prices elsewhere, try Kelly at Absolute Precision!!
I DEFINITELY will be going back! -

I have been seeing Kelly for years and am always pleased with the results. Unlike other facials which sometimes feel like "rub cream on, rub cream off" that is never the case with Kelly. Simply the best facials I've ever had!

I get facials for clean, balanced skin and results, not necessarily for an ultra relaxing experience - but somehow, Kelly manages to deliver on both! I moved here from Philadelphia, where I had a fabulous esthetician, and went through a whole slew of people here in Chicago before I found Kelly. After just two visits, my sensitive, sometimes problematic skin already looks and feels better. Kelly does a thorough job and makes you feel completely comfortable in her cozy space throughout the entire hour. A day or two after my appointment, she always follows up to see how my skin is doing and if I have any questions.
There is absolutely no pressure to buy additional products, but I did decide to try the Demalogica line that Kelly uses and I've been very happy with the results. -

Kelly is awesome. Period. I found her through Yelp (what else?) and have been going for facials numerous times over the year.
One thing that I'd like to highlight here, that Kelly is all about educating you - so you know your skin better, know what ingredients that is good for your skin and what is not, know how to use your facial scrub properly, know why mask would actually do good for you, etc etc.
She uses Dermalogica - which was new to me but I found as a really great line of skin care product. I always left Kelly's place with a clean, supple and 'feel pampered' complexion.
If you're a first timer, and can only go on nights and weekends, it will be a good idea to call Kelly personally. Her nights and weekends schedule fill up so fast the minute she opens it, but if you call her, she might be able to work something out for you. Very nice and accomodating (didn't I tell you she's awesome?).
Oh, she would also ask you to list all the products that you use on your face (skin care and makeup), and she will do the research for you whether or not it's a good product for you. Yep. She's that awesome. -

When I turned 50 I decided it was more practical to spend money on a good facial than a shrink. I came to Yelp and found Kelly at Absolute Precision and knew immediately I had made the right decision.
Until then, I took OK care of my skin: I wear sunscreen usually and clean my face, albeit in a somewhat lazy fashion. When I first got to Kelly I had dry bits... in my T-Zone!
Kelly quickly educated me how best to clean my skin and gave me an amazing facial. If she'd said she'd installed a subdermal glow-lamp into my skin, I would have believed her. I was radiant.
I've been back twice more and have bought some products. Kelly's never pushed them on me, thank goodness. That can be such a turn-off, right? I have three more appointments booked. Not that I have issues to work out, I just want to keep this good-skin feeling.
Epilogue: People are starting to notice my skin. In a nice way. -

When it comes to facials, Kelly is definitely the best. I have been to countless facialists, in and out of state, and have found no one that compares to her. I usually get the signature facial and have noticed a HUGE improvement in my skin. Since I am only in my 20's, I started freaking out when I noticed that my skin started to look dry and thus enhance wrinkles (eek!). Kelly recommended Dermalogica products based on my skin type and my skin looks better than it ever has (even better than in my teens/early 20's...). However, she is definitely NOT pushy in trying to sell them. In fact, I am always the one asking her for them because they work so well for my skin! Bonus: you get discounts on certain items if you buy through her. Kelly herself is easy to talk to and makes you feel extremely relaxed. You never leave the chair feeling greasy or oily like I have with other facialists. Instead, I always leave feeling refreshed and clean. If you are interested in keep your skin in top shape, Kelly's facials are worth the money!

To sum up my experience with Kelly, I'd say it was *glorious*.
I'd been talking about going to Absolute Precision for a facial for months, so with my wedding quickly approaching in less than three months (woot!), I decided it was finally time.
First of all, the location is excellent. Super convenient, easy, and free street parking right outside. Prior to my facial, Kelly asked important questions so she could get a handle of my skincare routine and everyday activities that influence the health of my skin. Once the facial began, I didn't want it to be over. Kelly was very thorough and precise (how fitting) with my facial, and I was so incredibly relaxed and stress-free throughout the entire process. One special note: I wear hearing aids, and she is the first esthetician who, upon me telling her this, recommended that I take them out during the facial so I would not worry about trapped moisture, beeping, or them finding their way out on their own. I really appreciated this, because it showed she cared about me being relaxed and about my well being.
Originally, I had booked two appointments with Kelly thinking I would likely just go before my wedding, and might not need facials afterwards except for every six months or so. But after my experience with Kelly, I know I'll be a frequent regular client and that she'll take great care of my skin! -

Read the reviews and was definitely interested.
I needed to get an appointment ASAP since I am leaving the country and Kelly was able to fit me in on a Saturday afternoon.
She is great! Very friendly and knowledgeable. I got the signature facial which is $85 for an hour. It was so relaxing I would have fallen asleep. Her consultation helped me out a LOT too. She's not pushy with skin products, but the one she recommended to me I heard good things about so I went for it and it's working great! ($35 for Dermalogica travel size kit - same price I saw at Ulta)
Had no problem finding street parking on Sat afternoon. -

Kelly is great. Her technique is great. Her products are great, but she never pushes any of them on me. And my skin has definitely improved since I began seeing her. The only reason I subtract one star is that most times I have been there I can either hear the conversations going on in the next room, or can hear the tenants of the condo upstairs stomping around. I totally realize that's not her fault, but it does take away a little of the relaxation factor I look for in a facial experience. Overall though, I'm willing to sacrifice that to get a great facial. My skin glows for a few days after.

