We have used this compnay multiple times over the last year or so and each and every time the food and service has been spectacular.  They catered 1 of our complexes Thanksgiving Dinner for our residents.  The food was fresh, hot, and delicious.  They set up, cleaned up after the residents and tore down all the items that were theres.  We used them this summer for a summer BBQ and received the same service and the BEST BBQ!!  We will use them again and refer them to anyone who is having a party!

ABC BBQ is amazing!  They saved my wedding, in fact, after Emergency BBQ cancelled on me without much notice at all.  As it turns out, these folks were above and beyond anything that the previous caterer could have ever provided.   Thanks to ABC - I had my own private closed wedding canopy where I could change and have some calm time to myself before the wedding - it was great!

I was too busy to eat, however everyone raved about the food.  Fajitas and chicken wings galore!  The staff were phenomenal!   They set up canopies and umbrellas and chairs - we did not have to go through a separate company for any of these items!   They cut our wedding cake for us and did a splendid job.  They stayed for the duration of the wedding and cleaned up everything after it was over.  AWESOME!

Being able to depend on a company like this during the most important event of your life is worth sharing.   I would recommend ABC to anyone regardless of the size of your event.   Thank you, thank you, thank you - you guys were the BEST!

Absolute indeed. I would give Absolute Barbeque Company 10 stars if I could. They were absolutely incredible. The caterers went above and beyond my expectations during our company bbq.

When I arrived at 815 to meet up with them, their two trucks rolled in right on time at 830. I was worried for probably a second when we realized the park gates wouldn't be open for another few hours, but Shannon, our caterer, put my mind at ease. They would get things unloaded and set up, and everything would be ok. A dozen trips back and forth later, they had all their grills, food, and various items unloaded. They really cared about the customer and making everything go as smooth as possible. We even borrowed their dollies to unload our own chairs and tables.

We ordered the Lonestar meal for anyone 10 and over and the Little Joe's Sidekick for the kids 9 and under. For the amount of food, the price was decent, particularly the Lonestar. It consisted of 1/4 bbq chicken, bbq ribs, chili, green salad, potato salad, corn on the cob, *breathe*, garlic bread, and watermelon. The Little Joe's meal was a hotdog, chips, and cookies.

We didn't have any microphones to make announcements to our huge group (of about 300), so Shannon and (I forget his name) :(  helped with making announcements, and even contest coordination.

They were lifesavers during the event, and great to work with when planning it. It was their first time at the park site, so Stephanie our event coordinator had them make a trip out there in advance to scope out the site.  I wouldn't hesitate to have them cater for another event. Leave the barbequeing to Absolute - one (or three) less thing to worry about!

Absolute Barbecue Company deserves 10 stars actually.

Kim helped coordinate our corporate event for 160 people in just 48 hours. From my very first point of contact with him, I had an excellent experience. He was friendly, professional and had a great attitude. He delivered on all of our requests and put together a beautiful event. The food was delicious - yum! People were talking about how yummy the ribs were and I loved the tri-tip. John was our on - site contact (Kim also was there and stayed throughout the whole event to make sure things went smoothly). John kept reassuring us that we would have enough food because we had a bad experience with another caterer where we ran out of food. We even had enough for people to take home with them in packaged containers! The 3 servers were great too! They helped us with our Champagne toast by passing it out to our employees for a special toast. They also cleaned up everything! We had such a stress free experience!!

Overall, hire them. Plain and simple. Stress free experience and great food and company!

    3.5 stars.

Our company used ABC to cater for about 60-70 people. They showed up on time, set up and had food ready on time.

The menu was reasonable priced, but after adding on a vegetarian skewer, rentals and labor, the price per person double from $17 to $34.

Service was great. They were accommodating, even provided to-go boxes so people were able to take home the leftovers.

Food received mixed reviews. Some said the pork ribs were undercooked. The water had a leaf floating in it which I'm surprised the servers didn't notice. But I personally thought everything was bountiful and tasty.

The only thing that bothered me was that they said they said there was over 80 people (instead of our quote of 62) because people weren't utilizing the chairs and were sitting on the grass. Just because people chose to sit on the grass didn't mean there weren't any empty seats.  It is unlikely there were over 80 people (since our company isn't that big).

Anyway, they didn't charge us because we had so much left overs.

I think the most popular question I get from my engaged friends is, "Who catered your wedding?" So I decided to share with others a excellent caterer -  Catering by Dana. The food was terrific and SUPER affordable. We were so pleased with the food, appetizers, etc. They did a GREAT job. People are still talking to us how great the food at our wedding was. Stephanie - the project manager was great -- honest and professional.

I don't think I completely understand what this other review even means, but they just catered our wedding and everything was fine. No missing items to my knowledge. My husband is the one who worked with them and I know it was a pleasant experience for him. Is it the best barbecue you've ever tasted? No. Is it a nice change of pace from "chicken or fish" at a wedding? Sure is. We had many compliments. I have a few questions about the neapolitan ice cream at the sundae bar and the bartender who opened way too many bottles of wine that we had to pour out afterwards, but other than that things went just fine.
