I called Absolute Painting and Power Washing to give me a quote on painting the exterior of my home and two rooms on the interior. They scheduled the owner Mike to come out for an estimate the next day. He looked at the project and listened to all my concerns. He took the time to let me know all about the process and the products that they use. His proposal was emailed to me within two hours. He offered me to have one of Absolute Paintings color experts come to do a free color consultation for me. The very next day I had Beth come look at my home inside and out and she gave me amazing advice on colors and some free design tips. She said she could get both of my projects done by the following week. Absolute had a crew come out and do both projects for me and it looks amazing! The crews were so clean, efficient and not one detail was missed. I would use them again and highly recommend them to everyone. What a great experience!

Last year we had an outdoor room added to our house. We love it! But, it already needs treatment. I guess we did not understand that just because it is new doesn't mean it is protected. I called Mike at Absolute Painting and Powerwashing. Since he was both a painting and powerwashing expert I figured I couldn't go wrong. I was right! He explained in simple terms what we needed to do. Gave me an estimate in just a few hours and sent a team over to power wash and then treat the wood. Guess what. It looks perfect again! I know it won't last forever and I know who to call when it is time to do it again. They are fast, professional and really know how to give the client what they ask for.

I highly recommend absolute painting. They are extremely professional and punctual. I used their color consultation service. Beth did an awesome job. She was very helpful in selecting colors after seeing pictures of my furniture and came up with a beautiful solution for my living room. The whole experience has been pleasant and with no headaches. They might have higher prices than other companies but it is worth it. I will use them again!

Absolute Painting & Power Washing was founded by Michael Hughes and his mother Diane. Michael and Diane are still running Absolute Painting 16 years later. We now have over 20 employees and we have won numerous awards over the years from Angieslist in many categories for our exceptional service and quality.
Meet the Business Owner: Michael H.
I was raised in Hillsboro/Beaverton/Forest Grove area and graduated from Forest Grove High School in 1990. After high school I attended Portland State University and graduated with a Finance Law degree in 1995. I learned the painting trade while attending college by painting for an apartment complex in Hillsboro.
In 1995 I started Absolute Painting and also went to work for Intel in the finance department. Within three months at Intel I realized that the cubicle life was not for me. I decided that painting would be my future. Almost 16 years and countless paint brushes later, I am so happy I made that decision!
My mom Diane has been with the company since the beginning and many of you have met her on the jobs over the years. In 2005 I was blessed with a beautiful daughter (Olivia) who is pictured in many of our company photos. In my free time I play golf and enjoy many outdoor activities.