I've gone to a lot of estheticians, and am really happy with Kelly. She is very knowledgeable, friendly, takes a genuine interest in her clients, and there is NO pressure to buy any additional products! I have purchased some though, and am glad I did. Kelly uses the Dermalogica line, and I've definitely seen an improvement since I started using it.

Kelly is awesome! I've had a few facials but didn't always have great experiences. I came to Kelly for a specific concern. I had a breakout and I needed help desperately for an upcoming event. After days of searching on yelp, I finally came across Absolute Precision and everyone seemed to love her. My experience was soothing, relaxing and she got the job done. She's extremely knowledgeable with Dermalogica products and even gave me some free samples. I have already pre-scheduled my next facial and can't wait. i just had my first visit with kelly, and i know i will be a regular client. she listened to my concerns, and treated me with products that were effective but not irritating. i know it's not my imagination that my skin already shows benefits from the treatment and the products she suggested for home care.
there is no pressure to buy products, just good information and some samples of items to consider, and i booked a follow up appointment without any input on her part; i didn't need encouragement to repeat such a wonderful (and affordable) experience! -

I went to Kelly last month for the first time, and i will definitely be returning. Her knowledge about general and specific skin care, as well as each product she uses and sells, was exceptional. The space was low-key and inviting, and i immediately felt comfortable. She answered every question I had and was very informative, and like someone else here said, she actually cares about working with you to improve your skin. No products were pushed on me, but my skin looked and felt so great afterward that i couldn't resist some well-selected items from the wonderful dermalogica line that Kelly uses and carries. Very warm, very professional, highly recommended.

I went to Kelly again and it was as good as the first time. She does a thorough job and really knows what she's talking about. I appreciate her advice and can see that it's made a difference in my skin. I also appreciate that she has late hours. It makes it much easier to to do this regularly.
Original review: If you get facials regularly, you know how difficult it can be to find someone who does just what you want them to. I finally found that with Kelly at Absolute Precision. I found her through Goldstar Events thinking that a half price facial would surely be worth it even if it wasn't great. I get facials to get CLEAN, not for the relaxing experience of it. Kelly was gentle yet effective. I somehow felt clean and exfoliated/extracted, yet my skin and face didn't hurt. She provided some great advice on skin care which I've been following and it seems to have made a difference. Looking forward to the next visit! -

I normally do not get facials but it was a gift so
I went. I found it surprisingly relaxing and refreshing. It was at a convenient location to Lakeview. Kelly Mack was very experienced and professional. She made me feel comfortable and was very knowledgeable about what she does. I would definitely go back.
Really Recommend to those whom never had a facial before. -

Kelly is everything people say that she is, professional, personable, and she really knows her craft. This was my first facial and Kelly really made me feel relaxed about the entire procedure. I have always been scared of getting a facial due to the red, swollen and glossy face that I envisioned in my head. When Kelly unclogged my pores, she did it efficiently without much discomfort. She has a gentle touch but knows how to get the job done.
While I was getting my face massaged, I could literally feel it all the way down to my toes. I was so relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed this much needed pampering. I usually feel guilty about spending money on what seems like an extravagance. But, I truly feel like taking care of your body and feeling good about looking your best is worth its weight in gold.
It has been one day since my facial and my skin looks hydrated and glowing! I am so happy with the results!
Look no further ladies, the best thing for your skin is Kelly Mack! -

I have been going to Kelly for quite some time and just love her facials. I found her through Goldstar. She is very professional and my skin has never looked better. Because she is so good it's getting harder and harder to make an appointment (need to do it well in advance).

Book early and book often. Kelly knows her stuff and my skin hasn't felt/looked this good in a long time. I am moving out of the city and my only regret is that I didn't find kelly 2 years ago--I would have been a regular client for sure.

I like getting facials, but I never was impressed with them enough to become a regular of any esthetician. However, I first went to Kelly late last summer, and now I'm a regular client of hers. She is truly interested in helping to balance my combination acne-prone skin, and her knowledge and suggestions always seem to work. Her expertise is great, and her prices are much lower than you will find in a swank spa. I always leave feeling refreshed and happy with the results, and the satisfaction continues at home with the great products and techniques she recommends. Still, I never felt pressured to buy any products, and she generously offered samples before I made a purchase, and reminded me that I could return any product I was not completely satisfied with.

I had my first facial at Absolute Precision a couple of months ago and can't wait to go back! I don't have skin problems normally, but had been having some problems that weren't being solved by my regular facials elsewhere. I decided to visit Kelly and am so glad I did! I went to Kelly for the first time this past October for the pretty in the city promotion. I was running late so I called her to let her know. Thankfully, she assured me it would be no problem. When I got there out of breath and apologizing for my tardiness, she was friendly, calm, and told me not to worry. Phew! I filled out some information about my skin and we discussed my main concerns. She knew what she was going to do for my facial right away. Kelly was quick to answer any of my questions and made me feel comfortable. The facial felt great. Luckily I went because she let me know the exfoliater I've been using is terrible and tears the skin! She showed me some cute starter kits which I loved because it was only $30 for 4 things. So far I like the products very much. Since the facial, I've received emails from Kelly that she sends out to her customers with new products, sales, and other cool info. She welcomes any questions and is very accessible via email which is a nice personal touch. It seems as though she is the only one working there but she still manages to stay happy and energetic. Street parking seems plentiful. I definitely recommend Kelly and will go back!
